Courtyard Hotels in Jiuzhaigou

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Hilton hotel for 3 days two nights very much. The service, food and location of Hilton is excellent. I really appreciated assistant from Hilton staffs Jason and Andy. Jason helped to trace my luggage from the public bus that lost my luggage when I traveled to Hilton hotel. Jason called the driver serval times to follow, locate and negotiate to send the luggage back to me. It eased my problem tremendously. Separately, when I depart Hilton, Andy helped me to reserve a comfortable minibus with reasonable price to take me from Hilton to train station on time. All and all, my experience in Hilton was wonderful.

The hotel Is really close to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Park. The hotel was really good at helping us to get a 6-seater that pick us up from the Zhengjiangguan train station. We also got the driver to bring us to Huanglong below getting to Jiuzhaigou. Having McDonalds right at the front was amazing for our kids who are not a fan of spicy food that the adults love!

The hotel is definitely my choice when I go to Jiuzhaigou again. Most staff, including the young guys who shuttled us between room and front desk/restaurant, were very friendly and helpful. Staff in the breakfast restaurant were all very nice and offered to help. The Concierge manager Jacky Zhang always replied to WeChat requests on a timely basis and made us feel most welcome when saw us in person. We stayed there for 4 nights and some staff recognized us and remembered our room number! They were all super friendly when we chatted with them. On the other hand, staff in the dinner restaurant 炙 are not too helpful or cheerful and need more training to improve the service. The hotel entrance was not always manned including when we arrived. More staff would be needed to ensure timely assistance for arriving guests. Our suite was spacious and at this time of the year could see a snow capped mountain outside the room's windows. The walk-in closet was a bit small relative to the size of the suite, but could accommodate one large open luggage and one small open one. The door of the washroom near the room's entrance was so heavy it was not possible to use that washroom. The nearby walk-in closet door was also super heavy, in any case, once our large luggage is open, that door became jammed by the luggage and could not be open, so we ended up using the entrance from the other side (the bedroom side). A cab ride to the scenic area took 20 minutes and some 42 Reminbi, that saved us the trouble of trying to find a car park at the scenic area where parking spaces were very limited. Many cabs also awaited tourists outside the scenic area when we were finished sight seeing for the day so there was no problem with getting back to the hotel. We dined at the hotel”s dinner restaurant twice and the food was alright though a bit on the high end according to mainland China's standard and for that yet to improve level of service. We were not offered a menu on the first day of buffet breakfast, but on subsequent days we were offered to choose additional items including different egg preparation, congees, noodles, etc. described in the menu. The breakfast restaurant was a bit small so tables were rather near one another, but we went at off peak hours so that was acceptable. There were enough varieties to keep us satisfied but must say not enough varieties for a 5-star hotel; in particular, there was only one type of salad leaf. The bath tub made a loud strange noise after use. We had to unplug from the electric socket to stop the intermitten loud wind blowing noise. That was reported to the front desk when we checked out, but somehow my communication in poor Putongua mixed with English terms was misunderstood by the front desk initially. All in all, I selected Jiuzhaigou Conrad after reviewing the choices carefully, and I still think this is probably the best choice for my needs. Will stay here again next time!

The hotel is located in Ganhaizi outside the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. This hotel is large in scale. It occupies a mountain top. Behind it are towering snow-capped mountains. The design is very unique. I was introduced to it by a friend many years ago. So this trip to Jiuzhaigou. I must choose here. The room has been renovated. It is well maintained. It is very clean and elegant inside. There are nearly 900 rooms in total. There are six restaurants. The main ones open now are a Sichuan restaurant and a ******* yak hot pot. The hotel is about an hour away from the high-speed rail station. It is about half an hour away from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. If you have enough time to visit Jiuzhaigou, it is recommended to stay for more than two days. The hotel is also equipped with a small zoo. The most worthwhile thing is that it has nine hot springs. It is suitable for relaxing your legs and feet after a hard day at night. Hotel housekeeper: Chen Yan is enthusiastic and professional, with excellent service attitude and comfortable accommodation environment. Five-star recommendation. The special car she helped to arrange is very good.

The hotel itself is nice, but what really makes this place stand out is the amazing service! One of the managers- Peter- looked after us exceptionally well and took care of every detail. I think he was awake at 2am and then 5am on several days to make sure we had arrived ok in Chengdu before our transfer to Jiuzhaigou. His recommendations were excellent, and guided us to a beautiful park that was “off the beaten track” where we spent a lovely day avoiding the masses of tourists at Jiuzhaigou. More than the hotel itself, I would recommend Peter, who made sure our vacation was a success!

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The surrounding is lovely, a lot of greenery. The hotel is very new, rooms are clean and spacious. The Breakfast was good, but the menu was repeated the next morning. There is group dance activity in the evening near to the hotel, organized for tourists during holidays. It was exciting to participate in that. 😊😊😊. Service people are helpful. Xena Niu helped us with a lot of useful information before our vacation. It was nice to get a free upgrade to a room with balcony. The manager speaks a little English, the rest doesn’t.

There are apple trees on the way up the mountain, and I also met villagers picking plums. I also experienced picking plums. The room was upgraded for free. There is a pear tree outside the room window. The staff said that you can pick it yourself😄, but the hotel gave welcome fruit, so I didn't experience it. Although the mountain road is winding, but when you reach the top of the mountain and see the sea of ​​clouds, it feels that it is all worth it. No hotel has the beautiful sea of ​​clouds in Banyan Tree. In addition to being hidden, after comparing the prices, Banyan Tree has the highest CP value😆 The front desk Liu Fengyi and Yang Yan are very enthusiastic and gave a cute handbag. I love it😍

Facilities: Complete, although the hotel looks a bit old, the decoration inside the room is still OK Sanitation: Clean and tidy Environment: Two kilometers away from the entrance of Jiuzhaigou, you can take a taxi or walk, next to the parking lot of Jiulu, the through bus is very convenient, and there are many food nearby Service: There is free Tremella soup, many types of breakfast, and barley milk tea, which tastes good

Overall, it is worth the price. I can’t ask for more. The room is clean and the staff is very helpful. There’s many restaurants, milktea and supermarkets nearby, just walk around. There’s also a bus stop in front of the hotel which is 2 stations away from Jiuzhaigou entrance. I would recommend this hotel for budget travellers
