"Extremely satisfied with this hotel! First off, it's super close to the scenic area entrance. Just cross a covered bridge from the hotel's backyard, and you're practically there. Plus, there's a whole street of restaurants right nearby. The hotel itself feels like a little attraction, they even have peacocks! Our room had a small balcony with a really pleasant view. Breakfast was great too, and they even brought an extra one for the kids. We were also able to get a late checkout until 2 PM."

"Bringing my family to Fanjingshan and staying here was incredibly convenient and worry-free. The owner was super helpful, carrying our luggage to the room and even telling us where the scenic area shuttle bus was. The free shuttle service to and from the East Gate was a huge plus. Upon check-in, we received postcards and a climbing guide. They specifically pointed us to a less strenuous path for Red Cloud Golden Summit, saving us a lot of walking. The village scenery is beautiful, and the local farmhouse restaurant downstairs serves authentic food. Everything from dining to accommodation and transportation was well-arranged. The service was genuinely attentive, and the hygiene was also very good. My whole family was satisfied, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting for a hike."

The lobby staff were very welcoming, and they offer a free shuttle service for guests visiting Mount Fanjing (by advance booking). We booked a twin room with a balcony (which seemed convenient for those who smoke). The room was very clean. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was sufficient for basic needs."

"A few days before arrival, I requested contact via wechat through Trip.com and got a response from the B & B. From our first contact, the B & B was so helpful in answering my queries and putting my mind at rest. They recommended getting a taxi or DIDI from the train station. I used the DIDI App and took a DIDI from the station to the B & B. It took us an hour 20 minutes and I was in constant communication with the B & B. Upon arrival, a male staff (feels like the owner) approached to greet me and take my luggage. The B & B had a very calm atmosphere as you walk through the serene garden and the pool on the right hand side. The B & B only opened last year (2025) and it looks very stylish and modern with clean lines. The male staff who greeted me when I first arrived was very helpful throughout my stay and we communicated mostly by wechat. His son was also very adorable who hung out in the lobby. Breakfast was simple but filling and it came with the room I stayed in. I would highly recommend this B & B as it is the best in the area and just looking around would support that."

"I traveled alone to Tongren for the Spring Festival, expecting it to be a bit lonely, but I unexpectedly encountered the warmest New Year's Eve at Huazhu Homestay. The landlady, seeing I was staying alone, warmly invited me to have New Year's Eve dinner with her. A table full of authentic Tongren dishes, along with fragrant baijiu from Maotai Town, filled the air with the joy of sharing a meal. It truly felt like celebrating the New Year at relatives' home. This unexpected kindness was more touching than any scenery. The next day, I went to Fanjingshan. The landlady meticulously consulted me about the day's activities and explained the route, even more detailed than a travel guide. In the morning, Aunt Xiang cooked breakfast fresh, and the local specialty rice noodles warmed me from head to toe. Returning in the evening, a charcoal fire was lit on the first floor of the homestay, where we could gather around to brew tea and chat—the crackling charcoal, the fragrant tea, the unfamiliar night outside the window, and the warmth of family all around. The landlady is beautiful inside and out, providing meticulous and professional service. This homestay wasn't just a place to stay; it felt like home in Tongren. Next time I come, I'll definitely stay here again!"

"The guesthouse room was new, and the surrounding environment was quite nice with its small bridges and streams. The courtyard had many withered potted plants. However, the room was surprisingly cold, as if it hadn't been used in a long time. It was freezing cold; all the facilities were icy. I slept in my clothes all night and still felt cold! The guesthouse didn't have a restaurant. The receptionist mentioned a restaurant nearby with gastrodia elata chicken within walking distance, but we had to drive there to eat. We didn't receive a room upgrade despite our Ctrip Gold Diamond membership. We didn't see any other guests at the guesthouse. After a long day of travel, without a good meal or comfortable accommodation, the experience was really just so-so."

The boss is very nice to talk to and provides pick-up and drop-off at the tourist center, bus station, entrance to the scenic spot, and Zhaisha Dong Village, which is very convenient. The surrounding environment of the room was quite nice, but the soundproofing was terrible; there were constant sounds of doors closing and children making noise in the hallway. There was a free late-night snack, but the restaurant lights were off, so we could only eat in the lobby. There were no waiters, and it felt like chickens were being fed in cages, with guests grabbing what was served."

The entrance for the Fanjingshan mountain is a few minutes drive and our host and her husband drove us to the place and picked us up for free. Our host are very sweet, accomodating and very helpful. They made us feel very welcomed. On our check out, they even escorted us to the place where the taxi was picking us up. They sent us off like a family member, talked to the driver to make sure we will be taken cared of. They were always smiling and ready to assist you. We really enjoyed our stay here because of their hospitality. The room we stayed in is clean and well kept too. The scenic attraction - the Fanjingshan mountain is amazing! All in all our trip at Fanjingshan was very memorable and we highly recommend staying Fanjingshan Weijianjingqi Homestay when you visit the place."
