Hotel is clean and accessible. They are currently renovating so there was an issue with hot water and water pressure. They had a sign out that if this would be an issue, they would refund you but after a long day of traveling, I was too tired to find another hotel.

Everything was good just had no hot water, did not address it while I was there because I was in and out of doctor’s appointments all day and was too tired to worry about it. Staff was extremely friendly especially the night time front attendant.

I booked this hotel as it was right off the highway and near the Everbank Stadium as I was in Jacksonville for a concert. I booked this hotel for two nights, Friday and Saturday. I arrived at the hotel at approximately 10:30PM, and upon entering my room it smelt very damp, and felt a little humid. I attempted to turn the AC on as it was a unit near the window and was unsuccessful. I returned back to the Front Desk to notify them of this issue, and they informed me that the hotel was sold out, and that they would be sending maintenance to my room. The employees for maintenance did not give me the "Hilton" experience, and neither one of them were wearing any nametags and we're wearing your regular everyday clothes with one of them just wearing a graphic-design hoodie. The AC was able to be fixed, which yes was fine. But upon me and the other person traveling with me kept going throughout the room we did not feel comfortable staying in this room. We found that the floors were damp, there was a stain on the box-spring, the TV would not work, the shower had not been cleaned, and there was a crack in the ceiling above the shower. I returned back to the Front Desk, and expressed my concerns with the Front Desk Agent and to see what could be done and all they could say was "You would only be able to speak with a manager tomorrow." and was informed that maintenance had left for the day. I returned back to the room again and found one of the last hotels available for two nights with Marriott. I went down to the Front Desk and told them I was leaving and if they could make notes on my reservation as I would be expecting a full refund as I was not staying there. The Front Desk Agent repeatedly said, "What do you mean?" when I would ask to place notes. The Front Desk Agent did not take the liberty to check-out my room, so when I called back the next day to speak with a manager, they still had me in the system staying there when I was 25 minutes away at a different hotel. This led for them not being able to refund me for the one-night when I did not even stay at the hotel. All that they could do for me would be 2,000 Hilton Honors Points, which I felt as it was not a proper compensation for my experience which in total, I was there for about an hour, leaving around 11:30PM to travel to the other hotel. All in all, this is the worst experience staying at a Hilton property and typically I only stay at Hilton's based off of my great experiences. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a hotel near Jacksonville.

We went to Jacksonville and stayed at the Bay Meadows Hampton Inn. The hotel was excellent and located 10 minutes from UNF (University of North Florida). Our family travelled there for a college campus visit.

Overall stay was comfortable and suitable to my needs. Pros: Services was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Location was good, close to restaurants, stores, groceries, etc. Cons: Not being used to Florida water, I could not stomach the sulfur smell - the whole hallway and bathroom reeked of it. The carpet had some questionable stains and the shower water took 10min to heat up and only stayed hot for 1-2 min at a time.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip last week. Check-in was fine. I got a room on the 5th floor all the way at the end of the hallway next to the laundry room which wasn't great. My main issue was the first night there was no hot water so I took a cold shower. I let the manager on duty know in the morning that my hot water wasn't working and finally requested to move rooms he insured me that I would be moved however that did not happen. I spent my second night in the room with no hot water again this time not showering because it was freezing cold. Finally the morning of day 3 they moved me into a different room which had warm water at best. There's only two things I expect from a hotel and that's a clean bed and a hot shower they failed on 50% and offered me nothing for the incredibly uncomfortable stay. I won't be returning to this Hampton Inn
