Courtyard Jacksonville at the Mayo Clinic Campus/Beaches

Excellent location, super clean and comfortable

Close to Mayo Clinic

This hotel is worn out & dirty. One of the two elevators is out of service leaving a long wait time for everyone. The room had stains everywhere including the ceiling. The bathtub/shower combo is a fall hazard and very slippery. The drain in the bathtub was missing and gross. The A/C control broke and they installed a wall unit making any use of the tiny balcony impossible due to the hot air blowing on you. Very disappointing experience.

Good convenient location to Mayo

We highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Jacksonville or the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. Parking was no problem. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to this area.

We had a great stay at this Courtyard. It’s a very short walk to the Mayo Clinic, the staff was great, rooms were clean, and the grounds are well kept. Rafael at the front desk was kind and accommodating.

Excellent and attentive staff

Incredibly convenient to Mayo Clinic. Extremely expensive for the grade and condition of the property. Lady at the front desk was dismissive and acted like I was a bother when simply trying to check in (2/7/24 3pm eastern). The limited dining staff was outstanding and the food surprisingly good. After dinner, my wife stopped by a small table where guests could make themselves a hot chocolate. Water and marshmallows were there but the hot chocolate mix (container) was empty. My wife managed to be unfortunate enough to question the same front desk employee about getting more mix. The lady was wiping her mouth from presumably having a bite to eat (at the front desk?). She snapped back at my wife and said "it'll get refilled in a while". There were two people behind the desk and no customers being helped at the time. We soent the $350 for one night because of an early morning appointment at Mayo. But at this price point Marriott is taking advantage of people who need to be close to the clinic. It's not a beach resort. It's a lower, mid-level hotel at best with higher mid-level food and beverage staff and service. At this price point I can spend a night on the beach or in a major city. Very disappointed, but it was necessary for the moment. Not recommended.
