Jiangyu Riverview·First-line Riverview Hot Spring Hotel

This was by far my favorite hotel in Xishuangbanna! The river view was fantastic, and the hotel amenities were incredibly complete. The first floor has a children's play area, and there are lounge chairs by the entrance facing the river, perfect for enjoying the breeze. The outdoor pool is also super clean! The pool area is decorated with a great resort vibe, making it very photogenic. It's only a few hundred meters walk to the Starlight Night Market, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient! The hotel's buffet breakfast was also excellent! The freshly made Dai-style rice noodles were absolutely delicious. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xishuangbanna!

Our second night in Xishuangbanna, we stayed at the Jiangyu Riverview by the Lancang River. The infinity pool immediately caught my eye. It's located within Gaozhuang, just a few minutes' walk from the Starlight Night Market. Upon arrival, staff helped with our luggage. The room included welcome fruits and the hotel's homemade cold brew tea, plus a complimentary minibar. The decor throughout is in a Southeast Asian style, with smart voice control for the entire room. You can control the lights and curtains with just a shout, and in the evening, you can enjoy the night view across the river, which is incredibly relaxing. The breakfast selection is also very rich. You must try the Dai-style rice noodles! There are also freshly squeezed tropical fruit juices, sausages, salads, bread, and coffee. Enjoying breakfast by the window with the river view is truly delightful.

Had a wonderful stay in Xishuangbanna this time. The room decor was unique and stylish, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, making for a very relaxing experience. The river view from the window was fantastic, with a great view of the bridge in the distance. The cleanliness was also impeccable. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied and the setting was lovely; right outside the breakfast area was a swimming pool, perfect for some amazing sunset photos.

The room's floor-to-ceiling window offers a direct view of the Lancang River, and you can even enjoy the river view from the bathtub! Watching the sunset cast its golden glow on the river in the evening creates an absolutely mesmerizing atmosphere, with the water shimmering beautifully. At night, you can even see cruise ships passing by – it's incredibly therapeutic. The room itself is clean and comfortable, the bedding is super soft, and the bathroom has a luxurious marble finish with a smart mirror that's perfect for photos. The minibar drinks are complimentary, and there are welcome fruits and local Yunnan tea. The infinity pool seamlessly blends with the river view, and the flamingo floats are fantastic for photos. There's also a suspended hammock where you can lie back, soak up the sun, and enjoy the river view – pure relaxation! Breakfast can be enjoyed by the pool, with both Chinese and Western options that are as delicious as they are aesthetically pleasing. The hotel's location near Gaozhuang makes it super convenient to get to the Starlight Night Market.

This hotel is incredibly affordable and truly sits right by the Lancang River. There's an infinity pool on the first floor with stunning views of the river – perfect for photos! I booked the most basic king room, but it was spotless, spacious, bright, and fully equipped. Breakfast is served by the infinity pool, and eating with that river view is so therapeutic! The breakfast spread is diverse, with stir-fries, rice noodles, and salads. Seriously great value for money! So happy 😃

Super convenient for shopping and dining!

The room was very clean, and I was so satisfied with my stay that I wanted to extend it. The view was absolutely stunning; it looked beautiful even without filters. The sunset painted the river an 'orange sea,' and the unedited photos were breathtaking! In the morning, the freshly cooked Dai-style beef rice noodles were incredibly delicious, and paired with tropical fruits and freshly ground coffee, it was the perfect start to the day.

The breakfast was plentiful and the environment was really nice. I loved the infinity pool and the stunning sunset. The drinks and snacks in the fridge, along with the welcome fruit, were all complimentary. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view that really lifted my spirits. The soundproofing was excellent; I woke up feeling completely refreshed, all my travel fatigue gone.

Every corner was perfect for a photoshoot! Especially at sunset, lying on a lounge chair by the pool was just amazing! Location: It's right in the heart of Gaozhuang, close to the Lancang River. It's just a five-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market. Breakfast: A mix of Chinese and Western options, well-balanced and with a wide variety to satisfy different tastes. The best part is that you can have breakfast by the pool, and the ambiance is fantastic! Such a great hotel! I took so many photos!
