Yukairo Kikuya ★★★★
"Excellent hotel with a superb location. It has a suspension bridge within the premises, as well as outdoor and indoor hot springs that are rarely crowded, so you can almost always use them whenever you like. The dinner and breakfast offered were also exceptionally rich and varied."
Sakahijiri Gyokushoen ★★★★
"I'm glad the food is delicious and plentiful!"
Arai Ryokan ★★★★
"detailed mind attentive good location, next to river side"
Shuzenji Onsen Katsuragawa ★★★★
"This was the worst room of our trip. I specifically booked a 28-square-meter room, but when I opened the door, I was shocked. There was absolutely no space for our two suitcases. I ended up having to put one on the table and move the air purifier to make space for the other by the door, but it still blocked it. It was so frustrating! I know rooms in Japan are small, which is why I specifically checked the size when booking, so they clearly gave me the wrong room. It looked like a business twin room. While the price might have seemed like a good deal, my main priority was getting a spacious room, so I ended up contacting Trip.com customer service. Plus, there was a constant strange noise in the room, and I couldn't tell if it was the sound of water flowing outside or something else."
Laforet Shuzenji Sanshisuimei ★★★★★
"Everything was great!! The hotel's interior, the view from the balcony, and the staff's service. I definitely want to go back again!!"
Breezbay Shuzenji Hotel ★★★
"The apartment feels damp; I wonder if it's due to the season."
Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji ★★★★★
"The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The environment was very beautiful and pleasant. The front desk staff could communicate fluently in English, explaining every step and detail very clearly. Their service attitude was excellent."
Oni No Sumika ★★★★★
"Very good stay experience"
Tatsuta Ryokan ★★★★
"The breakfast at the river restaurant (川床料理)is 他和highlight。"

Meijikan
"I booked the largest room, which was really spacious and offered great sea views. The hotel also has public hot springs, though there aren't many varieties."
AlimSTAY IZU
"The hotel is unhelpful to its guests."
Yunohana-Tei
"The service was 100 points. The grandma was so serious. She explained everything to us one by one and tried hard to communicate with us. The hot springs are also nice, and the view from the rooftop is also good. Not to mention the food, the portion size and variety were beyond my expectations and the price-performance ratio was very high. The only drawback is that the wind in Nishi-Izu is too strong in winter. . There was a hurricane howling all night, very noisy. People who sleep lightly are advised to choose with caution in winter. Or wear headphones. Points were deducted for the window sound insulation and the strong winds in winter."
Akaneiro no umi arujisu
"We were a little reluctant to check out this morning, but we'll definitely come back next time. The food in the room was beyond our expectations—it was amazing! The two elderly ladies spent several hours preparing for our meal from check-in to dinner. They prepared a sumptuous breakfast early in the morning. Thank you! It was an unexpected surprise during our trip."
Tofuya Resort & Spa Izu
"I felt that the taste of the food was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights and had lunch with Japanese and Western dishes, but the deliciousness of Japanese food shines. I really liked the chef's seasoning. The toasted nori seaweed served for breakfast is in a wooden box and is warmed in the box. While eating, you can enjoy the texture of crispy grilled seaweed. The open-air bath in the room is also very good. I had time, so I did a 40 minute hike. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we could not see Mt.Fuji. It has become one of the memorable inns that I would like to visit again."
Ochiairo
"The Ochiaro is a special place. And we will miss it very much. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality, amazing meals( Michelin star). We experienced, hatsuyuki, in Ochairo, a magical place indeed. Special thanks to Vincent and Yuki for being our exceptional and thoughtful guides! We hope they can travel to Seattle, USA and visit us someday"
Loquat Nishiizu
"The food quality is very good! The service was excellent! The facilities are a bit old and will be more distinctive after renovation. The hot spring feels very comfortable, the water temperature is slightly high, but the natural feeling is very strong!"
Sagasawakan
"There are fresh flowers everywhere in the hotel, which will soothe your soul. All the staff members were very attentive and made me feel tired from being away. Due to the rain that day, I noticed a sign saying that some roads were closed. I was panicked (after all, there was no other road in the mountains) and called the hotel. They immediately looked into the matter and called me back. I was very grateful that I managed to get there. The hot water was good, the food was good, and I enjoyed it. I gave it a 4 because the key to the open-air bath in the room was old and I was worried. I forgot to tell you"
Itoen Hotel Toi
"Spacious and quiet room with beautiful sea view. Delicious dinner and breskfast. A bus stop just outside the hotel and the Toi pier about 10 minutes by walking."
Onyado Sakaya
"The hot springs were very nice, and the food was delicious. The facilities are old, but I suppose that can't be helped; they'll have to be completely renovated or rebuilt. The musty smell everywhere was a real problem. However, what's really disappointing is the lack of consideration for the guests. Two typhoons were predicted, so the day before my stay I called and asked if I could change my dates. Not a cancellation, but a change. They told me that they couldn't do it now because they had already started preparations. I was disappointed, but I went out in the heavy rain. That night the rain got heavier, and the next day I received an email from the inn in Izu Kogen that I had booked, saying, "Please don't push yourself, and we won't charge you a cancellation fee this time because of the circumstances." I think that was a sincere response that considered the guest's perspective. The next morning, when I checked out and told them about the response from the inn in Izu Kogen, they said that other guests didn't cancel, but I don't think that's a valid reason. I wasn't keen on going. Also, the innkeeper said that this amount of rain would be fine, but I'm not a local, so I don't know that. I drove there, and I was worried because I had read on the news that there was a possibility of road closures. I was given a 5000 yen refund, but I don't think that was the right thing to do. I booked through Jalan, but for some reason it was treated as a cancellation after check-out. I would like the feelings of the customers to be respected."
Yugashima Golf Club & Hotel Resort
"I made a reservation to coincide with the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival. I took a hot spring bath as soon as I arrived, and the large indoor bath and outdoor rock bath had a feeling of openness that was really great. The quality of the spring water is very good and you won't get too hot, so you can enjoy it over and over again. I love that you can come in from 5am! When I took a walk outside at night, I was very moved by the starry sky. The staff are very kind and I am very satisfied overall. There was a golf course right in front of the hotel, so next time I would like to stay with friends and make a golf reservation."
Toi Fujiya Hotel
"I thought the room had an open-air bath, but it wasn't. That price is too high for that room. It must be a mistake. The foreign staff are hardworking and I like them. It's inconvenient that there are no mirrors in the room."
Fugaku Gunjo
"The food was wonderful, and I highly recommend the open-air bath with a great view and the spacious rooms! This is a review of my stay at the Michelin-starred inn, "Fugaku Gunjo," a hotel overlooking the World Heritage site of Mt. Fuji. The room was spacious and the open-air bath was stylish and relaxing! I was glad that the hotel was close to the bus stop when I went by bus. Right next to the lobby was a restaurant with completely private rooms ♡ There were 8 rooms, one for each guest, so I was able to enjoy my private time.
