The Inn at Thorn Hill

Cozy, quaint and quiet location. Very welcoming and accommodating. Food on site is excellent.

We stayed at the Inn at Thorn Hill from December 22nd to 24th, and the experience was absolutely magical. Everything was perfect, the beautiful, cozy room, the outstanding food, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and the host made us feel truly cared for with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. It was a peaceful, luxurious stay and one we will always remember. Highly recommended, we can’t wait to return.

Warm welcome with a proseco..perfect way to set a great tone! Loved the Trailside cabin. It was decorated absolutely beautifully! The breakfast was delicious & the servers were lovely. It would be really nice to have crackers & cheese out at the bar. I was called at 10:15 pm to get my credit card info. It really scared me to have the phone ring loudly as I was sound asleep....should have waited until morning. All and all we loved it!

Stayed for two nights in May in Mt Adams room. Good size, well fitted and large bathroom. Facilities include a well stocked bar and lounge, breakfast and dinner in the dining room or on the porch afternoon tea abd cookies, and free car parking. The Inn has a lovely ambience and friendly staff. A warm welcome at reception with a glass of Prosecco from Innkeeper Nancy. Well placed for all local attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favourite hotel of the trip. If we lived closer we would very regular guests!

Great experience first time stay. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed from check-in to check out. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and had some good amenities, maybe would suggest a in room coffee maker K cup. Thier coffee downstairs was easy to get and very good. Would like to specifically recognize some staff, Nancy check-in, Ed bar tender and dine in service Nick, Bella, Jessica, this applies to all the staff if names were not mentioned.

We escaped to the beautiful White Mountains for a snowy retreat at The Inn at Thorn hill and loved it. A quiet town with lots of nearby restaurants and pubs . No kids at the inn or tv in the lobby - just cozy fires, board games and conversation. The rooms are a little dated but the bed was extremely comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was a treat. Had one dinner which was excellent and two included breakfasts - sumptuous. Can’t say enough about the friendly staff - especially Amy at the front desk and Ed the bartender! Great break!

Continuing what has become an annual tradition of celebrating our wedding anniversary at Thorn Hill truly feels like coming home after a long journey. Walking up the porch steps and through the front door brings an immediate sense of calm, familiarity, and comfort. Having returned so many times, it almost goes without saying that the rooms are always immaculate and inviting (a special shout-out to housekeeping superhero Sharonette), the setting is idyllic, the views are beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the food is consistently delicious. Above all else, however, it is the warmth and genuine hospitality of the staff that make Thorn Hill so special. Smiles and kindness can be found around every corner—from the breakfast staff (Nicklaus, Bella), to the evening servers, to the team members you pass in the halls. A special mention goes to Carissa, a recent addition to the dining room, who is already proving to be a tremendous asset to the property. We cannot express how much we look forward to seeing so many familiar faces each time we visit. Several team members have left a lasting impression on our experiences over the years: Sherri, James, Amy, and Nancy have all helped define what Thorn Hill means to us, and we are deeply grateful for each of them. They are truly irreplaceable parts of the Thorn Hill experience. Over the years, each of them has come to feel more like a longtime friend than simply a member of the staff, and seeing them again is something we genuinely look forward to every time we return. We are already checking our calendars for the rest of the year to find the next opportunity to return. Thank you all for making every stay so memorable.
