The first stop in Guizhou was Mount Fanjing. What impressed me the most was the enthusiasm of Guizhou people. The boss called in advance to inquire. The breakfast was delicious and arranged to be sent to the scenic spot. Raincoats and gloves were prepared in advance. A glass of cold watermelon juice was even more refreshing after going down the mountain... The location and environment of the hotel are even more outstanding. It is very close to the scenic spot and can be reached on foot. The creek in front of the door is also a scenery of its own. The cracked wall is recommended! ! !

Stay here! Customer service is unparalleled. Every front desk employee goes out of her-his way to help facilitate with tea drinking, laundry services, taxi calls, etc. Lobby is amazing spot with a tea shop area, coffeehouse segment, library/movie theater and dining area. Rooms are wonderfully well appointed, with extra large bathroom and fantastically large waterfall shower. Bed is super comfy. I recommend the third floor. Great outdoor patio for drying clothing and shoes. Ideal location for runners/hikers/cyclists. Directly across street is a river with nice boardwalk. Folks swim here, as well. Just about two kilometers out is perhaps the most amazing paved road running course in the world. Follow it way, way out as it stretches into the mountains and farmland areas. Incredible. Hotel is about 20-22km from main entrance to Fanjingshan. However, no big deal taking a taxi there. It’s more than worth it to experience hotel here, surroundings in town and beyond, and also visit park. I recommend at least 3 nights here. Many restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance. Most difficult part is leaving this place…Highly recommended!

The room is clean and has everything you need. Comfy bed with decent movies choices, a toilet and shower that aren't totally transparent. The location is pretty far from Fanjingshan though, you have to get an early bus or pay a 80rmb taxi to the east gate. We went to the west gate which cost us 400rmb but that is far away from everything. I'd suggest staying in one of the villages around the east gate for around the same price and save yourself the hassle of getting up and getting to the gate on time to buy a ticket (foreigners can't book tickets online and they sell out fast)

Dinner can be eaten in the hotel, or you can go to the snack street one kilometer away. The boss even recommends some restaurants on the snack street. However, we are too lazy. The hotel can eat some home-cooked dishes. Breakfast also has porridge noodles and eggs. The price Not expensive. The vacant star room we live in is too quiet, next to the mountains and forests, so I slept until dawn. Later, when we arrived in Phoenix, we discovered that the hat was forgotten in the lobby of the hotel, and asked the boss to send it home.
