This is a Ryokan which has a very good reputation. For me, the stay is perfect and I will recommend this Ryokan. Even though you cannot value the location of the Ryokan, as Shuzenji is a very small place. The Rokan is right opposite to the bamboo forest, which is suitable for my personal view. However, you need to notice as it is close to the bamboo forest and near to the river, you will find many bugs here, especially at night. Don't forget to close the windows and doors. When you first arrive at the Ryokan, don't forget to take a photo of the board at the door as you can find your name on it. If you have a name that can be written in Kanji, you can even email them to let them write in Kanji. The Ryokan itself is large but the staff are very nice and friendly. They will introduce the whole Ryokan to you when you arrive and lead you to the most places so that you can find out the several Onsens and amenities' locations. I will recommend you to discover the Ryokan when you are free. The Ryokan even provides guided tours as most of the buildings here are cultural heritage. Moreover, the Ryokan will even provide umbrellas, so no worries when it rains. The English of Ryokan staff is not ideal, as you might be able to guess. If you can speak Japanese, I will recommend you to use Japanese. The food quality is very good and they will sometimes provide some very interesting dishes. For example, the lobster shell tempura, which shocked me at first but tasted not bad. I have mentioned Onsen before but there are a few more you might need to know. Since the hotel has a long history, you might need to take a shower in your room first then go to the Onsen in different places as there are no shower places in Onsen like other Ryokan. However, the onsen is very good so I will recommend you try as many as you can. Overall, the Rokan is expensive but absolutely worthy. I will recommend you to try it when you are free.

This used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. But what if you want to go ”out to eat” at night, instead of paying between 10-20,000 yen for a meal? Good luck. Unless you have your own car (and I'd say about 90% of the customers

The person in charge of the trip was very kind and I have fond memories of my trip. It was a birthday celebration, and I was very happy to see how they livened up the occasion and showed their careful attention. Both dinner and breakfast were very voluminous and I was satisfied with both the presentation and the taste, although I think it varies depending on the plan. As for the hot springs, I thought that everyone from children to adults could take a dip in them with peace of mind because the temperature was right and the skin was in good condition after the bath. I was satisfied with everything about the room, hot springs, food, and customer service.

I used it to dive with three companions. Because of the corona cherry blossoms, I didn't hit the search for a single room, and it was a fairly large room, and I made a reservation to make a social distance. It seems that there was a coupon use by a certain site and a prepaid discount, and about 6000 yen per person including hot water tax. It is a rich view in a luxurious room that doesn't usually make a reservation first, and it feels sorry to not stay with my wife. The public bath is also a natural hot spring, and the open-air bath is a source of water. The inner bath was written as being chlorine disinfected by circulation, but the smell of hot water is not known. There were sauna and water baths, and it was quite slow. The original is like a resort condominium, and the passage faces outdoors, but unless it is rained in the rain of the side hit, it is positive only for the noise like the corridor I felt it. I didn't have a meal, so I can't evaluate it there, but I think it is quite convenient to use it in a group of multiple people because there is a set of cooking equipment and a large refrigerator in the room. It is a big facility, but all the spaces are well air-conditioned and no negative points were found.

I was able to stay very cheaply with a limited plan in the prefecture. Unfortunately, we didn't welcome you when we arrived. I was just looking at this, and I was mechanically in the lounge, and the woman in charge was with a beginner mark, and I thought, well, it wasn't so crowded, so I thought, well, I should have someone to follow. The bee was beautiful and not so dark as to say, and it was comfortable. The room was 5 floor, the front of the room was a warehouse, the door opened, and the sheets used were not released. Check-in time was over. The room was comfortable, but compared to the picture, the ageing deterioration was progressing. The shape of the sofa was 1 below the rank. The rental bath uses haku and tate, Especially Haku was great. Is it okay to use tate 1 degrees? It's a young direction. The public bath was also good with the atmosphere. Dinner is Kaiseki ”calendar” Koyomi, no luxury ingredients, but it was very delicious with a hard dish. The amount of drinks was conscientious. However, There were many families who needed small children at the end of the seat, and I was not calm. I strongly think that the family with children and the adult only accommodation group should be divided as much as possible. In the morning, From the early morning, the noise and the noise from the warehouse, it's a violation of the rules, and honestly, I came to my head. Breakfast was disappointing at the same seat as dinner. The breakfast itself was delicious This hotel, Cospa is good, the food is delicious, the bath is enjoyed, and it is very good, but the customer service, especially the female front desk, is very dry and stay I couldn't enjoy it Finally, only the young handsome man at check-out was lucky to have been sent out in the rain with a very pleasant customer service. Thank you.

It is toda of the image of Nishi Izu, but it is located in Numazu City, and this time I suddenly booked a room with an open-air bath by using a coupon (15000 yen) and a source inn coupon (3000 yen) from Numazu City. The room with an open-air bath is a modern clean Japanese room, and I think it is a young or female preference (Wi-Fi is not a room). The open-air bath in the room takes a lot of time until the hot water is poured, so if you want to enter immediately, you should put hot water immediately after you get into the room. When I closed the shutter, the ocean view was blocked and was regrettable, and it was safe for a woman to enter. It was a large barrel bath and used 2 times during my stay (no washroom). The hot spring in the bath in the public bath was a good hot water with a soft little bit. Because the inn is next to it, there is a blindfold in the woman's open-air bath, and the ocean view was not desired. However, in the nice lounge area on the front floor, there is coffee and detox water service and glass wine service at dusk, so it is cozy 3 We used it once. This lounge is ocean view. The Christmas display was clean. The heart display of the installation reflected was a little childish personally. Dinner was a standard course at the venue meal, so I didn't expect so much, but there was abalone dance. I found that the abalone was very active and alive, so I asked him to make it a sashimi. I made this abalone sashimi on the thorn and sake was sucked. This stab is delicious with a kimo, and the relationship was happy that ”5000 yen is a live abalone stab.” The rice was served with a book of Tenjo wasabi, and the local rice of Tenjo was eaten with nori and oak. There was also a seafood pot with beef stew, potato manju and seafood in color 々. The breakfast was also a balanced Japanese food. The customer service is good, the hospitality is felt everywhere, and it is a clean and comfortable inn.

I stayed overnight in a group of 4 friends from high school. I went with a friend who went with me because of the contact with an uninhabited island where I stayed by a dedicated ferry. We took the shuttle bus from Mishima Station on the Shinkansen, but since this bus was gorgeous, we were very excited from that time (although the return was an ordinary microbus). When you arrive at the dock, there is a dedicated luxurious waiting room, which is differentiated from customers who go to the aquarium on the same island. When I was ashore by the hotel, I was in the waiting room, but the polite staff welcomed me and guided me to the lobby with a wide 々 through the road to the garden decorated with sculptures and plants. It won't end if you write in this tone, so I'll do it here, but the whole building is wonderful, such as the splendid hallway with artworks on the second floor. The cigar bar, which is like a luxury country club or a cruise ship, makes you feel the style. The staff was not very conspicuous and it was a good point that I was able to spend freely in the hotel without hesitation. The room was a Japanese style room, but there was a living room between the Japanese room and the bedroom on the sea side, and it was a relaxing construction as a wide 々 including the bathroom, and it was too much to relax by four people. The view of the sea and Mt. Fuji from the room was also great. And the great service is a drink service including beer and wine until 7 pm. From 7 am, you can only enjoy soft drinks and coffee, but you can take it back to the scenic lounge or your room. Due to the convenience of one of my friends, I only had breakfast this time, but the level of food was high and the service was perfect, so I should be able to expect dinner quite a bit. Come next time. As for the bath, I wanted to take the open-air bath with good spring quality and the best view. I enjoyed Mt. Fuji standing up from the sea in front of me blessed with the weather. It was a very luxurious hotel stay. Thank you to your friend who taught me such a nice place. Then, although the scale is small, I was able to enter the Awashima Aquarium for free, where I can feel the passion of the staff. It's like a hotel wanderer, but it's a really nice place, maybe it's a hidden gem that you want to hide for those who have stayed there.

I stayed for one night in early August with a child of 4 and 7 years old for Shirahama Ohama Beach in front of the hotel. The hotel on the beach is very convenient for bathing with children, but I felt that the line was better here. Check in immediately after the temperature check at the hotel entrance (the room key is received after 15 o'clock), free cloak & shower and dressing room & coin laundry is in the same area, so it becomes light It is connected from the entrance to the pool very close and is the best to move. Moreover, it is good to be close to the public bath. It was convenient to go out directly from the pool to the sea in front of you, and there was a free hot spring shower that dropped sand in the pool when I returned from the sea. There is also a paid rental towel on the pool side with a shower and it is very convenient! It was limited to one word. Coin laundry - shower and dressing room - cloak - large bath - pool - sea All of these were nearby and had a good moving line, so it was good not to take tired children around in a large building There was also a free towel in the public bath. It was easy for children without having to return to the room. It was a room plan (main building confirmation) plan, so it was the third floor of the lowest floor in the room, but it was an outstanding view with a full view of the beach and pool. The only thing that is dissatisfied is the dining hall. There is no window on the mountain side of the first floor and the atmosphere like a large hall for the reception a long time ago. I thought this was perfect if I could see the sea on the top floor or the sea. The content of the meal was buffet. It was a buffet level of so-called ordinary resort hotels, but there were no bad or small types, and there was a live kitchen and it was usually delicious. The room had basic amenities, hot water in the pot and free tea and coffee, empty refrigerator, etc.

I suddenly decided to go to Numazu and made a reservation on the night of the day of my stay. I was confused because the entrance was a little difficult to understand, but the front desk was simple and clean and very beautiful. The room feels like an ordinary hotel, but the bath is amazing! I imagined a unit bath in an ordinary hotel, but the unit bath here is wide without a feeling of oppression, and it is partly wood grain and the design is nice. I thought it was a hotel made by Daiwa House. The price is not high, so I will definitely use it again next time I go to Numazu. The bath was a high score anyway. By the way, there is a corner with a microwave oven and vending machine on the top floor. There is a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're hungry in the middle of the night! The station is close, and the parking lot (1 day 1000 yen) is also available, so the convenience is excellent.

Hotel is near to the Mishima JR station (about 7-10 mins’ walk instead of the stated 3 mins) but it was at the opposite side of the station where all the eateries and amenities were. Could get really dark to walk from the station especially for the ladies. Public bath/onsen was not bad but the outdoor pool was overhyped. There was a cold pool, sauna too. There are 2 massage chairs. Overall, an dated hotel that serves its purpose for a brief stay with tea and coffee dispenser in the lobby.

GGuest User■ Location Take a bus (220 yen cash only) from Shuzenji Station and get off at Miyukibashi, 2-3 minutes. The other side across the new bridge along the Katsura River. About 7 minutes on foot from Shuzenji Onsen Station on the route bus. Large high-rise inn. The scenery might be beautiful during autumn leaves. ■Nearby Attractions We recommend going to Niji no Sato on a free electric bicycle. The bicycle was also made by Panasonic and was new, and it was powerful even on the slopes. You can get there in about 20 minutes. At Niji no Sato, you can enjoy steam locomotives and views of Mt. Fuji. Also, if you have a receipt for staying at Shuzenji Onsen, Niji no Sato will give you a 30% discount. ■ Room The room was spacious and the bed was set on tatami mats, so it was comfortable to sleep. It was nice to have a humidifier. ■ Meals Buffet style with a competitive number of items. If you are with children, you can enjoy it in an entertainment mood. It might be more fun if you make it a fair specification such as cotton candy. On the contrary, it is a mess, so it is not recommended for those who want to enjoy it slowly or emphasize the atmosphere. ■ Amenities In front of the Daily Yamazaki convenience store in the ryokan, you can take whatever you want as much as you like. I think that management efforts to reduce personnel and maintenance costs are rational, only for Obako Hotel. I think the service of choosing a yukata is very good. Wouldn't it be nice to have a special yukata for a fee? If there is a design that looks good on Instagram. ■ Hospitality The check-in time was around 17:00, so I contacted them in advance. At that time, there are only two dinners at 18:00 and 18:30, and the 19:45 two-part system is not being done at this time, so I hurried to the hotel without eating lunch. At the front desk of the inn, it was said that after 18:00, there would be a two-part system at 19:30, and there was a discrepancy between the phone and time. Although I complained about it, the woman at the reception was indifferent, with no apology or confirmation, whether the complaint was a daily occurrence. Perhaps the person on the phone misunderstood and told the time, but I asked if there was 19:45, and although I insisted that it was not, I regret that I told the wrong time. . I can't help but make a mistake, but I was disappointed because there was no follow-up at the reception.

GGuest UserFuji is beautiful in winter. In addition, the cherry blossoms bloom early and the warm weather makes it the perfect place for a trip to Nishiizu. Shimoda is also nearby, so you can enjoy a drive to Minamiizu. It's a pity that there are no large public baths or private baths at En, but if the weather is fine, you can spend a pleasant time. There are individual differences in food, but we enjoyed it. Deep sea fish are delicious.

GGuest User The first time we chose the back of the inn at Shuzenji Onsen, it was the Yukoro Kikuya. It is located almost in the center of the hot spring town of Shuzenji, and if you follow the prefectural road that runs through the northern bank of the Katsura River, there is an entrance to the inn, and there is a parking lot next to it. From the entrance to the main body of the inn, you will pass over the lobby built on the bridge over the Katsura River. Check-in is done on the sofa in this lobby, so you can see the Katsura River from just above the river. As the name ”Yu Corridor” suggests, many hot water areas are connected by long corridors. From those hot springs, I could see the beautiful garden of the inn. The dinner I was looking forward to was called ”Quasi Sakana Kaiseki”, and I was able to choose some dishes as I liked. We were two of us, and we dared to eat different dishes, but each dish looked beautiful and very delicious. Our accommodation plan was a plan to have draft beer free in the private lounge, so we had draft beer in the hot spring and relaxed.

--zzrpI chose Taizanso because of the high reviews. I enjoy eating, so the fact that the reviews for the food were good was the number one factor. Due to the corona sickness, all the dishes were lined up on the table except for rice and dessert. Originally, black rice was served last, but white rice was served as an appetizer. The black rice for dinner and wasabi rice for breakfast were delicious. I don't think this dish can be helped if it's a corona countermeasure dish, but I thought it was a very ordinary dish that was neither acceptable nor impossible. If the usual kaiseki cuisine is better, can I visit again? The public bath didn't feel smaller than I imagined (image from word of mouth). The quality of the hot springs is good to stay warm forever, but it doesn't seem to be free-flowing. Due to the corona crisis, the two large public baths are reserved until 22:00 and then become men's and women's baths. The bath in the ordinary Japanese-style room was deep and tiled, so I didn't feel the atmosphere. It was a room on the second floor, but I think it would be better for the elderly and those with disabilities to be careful about the stairs and the room bath. Free coffee and tea was very nice. I think that the customer service of the staff is good. The inn seems to have a history, but is it clean and incense? The scent of is also soothing. You can't see the view from the room, but it's close to the center of Shuzenji, so it's good for a walk.

GGuest UserI stayed with my family because I had a meal in a private room and had an open-air bath in my room. It is in the back of Shuzenji Onsen Town and is a quiet environment. When I arrived at the inn, I received a welcome drink service in the lounge. The room was very large and barrier free. The semi open-air bath was large enough for children and two people, and the washroom was large and easy to use. The bedroom and Japanese room were spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are available in a private room, and each dish is added for a while and is great. The lady and the chef were also greeted and impressed by the hospitality. The chef brought the shiitake mushroom log and ate it with the butter baking of shiitake mushroom, but it was exquisite. The young woman who took charge 々 was also very kind and felt very good. I would like to repeat it again.

NNgThe place is amazing, own onsen in your room, and there is an amazing view of Fuji. The only problem is that there any restaurants for this hotel that doesn’t require a reservation prior to your check in, so if you need any food, you need to go to the hotel next-door. Other than that is a very good experience, very spacious room for your family or your friend, and it’s a great chance for you to get near nearer to the nature.

Very Good
: This is a beautiful traditional riverside Ryokan. Our room, very pretty, had a balcony which opened directly onto the famous Katsura bridge. The welcome was good and the (traditional) breakfast truly exceptional. The onsen was definitely the hottest we tried in Japan but quite pleasant. Everything is close.

神游小哈The location is slightly biased, so there may be fewer foreign guests in the hotel, mainly locals. The view of the room is a selling point. It faces the sea from Mt. Fuji. The open air is very comfortable and the room is very comfortable. There are not many places to stroll around and it is not convenient to not drive. The hotel's food is very good, it is a combination of Japanese and French, and the display is very beautiful. The service attitude is very good, that is, the overall English level is slightly poor, and the communication is slightly difficult.
