I stayed at the David Citadel for a mix of business and pleasure, and the hotel absolutely lived up to its reputation. The rooms, location, and amenities are excellent, but what truly set this visit apart was the concierge team, especially Ilan. I’ve stayed in many excellent hotels over the years and have worked with some very good concierges, but Ilan genuinely stands out. He combines warmth, professionalism, and a deep understanding of Jerusalem in a way that elevated my entire stay. He arranged restaurant reservations that were otherwise impossible to get, organized reliable cars and drivers for both business meetings and touring, and offered thoughtful local guidance that only someone with real experience can provide. When I needed to change rooms due to scheduling, he handled it immediately and smoothly, removing any stress from the situation. Throughout the visit he checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect, always in a sincere and unobtrusive way. His attention and care turned a very good stay into an exceptional one. The David Citadel is a top tier hotel on its own, but Ilan’s concierge service brings it to another level. I highly recommend connecting with him early in your stay.

Here’s a polished, warm review you can use: ⸻ We had a wonderful experience at the breakfast buffet, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Said. He was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. Not only did he make sure we had everything we needed, but he also went out of his way to share helpful travel advice about Jerusalem. His recommendations were spot-on and made our visit even more memorable. It’s rare to find someone who brings such kindness and enthusiasm to their work. We truly appreciated his service and the extra care he showed. Highly recommend!

As a vegan vegetarian, I can share that I am very pleased with the quality, selection, and tastiness of the breakfast buffet which was included with the room. Each day we were served by Said. His friendly attention to my wife and me helped make our breakfasts delightful. As a note, we stayed four days at the David Citadel Hotel.

We just stayed in the David Citadel for 6 days. We have been back many times and each time we can't wait to come back! The concierge llan took care of every detail of our stay. He made it exponentially better. His restaurant recommendations were excellent and any place we went to that he made us the reservation we got VIP service. From on the house dishes, to extra care and attention. We realized this only happened to us in places where llan made us the reservation. Lesson learned :) Thanks llan and the staff of the David Citadel for an incredible trip. We cant wait to be back!
