"I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!"

"During the May Day trip in Jianshui, I chose this hotel on Ctrip to stay. It was really a very wise choice! The location of the hotel is simply great. It is located in the center of Jianshui County, facing the Yongzhen Gate of the ancient city of Jianshui with a long history. Every day, you can see the magnificent scenery of the ancient city by opening the window, especially the night view, which is simply beautiful and can be called a must! The service attitude of Xiao Yao and Xiao Chen at the front desk is really super good, enthusiastic and warm, making people feel at home. What touched me even more was that they specially prepared cute dinosaur pillows for our two children. The children loved them and hugged them all the way, so happy! The hotel rooms are also beyond imagination. The hardware and software facilities are very good, and the bedding is very comfortable, which makes people sleep well all night. Every morning when I wake up, I can see the beautiful scenery of the ancient city through the window, and my mood becomes particularly happy. The breakfast is also worthy of great praise! The hotel's breakfast dishes are very rich, from traditional Chinese breakfast to Western desserts, and the dining environment is also very elegant and comfortable. The service staff is also very warm and thoughtful, always serving us with a smile, which makes people feel very warm. The transportation is also very convenient, whether it is self-driving or taking public transportation. "Su Yin has two locations in the ancient city, but this one is my favorite. It perfectly captures the Chinese aesthetic I love, with a delightful sense of a secluded, traditional courtyard. It's said to have been reinforced and renovated from an old, historic building. The pillows were excellent and very comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise for someone like me with neck problems. My only minor query is why the bed was designed so high (it felt like 80 cm!). If you're a bit on the shorter side, you'd literally have to climb into it. Oh, and I absolutely must commend the manager! He was busy attending to various issues in my room late into the night. My sincere thanks for all his hard work!"

"I arrived at the youth hostel at around 9pm. I booked it immediately after seeing the room. The room was clean and comfortable, well ventilated, and both the room and the bathroom had windows. The bedding was also clean, and the room was quite large. There was a large platform on the top floor, which was very comfortable to sit and enjoy the breeze at night. I will stay at this youth hostel again next time I go to Jianshui. The boss was also very nice. I didn't eat after arriving, so he recommended Lao Er BBQ nearby. I couldn't find it on the map, but it was delicious!"
