Stayed here before and it was nice. I’m guessing based off the remodeling and everything they aren’t showing the rooms as much attention. The 2nd floor lobby by elevators had lights flickering and ice and vending was ripped apart due to construction. Stains and hair on bed. I’m very upset that my stay wasn’t as good as last time. Disappointed.

The cleanliness of the room is not bad. The quality of this hotel brand is still considered stable. The price/performance ratio of this stay is not bad, but if you live here, it is best to drive by yourself, otherwise it will be difficult to find and get out.

Loved my stay here! The room looks nicely renovated, the bed is amazing. Loved the bath products and TV with streaming options. Hotel offers pantry (sort of a mini-lounge) for select elite members with variety of snacks, beverages etc. Coffee was fantastic in the morning! Loved the fitness center and the pool as well. The hotel is located in a nice, safe, walkable area. Town Center with shops and restaraunts is a very short drive away. The Delta Deerwood may be the new star among Jacksonville hotels!

While the hotel was relatively pleasant there was frequent noise. There was 24 hour noise from the nearby storage room, noisy housekeepers, building renovation starting relatively early in the morning (one morning we were woken up by jackhammers) water was turned off for a couple of hours on one day and interruption in TV service on another day. All staff were very helpful, however.

The lobby was under construction, that plays a role. The continental breakfast was just bad not much to offer. The bed was comfortable, slept like a rock. The shower was good, nice water pressure. The pool looked nice but we did not go in. Overall a nice place.
