I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.

This used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. But what if you want to go ”out to eat” at night, instead of paying between 10-20,000 yen for a meal? Good luck. Unless you have your own car (and I'd say about 90% of the customers

While planning the trip to Izu, we wanted to be close to the ocean and enjoy some excellent seafood (sashimi), and we were not disappointed with the stay at Inatori Tokai Hotel Yuen. The hotel is literally just next to the ocean and since we booked a room with private onsen, it was really a treat soaking in hot onsen water, admiring the view and enjoying the sound of the ocean. Though our first impression of the hotel was that it is a bit dated, the rooms have obviously been newly renovated with a nice modern look. We are a group of four so we booked a Western/Japanese room with two beds and a tatami room. It is a good size for the 4 of us. Dinner was excellent with lots of fresh sashimi; since we chose a menu with lobster and abalone, we would have expected that the portion of the regular sashimi would be reduced, yet this was not the case. Hence, one suggestion is that the portion of sashimi could be adjusted for it was way too much for four people. I like the website of the hotel, which allows me to check all the details including choice of room before making the booking. As it was not a budget stay, it is important for us to make decision based on the best information.

Last time I chose ”room with hot springs”, but this time I stayed in a Japanese room with 8 tatami mats. (It's the cheapest plan) The view is on the other side of the room with a hot spring, and you shouldn't expect it because you can only see the cityscape. Also, although there is no indoor bath, there is a large communal bath, so there is no problem. The large communal bath changes daily, but both are large baths and have good hot water. There is also a hot spring area so you can relax. Now it seems normal to park in the second parking lot (plane) a little far from the first parking lot (mechanical parking lot). But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

Great value for money. It is very close to Atami Station, a 5-minute walk, very convenient. After exiting the JR station, turn left and walk straight ahead (passing the bus station, there is a Family Mart opposite). Self check-in, remember to ask the staff for a kettle when checking in, as there is no one in the room; disposable items such as toothbrushes and cups can be obtained from the elevator. However, breakfast is a small sandwich and coffee, which is not full and is not recommended. You can store your luggage in the hotel before check-in (automatic luggage box on the first floor). The MOA Art Museum can be reached directly by bus in front of the hotel, but it is still recommended to go to Atami Station to take the bus, otherwise there may be no seats. The staff is rather cold-faced and unenthusiastic. Another bad thing is that on the way from Atami Station to the hotel, you will pass by a heavenly burial ground, which is a bit unlucky~ Everything else is perfect~

A lot of staff were working and it was a cheerful trip from everyone. There was a sense of industry and it made me want to visit again. It was a time when I could feel the nostalgia I felt because of this era, the atmosphere of the hot spring town, and the feeling that I came to travel. Thank you very much. I stayed overnight in a group of 4 friends from high school. I went with a friend who went with me because of the contact with an uninhabited island where I stayed by a dedicated ferry. We took the shuttle bus from Mishima Station on the Shinkansen, but since this bus was gorgeous, we were very excited from that time (although the return was an ordinary microbus). When you arrive at the dock, there is a dedicated luxurious waiting room, which is differentiated from customers who go to the aquarium on the same island. When I was ashore by the hotel, I was in the waiting room, but the polite staff welcomed me and guided me to the lobby with a wide 々 through the road to the garden decorated with sculptures and plants. It won't end if you write in this tone, so I'll do it here, but the whole building is wonderful, such as the splendid hallway with artworks on the second floor. The cigar bar, which is like a luxury country club or a cruise ship, makes you feel the style. The staff was not very conspicuous and it was a good point that I was able to spend freely in the hotel without hesitation. The room was a Japanese style room, but there was a living room between the Japanese room and the bedroom on the sea side, and it was a relaxing construction as a wide 々 including the bathroom, and it was too much to relax by four people. The view of the sea and Mt. Fuji from the room was also great. And the great service is a drink service including beer and wine until 7 pm. From 7 am, you can only enjoy soft drinks and coffee, but you can take it back to the scenic lounge or your room. Due to the convenience of one of my friends, I only had breakfast this time, but the level of food was high and the service was perfect, so I should be able to expect dinner quite a bit. Come next time. As for the bath, I wanted to take the open-air bath with good spring quality and the best view. I enjoyed Mt. Fuji standing up from the sea in front of me blessed with the weather. It was a very luxurious hotel stay. Thank you to your friend who taught me such a nice place. Then, although the scale is small, I was able to enter the Awashima Aquarium for free, where I can feel the passion of the staff. It's like a hotel wanderer, but it's a really nice place, maybe it's a hidden gem that you want to hide for those who have stayed there.

The hardware of the hotel is good, but it is very expensive on the day of watching the fireworks. The price is more than 2,000 per night, but it is not easy to get a room. What I'm speechless about is that the automatic check-in process is so terrible. I spent a full 40 minutes in front of my iPad. The operator didn't understand Chinese or English and couldn't understand. He had to write down his identity information and his domestic address. Everything had to be video-recorded with the operator. Make sure I am myself before I will send you a room password. This is the first time in my life to experience such a stay. There weren't any waiters in the hotel, but luckily it was not easy to get it done in the end.

You can take a bus to Izu-Kogen Station. There is a hotel shuttle bus in the parking lot. There are no special signs. Pay attention to the hotel's name printed on the front of the bus (you need to look carefully). The driver will check your name carefully before getting on the bus. Although the distance is one kilometer, it is all on hills. Fortunately, we have a car. The hotel room is large and the environment is beautiful. Outside the window is the sea. Dinner in the hotel needs to be booked in advance, and it was too late to make a reservation when we arrived. Dinner is purely Japanese style. The hotel can provide you with the names and phone numbers of nearby hotels. Even the prices in surrounding restaurants are relatively high. This private hot spring has a 24-hour continuous cycle and maintains a constant temperature of 41 degrees. In addition, the hotel also provided socks for wearing clogs. I tried them on but I still wasn't used to them. There are two places on the first floor of the hotel that provide unlimited free drinks, cookies, chocolates, etc. Free dandan noodles in the third floor restaurant. Breakfast is good and cheap.
