The room is a bit small and the water is salty. If you live on the second floor, you have to carry your suitcase upstairs. The view is good and quiet. There is free boating for one hour every day. There is a free coffee bar. The restaurant is small and you must make a reservation. Otherwise, you can drive to the town.

We booked this hotel with the hopes to experience Jasper National Park in comfort and luxury in support from Pyramid Lakes Resort as our spot to rest and relax. Unfortunately, our experience at the resort was not restful. Upon heading to bed after 4 hours of driving from Edmonton after a 3 hour plane ride, we were awoken at 2am to the AC unit making an obnoxious noise. After waiting about 5 minutes, the noise subsided and we headed back to sleep thinking nothing of it. That was until… the noise from the AC unit (even when turned off) went on until 5am sporadically and obnoxiously. We attempted to call the front desk to resolve our issue, and they simply said “we’re sorry for the inconvenience, let’s see what we can do” and never got a call in return the rest of the night. In hopes to rest and recover, we slept in on vacation the following day and were awoken by a wake up call forcing us to leave our room stating “check out for all rooms is at 11am” with no apology or sincerity included in the message. Jasper is beautiful and breathtaking as is Pyramid Lake. The resort however, did not live up to its standards. Our hope is management will reach out to resolve this.

It is a 3 stars hotel which charges as 4 star but actually is a 2 stars. Location is very good near the lake and the restaurant over looking the lake were the only good things can say about the hotel. The room although was large was dark and shabby. Ths bathroom very small. No cleaning of the room in middle of stay.

Ce lodge sait parfaitement allier à la fois luxe et nature. Les chambres sont superbes avec une vue directe sur le lac (même la salle de bain donne vue sur le lac !). Situé à 7 minutes de la ville de Jasper, parfait pour y prendre ses repas notamment. Possibilité d'avoir un fireplace à l'intérieur de la chambre pour une ambiance cozy et romantique.

We spent one night here, the staff all very friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and warm with nice shower, slow internet but working. Good spa and dock over lake to sit and relax. Only downside lamb dish in restaurant , great views in restaurant, my husbands dish of salmon was very nice, but my lamb had a very strong rub on the outside which not only completely masked the taste of the lamb but just wasn’t nice. The gravy also made with the same seasoning, same taste, disappointing. Do recommend this place overall, just don’t eat the lamb unless you like strong taste of something different!

We just spent 4 nights here and loved everything about it. Stayed in the Founder’s room with fireplace, which also has a gas fire pit on the balcony that we enjoyed most evenings. The elk would graze right below us and we even watched a grizzly walk by! The property was peaceful and tranquil compared to other options in the area, which was perfect. You’re very close to downtown, but far enough away from the tourist crush. The room itself was on the small side, but was perfect for us and had all the needed amenities. We also had a ton of hiking gear, so maybe that took up a lot of space! Everything was clean and new, bed and pillows were comfortable (and I’m picky). We had a view of the lake and were steps off of the Pyramid Lake hiking trail, which is wonderful. The staff was brilliant and helpful. We didn’t eat at the restaurant onsite, so cannot speak to that. If I was super critical, I would say that it is time to replace the dumbbells in the fitness room. :) Otherwise, we were both very sad to leave and would highly recommend!
