I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.

　The first time we chose the back of the inn at Shuzenji Onsen, it was the Yukoro Kikuya. It is located almost in the center of the hot spring town of Shuzenji, and if you follow the prefectural road that runs through the northern bank of the Katsura River, there is an entrance to the inn, and there is a parking lot next to it. From the entrance to the main body of the inn, you will pass over the lobby built on the bridge over the Katsura River. Check-in is done on the sofa in this lobby, so you can see the Katsura River from just above the river. As the name ”Yu Corridor” suggests, many hot water areas are connected by long corridors. From those hot springs, I could see the beautiful garden of the inn. The dinner I was looking forward to was called ”Quasi Sakana Kaiseki”, and I was able to choose some dishes as I liked. We were two of us, and we dared to eat different dishes, but each dish looked beautiful and very delicious. Our accommodation plan was a plan to have draft beer free in the private lounge, so we had draft beer in the hot spring and relaxed.

Awesome experience, highly recommended! It's a good place to relax and relieve stress. You can wear pajamas in the hotel (including the restaurant) and the service attitude is impeccable. 1. We booked a room with a bathtub, and we could enjoy the mountain and sea views while taking a bath. When it's a little cold outside, it feels super refreshing to jump into the hot spring bathtub♨️ instantly. 2. There are many types of breakfast, mainly Japanese and Western style, Chinese style including Siomai😄. I personally think it is more delicious than those in big hotels. Friends who like Japanese breakfast will be in for a treat. 3. There is a lounge on the first floor, where you can have some snacks, drink some drinks, and chat with family and friends. 4. The dinner is very exquisite and the portion is large. There will be ramen after 9 o'clock. When we went there, it was Jigoku Ramen with black soup. It was delicious😋 5. The hotel is surrounded by small courtyards with single-family houses. You can walk to the beach in 30 minutes from the hotel and meet many diving enthusiasts.

The surrounding environment is very quiet, there are free hot springs, red bridges, bamboo forests and many-year-old temples nearby. Although the hotel facilities are old, the tatami and hotel hot springs are very authentic. The package package  breakfast and dinner are very good value.

Great value for money. It is very close to Atami Station, a 5-minute walk, very convenient. After exiting the JR station, turn left and walk straight ahead (passing the bus station, there is a Family Mart opposite). Self check-in, remember to ask the staff for a kettle when checking in, as there is no one in the room; disposable items such as toothbrushes and cups can be obtained from the elevator. However, breakfast is a small sandwich and coffee, which is not full and is not recommended. You can store your luggage in the hotel before check-in (automatic luggage box on the first floor). The MOA Art Museum can be reached directly by bus in front of the hotel, but it is still recommended to go to Atami Station to take the bus, otherwise there may be no seats. The staff is rather cold-faced and unenthusiastic. Another bad thing is that on the way from Atami Station to the hotel, you will pass by a heavenly burial ground, which is a bit unlucky~ Everything else is perfect~

It is toda of the image of Nishi Izu, but it is located in Numazu City, and this time I suddenly booked a room with an open-air bath by using a coupon (15000 yen) and a source inn coupon (3000 yen) from Numazu City. The room with an open-air bath is a modern clean Japanese room, and I think it is a young or female preference (Wi-Fi is not a room). The open-air bath in the room takes a lot of time until the hot water is poured, so if you want to enter immediately, you should put hot water immediately after you get into the room. When I closed the shutter, the ocean view was blocked and was regrettable, and it was safe for a woman to enter. It was a large barrel bath and used ２ times during my stay (no washroom). The hot spring in the bath in the public bath was a good hot water with a soft little bit. Because the inn is next to it, there is a blindfold in the woman's open-air bath, and the ocean view was not desired. However, in the nice lounge area on the front floor, there is coffee and detox water service and glass wine service at dusk, so it is cozy ３ We used it once. This lounge is ocean view. The Christmas display was clean. The heart display of the installation reflected was a little childish personally. Dinner was a standard course at the venue meal, so I didn't expect so much, but there was abalone dance. I found that the abalone was very active and alive, so I asked him to make it a sashimi. I made this abalone sashimi on the thorn and sake was sucked. This stab is delicious with a kimo, and the relationship was happy that ”5000 yen is a live abalone stab.” The rice was served with a book of Tenjo wasabi, and the local rice of Tenjo was eaten with nori and oak. There was also a seafood pot with beef stew, potato manju and seafood in color 々. The breakfast was also a balanced Japanese food. The customer service is good, the hospitality is felt everywhere, and it is a clean and comfortable inn.

I stayed for one night in early August with a child of 4 and 7 years old for Shirahama Ohama Beach in front of the hotel. The hotel on the beach is very convenient for bathing with children, but I felt that the line was better here. Check in immediately after the temperature check at the hotel entrance (the room key is received after 15 o'clock), free cloak & shower and dressing room & coin laundry is in the same area, so it becomes light It is connected from the entrance to the pool very close and is the best to move. Moreover, it is good to be close to the public bath. It was convenient to go out directly from the pool to the sea in front of you, and there was a free hot spring shower that dropped sand in the pool when I returned from the sea. There is also a paid rental towel on the pool side with a shower and it is very convenient! It was limited to one word. Coin laundry - shower and dressing room - cloak - large bath - pool - sea All of these were nearby and had a good moving line, so it was good not to take tired children around in a large building There was also a free towel in the public bath. It was easy for children without having to return to the room. It was a room plan (main building confirmation) plan, so it was the third floor of the lowest floor in the room, but it was an outstanding view with a full view of the beach and pool. The only thing that is dissatisfied is the dining hall. There is no window on the mountain side of the first floor and the atmosphere like a large hall for the reception a long time ago. I thought this was perfect if I could see the sea on the top floor or the sea. The content of the meal was buffet. It was a buffet level of so-called ordinary resort hotels, but there were no bad or small types, and there was a live kitchen and it was usually delicious. The room had basic amenities, hot water in the pot and free tea and coffee, empty refrigerator, etc.

夏の気配もすっかり消えて寒くなり、何処か温泉に入れてかつ安い宿に泊まりに行きたい気分だなぁと思って色々探していたら伊東のこの宿を見つけ、GoToキャンペーンを利用して宿泊。素泊まり・バス、トイレ付き客室・貸切風呂利用権つきで4700円ほどでした。 まず、立地は最高といっていいでしょう。伊東駅から徒歩5分圏内、周辺には豊富な飲食店。館内での食事がなくても不便さは感じません。もう少し足を伸ばして海沿いの道路を15分くらい歩けばコンビニやドンキホーテ、道の駅なんかもあったりして、万が一忘れ物をした時の急な買い出しや、お土産の物色もできます。宿から道路を挟んで向かい側はすぐ海で、オレンジビーチという海水浴場になっています。夏に海水浴に伊東に来ようと思ってる人には、この宿の立地の良さが更に際立つ事と思います。 さて、気になる中身ですが、老舗というだけあって、ぱっと見の外観の印象は結構というかだいぶ古く、海沿いに建っていることもあり潮風にさらされ外壁が痛んで見える為少々不安になります。調べたところ50年ほど前に建てられた建物を増改築を繰り返して現在に至っているようです。公式ホームページにも建物の外観をはっきり写した写真を見た記憶がなかったので、いざ初めてその姿を見ると一瞬「えっ、アレなの？」と言う印象を抱きますが、一歩中に足を踏み入れたらロビーは綺麗なので安心です。更に、「この道うん十年」というような貫禄たっぷりなフロント係のおじさん達が温かく出迎え、とっても丁寧に受付と館内の説明をしてくださいます。 部屋まではエレベーターか階段で向かいます。私の部屋は上層階だったので、エレベーターに乗ります。雑居ビルにあるような小さなエレベーターが一機あるだけなので、このご時世「密」を気にする人には気になるかもしれません。 エレベーターを降りると、目の前にはなんとも味のある木目のドアが並んでいて、それが客室への入り口になっています。そのドアをコレまたなんとも味のある、「かめや」の名に因んだ「亀」を象ったプラスチックのキーホルダーのついたシリンダーキーで開けて中へ。 お部屋は畳敷き、広さにして10畳の和室です。やはり古いのか歩くとちょっとミシミシ言います。でもちゃんと綺麗にお掃除が行き届いているのでさほど気になりません。部屋に漂う畳の香りが気分を落ち着かせてくれます。広い空間に一人でいるせいもあるのかもしれませんが、保温性はあまり良くないなか少々肌寒く感じる事があります。エアコンがついているので軽く暖房を入れようとしましたが、残念ながら客側で冷房・暖房の切り替えは出来ない設定にされていました。季節の変わり目の微妙な気温の時期に行くときは、ある程度温度調節の出来る格好で行った方が良いかもしれません。 バス・トイレも付いていて、トイレはキチンとウォシュレット付きの水洗便所と、現代に対応しています。浴衣、タオル、バスマットなどのアメニティ類は一通り揃っており、その他電気ポット、グラス、栓抜きなんかも置いてありました。窓の外は相模湾が一望できる、いわゆるオーシャンビューです。生憎の天気でしたが、ふとした晴れ間に虹を見ることができました。 私が泊まった6階の部屋のすぐ向かいには、大浴場「銀河」がありました。チェックイン開始から深夜の2時ごろまでは男湯、それ以降は女湯となる時間での入れ替え制。別館地下にあるもう一方の大浴場「深海」と、交互に男女の利用時間が入れ替わるシステムになっています。今回は「銀河」のみ利用しましたが、良くも悪くも昔ながらの大浴場で、大浴場と言う割にはそれほど広いわけでもないという感じで、イマイチ面白みがないと言えばそうかもしれません。景色は山側を向いており、伊東の街並みを見渡すことができます。 貸し切り風呂は、チェックインの際に２種類の中から選びます。一つは屋根ありの展望風呂「ぐんじょうの湯」、もう一つは屋上の露天風呂「まんてんの湯」で、どちらに入るか希望を伝えた後、時間を決めます。時間設定は1時間おきになっていて、予約した時間の10分くらい前になるとお風呂の準備が出来ましたよとフロントの人が部屋に内線をかけてお知らせをしてくれます。そうしたらフロントまで鍵を受け取りに行き、予約した時間から45分以内に入浴を済ませ、鍵をフロントに返すというシステムになっています。45分以内で済ませるという点は、人によって長いと感じるか短いと感じるか、結構分かれると思います。 今回私は露天風呂「まんてんの湯」に入りました。良い感じにひんやりと冷たい空気の中で、屋根のない場所で、夜の海を眺めながら温泉に浸かる体験は心地よいものでした。晴れた日には星空も眺めることができて更に素敵なものになるに違いないでしょう。こちらの貸し切り風呂は割と後になって作られたものなのか、新しめの印象で綺麗でした。が、脱衣所の洗面所の天井に蜘蛛が巣を張っていてそれもその上で元気に動き回っていたのは少しなんとかして欲しかったかも。 総評としましては、首都圏から程よい距離にあって、古き良き日本の温泉宿を、手頃な値段で味わえる、という点ではとても良い宿だったと思います。 プランによって泊まることのできるお部屋だったり、入ることの出来るお風呂は様々ですので、事前にしっかり確認をして予約する事が大事です。バス・トイレなしという訳あり部屋なんかもあるそうなので、安さを重視する人はその辺も気をつけた方が良いかもしれません。

Last time I chose ”room with hot springs”, but this time I stayed in a Japanese room with 8 tatami mats. (It's the cheapest plan) The view is on the other side of the room with a hot spring, and you shouldn't expect it because you can only see the cityscape. Also, although there is no indoor bath, there is a large communal bath, so there is no problem. The large communal bath changes daily, but both are large baths and have good hot water. There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.
