"The Inn itself is lovely. It's located in a part of New Hampshire that is very quaint and picturesque. Nestled in between a ski mountain and cross country ski center, the Inn has small, comfortable rooms that look up towards the ski lifts. The rooms are modestly furnished but clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant is staffed by friendly employees who take the time to ask about your day and interests. For the money I paid to stay at this location, I'd recommend it for any couple on a journey to the White Mountains and aiming to keep within a budget as well."

"Pros: The location is excellent and the hotel's view on the mountain is absolutely good.
Disadvantages: － The waiter who entered the lobby came out sweating and helped us check in, because the hotel is an old house without central air conditioning, and there is a big fan to relieve the heat. I also felt uncomfortable for her. I didn’t expect to become her. There is an old window machine in the room that is opened as if it is not opened. The heat is filled with the room. I want to open the window for ventilation. I didn’t expect that although there are window screens, mosquitoes and bugs are flying all over the sky. I closed the window and spent a long night in the sultry room."

"We stayed at the Inn at Thorn Hill from December 22nd to 24th, and the experience was absolutely magical. Everything was perfect, the beautiful, cozy room, the outstanding food, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The service was exceptional, and the host made us feel truly cared for with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. It was a peaceful, luxurious stay and one we will always remember. Highly recommended, we can’t wait to return."

The apartment has been totally remodeled with new hardwood floors, kitchen, bathroom, living room and deck. The apartment also includes TV and WIFI. Within five minutes of the apartment, you will find the Wild & Scenic Wildcat River and some of the finest restaurants in Mount Washington Valley. Some of New Hampshire's best winter and summer attractions are within a short 15 minute ride of this lovely tranquil location. If you're a couple or a single person looking for peace, hiking, shopping and a touch of New Hampshire mountain life, you have found the perfect location for a relaxing stay. During the warmer days, relax and grill out on the large deck overlooking the abutting Forest and White Mountains. 6 twin beds (3 bunks), 2 full beds (1 bunk) and a master with a King. Come enjoy!
As your drive up our private dead-end road, your vacation will begin. Our home is set at the end of the road and our backyard is New Hampshire National Forest that offers pure tranquillity. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your rustic yet sophisticated abode. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
IMPORTANT: Please note that the house is set off the beaten path and up some pretty wild roads. Your car will be required to have four-wheel-drive in the winter or you will most definitely get stuck coming down our road. Please plan accordingly and only bring four-wheel-drive vehicles in the winter months. Parking is located at the top of the driveway, you should NOT pull down it during any season. Thank you!
We do plow the upper part of the driveway in order for you to park your car. Our plow service will also shovel a narrow path whenever he arrives; however, we do not have a guaranteed shoveling service that goes from the car to the front door upon arrival/departure. This means you may need to shovel your way to the front door so we recommend packing a shovel!

-This property features a starter set of supplies for guests which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, & hand soap. If you are staying for an extended amount of time, we recommended purchasing additional supplies!
-The beds are fully made & ready for your arrival with freshly laundered linens.
-Visiting like a local means being neighborly. Please be respectful of the owner's home and considerate of the neighbors at all times.

This modern and attractive log cabin sits high on Black Mountain (Ck out photo of location), Jackson NH. It’s surrounded by the privacy of the White Mountain National Forest. It has the feel of being in the wilderness, but minutes to civilization. On a clear night step outside and shut off the lights, you can almost touch the stars, and hear a pin drop. The privacy and spectacular views truly add to this great log cabin. Surrounded by Nat Forest and large tracts of private land with conservation easements the wildlife abounds. The interior is handsomely furnished, 2 bedrooms, and loft sleeps 6. A granite countered kitchen which is fully equipped - garlic press to wine glasses. Wood stove fireplace is in main open concept common room area adjacent to dining, and living room areas. The lower walkout level contains a finished recreation room with flat screen/DVD, there is a large film selection.The cell signal is strong , and internet can be accessed on laptop through hot spot on cell. This Magnificent Hideaway is on The White Mtn National Forest Trail System - Bald Land Trail, East Pasture Loop, and Black Mtn Cabin trails all connect to the Federal trails. A 5 minute ride to Jackson Village, offers some top notch restaurants and taverns all family friendly. There are 2 public golf courses in town. Swimming at Jackson Falls is a treat along with many other options. The Ellis and Wildcat rivers offers excellent fly fishing only designated areas and plenty of places for worm & bobber. People have chosen Jackson for their vacation destination since the 1800’s,and for many good reasons. The town of North Conway is a 20 min ride- tax free shopping and plenty of taverns & restaurants.
