We absolutely loved our night at the Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome-kind, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. Their warmth set the tone for a perfect stay.
Our room was a dream: spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the linens felt fresh and crisp, and there was plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. It’s the kind of space that instantly puts you at ease.
And then there’s the surprise that makes this place unforgettable—their charming little zoo! We were delighted to wander outside and find deer gracefully roaming, a curious ostrich adding a playful touch, and three adorable dogs who absolutely stole our hearts. It’s unique, joyful, and perfect for both families and anyone who loves a bit of nature and personality with their stay.
If you’re heading to the astounding Jiuzhai Valley National Park, this place makes the adventure even more special. The park’s dreamlike scenery-mirror‑clear lakes in shades of turquoise, terraced mineral pools, cascading waterfalls, and ever‑changing forests left us in awe. After a day of wandering boardwalks and soaking in those views, coming back to the serenity of “Between the trees and streams” felt perfect. The name truly fits the vibe.

AAnonymous UserBecause staying inside the Jiuzhaigou scenic area can be quite expensive due to high demand, we opted to stay in the nearby town instead—about a 30-minute drive away—and chose Ji Hotel.
When we arrived, I wasn’t feeling well due to period cramps, and one of the male staff noticed. He quickly brought hot water and checked in on me. That small gesture made me feel very cared for—I instantly had a good impression of their service.
The room we were assigned was surprisingly spacious—three of us could open our large suitcases at the same time and still move around comfortably. Cleanliness was great, I had no complaints. The only downside was the lighting in the room—not ideal for girls who need to do makeup, quite dim and yellowish.
They also have a self-service laundry room with detergent provided, completely free to use, which was super convenient for travellers.
As for breakfast, I didn’t have high expectations since many hotels in China tend to serve quite simple breakfast buffets. But Ji Hotel actually surprised us with a good variety of dishes—it genuinely felt worthy of the price. Also, there isn’t much around the hotel in terms of food, and hygiene can be a concern (we had dinner nearby and I ended up with diarrhoea 🥲). So honestly, I highly recommend eating the hotel breakfast, especially if you’re planning to walk several kilometres in the high-altitude scenic area. Good energy starts with a good breakfast!
Overall — very satisfied with the stay. Comfortable, convenient, good service, and great value for money. ✨

YYiyunenaniiThe setting is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. There are also many activities available, such as trying on traditional ******* clothing for photoshoots and horseback riding. We were even incredibly lucky to witness a double rainbow on the day we checked in! The service was outstanding; they arranged for a driver to take us to and from the town whenever we needed. On our departure day, we had an early high-speed train and wouldn't have time for breakfast, but one of the lovely hotel staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take on the go. And the photo opportunities by the pond were absolutely stunning!

MM513779****The hotel is tucked away in a lively area, yet offers a peaceful retreat. We stayed in a suite on the third floor, which was very spacious with beautiful views from the window. The service was excellent; every staff member was friendly, and anything we needed was delivered incredibly fast. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were great, and having a Starbucks option was a nice bonus.
The only issue we encountered was related to the bedding. The hotel thoughtfully provided three sets of toiletries and slippers, anticipating that most suite guests would be families. However, there was only one 1.8-meter bed, which wasn't suitable for sleeping with a young child. We had to request an extra bed, but the mattress was uncomfortable. When we brought this to the hotel's attention, they responded very promptly and handled it exceptionally well, which we greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the two front desk managers (one male, one female – I was in too much of a hurry to catch their names). I hope the hotel can improve on this aspect in the future. Since they already expect families in suites, it would be ideal to provide a small sofa bed. We wouldn't mind paying an extra bed fee, but the mattress should be comfortable to avoid impacting the overall stay experience.
The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, with three free prints. Both the makeup artist and photographer were professional and friendly. We were on a tight schedule, so they finished everything within two hours, and we were very happy with the photos. We ended up purchasing a package to take home. I highly recommend it to anyone with more time during their stay.

The room was even cozier than in the pictures, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were of excellent quality. I have to commend the room service; their response time was incredibly prompt. When checking out, they even proactively asked for feedback on my stay and helped with my luggage. I've already recommended this place to friends, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

__WB21381****Facilities: The hot water from the faucet was a bit slow to come on. Other than that, everything you'd expect was there. The dryer in the laundry room was constantly occupied, but luckily I booked for two days, and the dry weather in Jiuzhai helped air-dry my clothes 🤣.
Hygiene: The hygiene situation was a bit concerning, and I've already provided feedback to the hotel, so hopefully, there will be improvements.
Service: The hotel service was pretty good. They greeted us with smiles, and our room came with three breakfasts. Since there were two adults and two children, they even provided an extra breakfast. However, the hotel doesn't offer transportation to the Jiuzhaigou entrance, so you'll need to take a taxi, which costs about 15 yuan.
Environment: There are plenty of good restaurants nearby that you can try.

MM225837****This hotel in Vienna was recommended by friends who had traveled here before, so I didn't look at any other options. The service was absolutely top-notch, couldn't fault it. However, the room's facilities weren't great; the air conditioning wasn't working, and even after someone came to fix it in the middle of the night, it still didn't get resolved. The staff were very accommodating though, actively communicating and arranging a room change, which solved the issue the next day. Breakfast offered a decent variety. Dinner was à la carte, and the braised yak beef was delicious. There's a shuttle service to the entrance of the gorge, and the hotel helps arrange transportation to the high-speed rail station, which was quite convenient.

SSusuYANGA holiday should be about breaking free from the conventional, and I much prefer raw, authentic experiences. Staying here, all my worries instantly melted away, and both my body and mind reconnected with their true, original selves, allowing for a deeper focus on my inner peace.
My mornings weren't woken by an alarm clock or the din of city traffic, but by the gentle neighing of horses right outside my window. Stepping out, I was greeted by horses and wild rabbits, all coexisting peacefully without bothering anyone.
The staff's service was truly personalized and attentive, a refreshing change from the generic, 'by-the-book' service you often encounter. While everyone's needs and feelings are different, and a one-size-fits-all approach simply doesn't work, I personally had a fantastic experience. It truly depends on what you're looking for in a stay; for me, what I particularly cherished here was the immersive nature, the profound relaxation, and the sheer tranquility.

AAnonymous UserThe pros: They contacted me in advance to tell me how to get there, the lobby is beautiful, and there's central heating, so it's warm as soon as you enter the room. The location is great, right by the Songcheng Scenic Area, with lots of restaurants nearby.
The cons: The room facilities are very basic. Some switches are not sensitive, and the soft furnishings have scuffs and haven't been maintained. The worst part is that water from the shower leaks out from under the door, making the bathroom floor all wet. The breakfast selection is also limited. They offer a shuttle service to the scenic area in the morning, but there's only one car, so you have to wait for round trips.
Overall, paying almost 500 yuan for this B&B isn't really worth it; it would be better to book a regular hotel instead.
