Hotels in Jiuzhaigou

"Getting to the hotel was quite convenient. I took the direct shuttle bus from Songpan High-Speed Rail Station to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area (a nearly 2-hour ride) and got off at the 'Zangwang Yanwu Parking Lot,' from which it was an easy walk to the hotel. I planned to stay two nights to take advantage of the 'second entry into the park' option, but my original booking had two different room types for each night. When I checked in, I asked the front desk if it would be possible to switch to the same room type for both nights, to avoid moving all my belongings. I even mentioned I'd consider paying an extra fee if needed. To my surprise, they upgraded me for free to a courtyard suite with a private hot spring tub! This was a spur-of-the-moment trip, but this hotel was one I had bookmarked long ago when I was first researching potential places to stay. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk to the Jiuzhaigou Tourist Center (ticket office). There's a 'Xiao Zhi Supermarket' and a McDonald's nearby. If you walk further towards Zangwang Yanwu Square, you'll find a concentration of restaurants. The hotel's decor is exactly my style—clean, elegant, and very quiet. I had a wonderful rest."

"We choosed this hotel because they offered drop-off and pick-up services between the hotel and the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. We also considered at previous guests’ reviews and photos of the rooms. Before we arrived, we had already communicated through WeChat, so everything went smoothly. They also informed us about purchasing tickets for the Huanglong scenic area and explained everything very clearly, even though I bought the tickets from someone else. Our journey from Huanglong took about 2 hours, and we arrived at the hotel at 8 p.m. We got a bit lost, but after calling them, four people came out to welcome us. From the outside, the hotel looked quite ordinary, but once we stepped into the terrace… it was unbelievably beautiful. They also have an outdoor area to relax. The hotel lobby is combined with the breakout room; it’s not cramped but not spacious either, yet still beautifully arranged. We went into the room and were shown how to use the facilities. The room was very beautiful, exactly like the photos, with a bathtub right in front of the bed. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, and there’s a work desk, snacks provided, towel amenities, and very nice slippers—everything was good and up to date. They even have a dryer for underwear or socks near the toilet. They also have a warm drinking water dispenser, which we found extremely convenient. There were plenty of power outlets, and the bedside lighting controls were very well set up. We slept very well until the next morning when we were heading to Jiuzhaigou scenic area. Breakfast was served steamed—corn, bread, sweet potatoes, and a bowl of noodles… the breakfast was sooo delicious. After finishing breakfast, we were taken to Jiuzhaigou in a Denza car and informed about evening the pick-up location. Everything was arranged very professionally. When we were done, we contacted the hotel and the car came to pick us up. The location is very strategic, with many places to eat near the hotel, so there’s no need to worry. I am very satisfied and will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go to Jiuzhaigou. The staff are extremely professional, the arrangements are very organized, also helpful. And I would have regretted it if I hadn’t chosen to stay here. Two thumbs up for this hotel."

"The staff is extremely helpful. I arrived the hotel by DiDi but somehow the driver didn’t get pay but my app shown paid already. They help communicated with the driver. And also communicate with the driver that i booked via Trip to pick me up at the hotel for tomorrow. The service mind is excellent!! The hotel is also lovely, the bed is comfy, the heating floor that keep you warm all night, and they have a hot spring on the rooftop. Be sure to bring the swimwear. The distant is walkable to Jiuzhaigou, surrounded by the restaurant. They can keep your luggage after checkout RECOMMENDED."

"Traveling during the off-season is more cost-effective. We stayed for two nights and got a free upgrade to a deluxe twin room. You should definitely ask the front desk for a free upgrade during the off-season. We were four adults and four children, and two twin rooms were just perfect. The air conditioning and heating worked excellently. Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: The surroundings are great, right next to shops and restaurants. Service: Very responsive to all our requests."

"This Holiday Inn Express at the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area has a great environment – it's clean, tidy, and hygienic. The breakfast is also really good; it's perfect to have breakfast before heading into Jiuzhaigou. During the off-season, it offers excellent value for money. The service attitude is also very good, making it a highly recommended hotel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Jiuzhaigou."

"This hotel is absolutely heavenly, nestled right in the scenic area. While the room wasn't huge, it had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom and two large beds, which was more than enough for our family of four. The room was very clean, and they even provided welcome fruits and small drinks, a thoughtful touch. What truly impressed us was the hotel's breakfast; they gave us breakfast vouchers for the kids, and the selection was vast and delicious. On our second night, we dined at the hotel's restaurant, and the food was excellent and surprisingly cheaper than the restaurant we tried in town on our first night. We didn't get to enjoy the hotel's complimentary late-night snacks on either night – the front desk did notify us to book in advance – but we were simply too full from dinner to even think about more food. All in all, this hotel truly comes highly recommended!"

"This hotel offers great value for money. There are plenty of dining options nearby in the evening, and it's very close to Zao Yanwu, the pick-up point for the direct shuttle bus. Upon arrival, the front desk was incredibly friendly and shared tips on how to explore Jiuzhaigou, along with providing a map. With heating and an electric blanket, the stay was very comfortable."

"The JI Hotel is probably the best-located hotel at the entrance to Jiuzhaigou Valley, which is why it's often sold out. Downstairs, it has a Starbucks, a high-speed rail direct shuttle bus stop, KFC, and another Starbucks and Luckin Coffee, all centrally located in the Zangwang Yanwu Plaza. It's also very close to the valley entrance's ticket office, less than a ten-minute walk away. Since it's a new hotel from 2023, the facilities are incredibly new – it's the best JI Hotel I've ever stayed in. The amenities are comprehensive and responsive to every need, and the front desk staff are also very warm and attentive. The breakfast was the best I've had these past few days, even better than the chain breakfast at other JI Hotels (like the one near the China Academy of Art in West Lake). That's why the hotel hosts many guests from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Singapore. No wonder you need to book several days in advance, even during the off-season, just to get a room."

"This hotel is very nice and very good location. It’s near Jiuzhaigou by walk and close to delicious restaurants and coffee shop. The room is very good, clean and no smoking smell. The butler thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning in advance and arranged for us to stay in a room with the best view of the hot spring, for which we are very grateful. The service staff were incredibly warm and friendly, so much so that we extended our stay because of them. The decor perfectly complements the winter chill, striking just the right balance. This hotel boasts a rooftop leisure area with free self-service coffee and tea, an infinity hot spring, and even craft activities. It's ideal for an afternoon arrival if you're driving, ensuring you won't be bored. In the evening, delicious and sweet fruits were delivered to our room, which was fantastic – soaking and snacking was incredibly pleasant. If you're traveling with children, there's no need to worry as the hotel provides kids' amenities. On the second day, the hotel offers a shuttle service to attractions; just book in advance. During the off-season, there are two time slots, and the butler proactively asked if we needed it. A good accommodation truly adds a lot to the travel experience."
