Jianshui Xishe Yunyuan

I've been to Jianshui three times now. This time, my friends and I traveled from Shanghai to Kunming, then from Kunming to Mile, and finally to Jianshui. We originally planned to go to Mengzi, but Xisheyun Guesthouse kept us there. We booked two days and then added another day. This guesthouse is a little far from the old town, but Jianshui isn't very big; a Didi ride costs about 10 yuan. Stepping into Xisheyun felt like home. The owner's landscaping is clearly professional; every corner is picturesque. I was even lucky enough to join the owner at a Torch Festival in a Yi village. The owner's wife also paid great attention to hygiene. The mattresses in the room were 30cm high, and disposable towels and wipes were readily available. The room was clean and odor-free. It's the best guesthouse I've stayed in in recent years, comparable to a five-star hotel, but with a much warmer, more welcoming atmosphere. We cooked dinner at the guesthouse, and the owners even added extra dishes for us. The owner also brought out some good wine to chat and drink with us. The breakfast at the guesthouse was also plentiful; the rice noodle soup was made with bone broth, and fruit was always available in the garden resting area for guests. I've written quite a lot without realizing it. I'll come back to Xisheyun again next time I have the chance. I hope the owners will always maintain their high standards.
