"The environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂"

"Typical traditional onsen ryokan with expansive sea view. Free parking is available onsite opposite the hotel. We did not try the food at the restaurant and opted for dinner at a nearby restaurant.
We had a spectacular view of sunset over Sugura Bay as the weather was clear."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe beef is especially delicious, the room is clean and comfortable, and there is no odor. The service is thoughtful, the tableware is of high quality, and personalized service can also be provided
GGuest UserI was initially concerned that the rooms might be a bit dated before checking in, but those worries completely disappeared once I arrived. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. I won't share photos of the public areas as many others already have, but here are some room photos (P1-3). P4 shows the truly beautiful view from my room – you can see bamboo shadows, a flowing stream, and a charming bridge. The hotel service was excellent too. My only regret was not choosing the dinner-inclusive package; adding it on arrival cost 9500 JPY per person, which wasn't as good value as booking it in advance. I had breakfast, which was quite good, and the main dining area was absolutely beautiful. After 10 PM, the hotel even offers complimentary Chinese-style soy sauce ramen, which was surprisingly delicious. P5 illustrates the layout of the Mizunouta rooms. I noticed that rooms 106-108 would have poor privacy, as guests passing over the suspension bridge could easily see into them. I was assigned room 104. While checking out in the morning, I also managed to snap a photo of room 105 (P5), which looked equally appealing.
LLIHUAHotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels.
There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice.
The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English.
Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly.
Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed.
Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.
GGuest UserThe room is small, Japanese style, but very clean, the best is breakfast and dinner, banquet cuisine, each is very delicate, attentive, very delicious, more than expected. The soup is a private soup, the garden soup, very good 👍
VV_TripsWaking up to see the Mount Fuji from the room is the highlight. Hot spring is also available in the room. The hotel rooms are spacious and located over the hillside - the most convenient way to commute between buildings are via car/ shuttle bus; walking may take much longer. Lights in the room are a bit too dim to us. Limited amenities are available, with no toothbrush/ toothpaste in room. Futons are available, but self-serve.
Access to Laforet and Izu Marriott public hot springs is available. Unfortunately towels are not available in the public bath of Laforet - towels need to brought from hotel room.
Standard dinner / breakfast buffets are available.
MMic890This hotel is located in uphill. It is difficult to walk up to the hotel, better to plan your itinerary with free shuttle schedule. The free shuttle bus schedule stored in the hotel website but the file I couldn’t able to download. You can call the hotel for details. The hotel facilitates are good but every single spot are not walking distance. It is suggested to buy some snacks/food before going up to the hotel. If you play golf, they have a view of Mt Fuji.
The staff here are polite and willing to answer your questions.
GGuest UserI had a good time with my dog. It was quiet and the scenery was good, and there was an open-air bath in each room, so I was able to enter at any time. Most of the staff are foreigners, but they were good at Japanese and there was no problem.
