Hotel Sitasharan

It's centrally located, walkable 5 min distance from the historic and famous Janaki Mandir. Rooms are small for the price. Bathroom clean but small and cramped. WiFi was working, AC worked fine, I stayed in the room 203, second floor. Doesn't have lift. Just basic amenities are provided in room.. Smooth check in, friendly staff Restaurant service is very slow. Expired canned and bottled juice was kept in the fridge for service which looks a serious issue to be looked into and corrected from immediate effect.

probably the best option to stay in Janakpur, quiet and just about perfect location, away from the hustles and bustles of the noisy city, good facilities, nice restaurant, clean rooms with attached bath, fresh linens, toiletries and dental kit in the rooms, working AC, hot water , hospitality typical of the place. overall good experience!!!

I went today to sitasaran restaurant at kadam chowk with my family. They showed us way to a very poorly maintained space. I asked them is this your restaurant space? They said “cabin is full, this is our restaurant”. There was a counter, three couch, a basin and a doorway to their kitchen. It is a very uncomfortable and poor environment as a restaurant. The food was average and prices are expensive for such food and service. I would never go there again!! I am embarrassed as somebody from janakpur to be treated such in a so called renowned restaurant in janakpur. I wonder how they treat tourists?!
