"Coming here in mid-winter is not really recommended. The hotel is dark (they do not turn on all the lights in the common area), and with extremely minimal staffing. The room is quite big but the heater is not strong enough so it remains quite cold. The breakfast has a lot of vegetables but nothing tastes good. Cigarette smells line the hallway but the room is ok (I had to change rooms as the first one they gave me was right in front of the cigarette bin and when I told them, the guy at the front desk scolded me for not raising this earlier - i had checked in earlier in the day and ran out almost immediately to make it to the Jiuzhaigou park in time, so did not realize, but he reluctantly did give me a new room and I had to move everything myself). The rooms are very dated and not well cleaned with dusty corners, many water marks on the chrome fixtures and rust as well. On the plus side they did give a snack basket everyday."

"Overall, the room experience was great. The soft furnishings like the bed, toilet, and electric curtains were all very comfortable. It also came with a new washer and dryer, which was super practical (clothes dried overnight, making them easy to pack the next day). The staff were enthusiastic and responsive. The best part was that they arranged a car to take us directly to the scenic spot entrance, and there's also a direct bus stop to the scenic area nearby, making it very convenient to get to the high-speed rail station.
The main downsides were in the bathroom: toiletries were placed on the vanity instead of in the shower area; the bath and face towels weren't in the bathroom, making them inconvenient to grab, and there was no place to hang towels in the shower. The bathroom drainage was poor, and there were no non-slip mats or floor mats, so water would pool during showers, which was not a great experience. I hope they improve this."

"This hotel is such a treasure! When we arrived, the staff was very helpful with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, and the layout was very cozy. From the balcony, we could see the snow-covered mountains in the distance, which was a great view. The snow scenery around the hotel was beautiful, and the trees seemed to be covered with a thick white blanket. The restaurant's meals were also delicious, with local specialties and affordable prices. MM445602****When traveling, I always look for a hotel close to attractions. I chose this one because it's only about a 15-minute walk from the scenic area, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for dinner at night. This should be considered a decent hotel within the scenic area itself; obviously, you can't compare hotels in scenic areas to those in the city. I booked two nights for my trip to Jiuzhaigou, and overall, it was pretty good. The only issue was that the room door sometimes malfunctioned and wouldn't open, so I frequently had to ask the cleaning staff to help me get in, which was a bit of a hassle. I also often saw towels and linens piled up in the hallway. 😓

He was especially helpful in assisting me with my itinerary for the next few days and making sure my hotel bookings made sense, which was a huge help for me as a first-time solo traveler to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. The room had the typical Holiday Inn design and felt very cozy. The breakfast offered a good variety, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh vegetables and the piping hot wontons. What I loved most was its proximity to the Jiuzhaigou tourist center. After a tiring day of exploring, it was such a relief to be able to reach the hotel for a rest in no time. I really feel it offers exceptional value for money.

GGuest UserI had a great time traveling to Jiuzhaigou this time. A big reason for this was the ******* owner of the Jiuzhaigou Jenny Hotel where we stayed, a young and enthusiastic ******* woman. The hotel is a homestay type, with good decoration and complete facilities. The online reviews are very good. Because I paid attention to the reviews, I felt that it was a bit far from the main entrance of Jiuzhaigou when I checked in. I didn't expect the owner to tell us when checking in that we didn't have to worry about the hotel car picking us up and dropping us off at the scenic spots, and told us a detailed comparison map of the best routes for traveling, which was also the reason why our trip went smoothly. The unexpected surprise was that the room we checked in was only 147 yuan, but I didn't expect there was a free breakfast. The minimum two nights for two people can save at least 80 yuan, plus the shuttle bus, and the return to the bus station, these transportation costs can also save a lot, the hotel basically stayed for nothing. I was a little embarrassed. The hotel also has many ******* costumes that can be chosen for free photography, which I have experienced in the past two days. The experience is that the accommodation price is cheap, the service is enthusiastic, and the shuttle bus is handled by the hotel owner's father, who is honest and simple. CChooBTThis is a 5 star hotel catering to big tour groups . I am a minority of travellers who stays here.i wanted a nice quiet setting which it is . As it is outside the main town centres , every trip out if here I need to get my own transport as the hotel do not provide shuttle service . This very inconvenient I found out .

com booking of transport as they did not even to bother to pick me up to Huanglong trip even after I paid for it. I told trip.com about it did not even bother to complain I just write off trip .com transport service forever ! They may lose a traveller customer too. I paid a hefty sum to get to Huanglong myself .
The breakfast are excellent . Unless you dine in the hotel , restaurant down town is few km away . This hotel is situable for someone who drives or part of tour group. The rates as that of a five star hotels are not cheap.

GGuest UserA couple of days ago, I saw a post on WeChat Moments saying, 'Taking photos for check-ins is the first level, called sightseeing; admiring scenery and visiting attractions is the second level, called touring; experiencing culture and history, and hiking mountains and rivers is the third level, called traveling.' I must say, Banyan Tree Jiuzhaigou allowed me to achieve all three levels of experience during my stay.
Honestly, after the Chinese New Year, I bought a three-night hotel package at a surprisingly good price, and found the surcharge for the May Day holiday to be very reasonable, so I decided to drive to Jiuzhaigou. After a 20-kilometer high-intensity mountain drive, when I saw the unfinished second phase of the hotel and did a quick search, I realized this hotel has had a tough journey, suffering setbacks from earthquakes and XX. It’s not easy for it to have persevered until today. I’d also like to ask other guests to come and stay with a spirit of 'overcoming difficulties together' to help this hotel and its people :).
The location and scenery are truly beyond words, meeting Banyan Tree's usual high standards. From the balcony, you can overlook snow-capped mountains, eagles, and valleys during the day, and a bright moon, starlight, and dark mountain shadows at night. At an altitude of over 2400 meters, the air is fresh and crisp, allowing you to breathe deeply and dispel any stale air.
The hotel offers many activities, including a panda dance performance and various handicrafts and painting for children. What impressed me most was hiking with hotel staff member Mr. Yang. It was about 1.5 kilometers, circling a small alpine lake near the hotel. While it couldn't compare to the vibrant waters of Jiuzhaigou, its tranquility was its charm. There were many large fish skeletons by the lake, a result of egrets preying, and also many dead trees fallen into the water. Through this scene, I discussed the meaning of the cycle of life and death with my daughter. Later, chatting with Mr. Yang, I learned he is of the Baima ******* ethnicity. Using my amateur ethnological knowledge, I talked to him about 'Baima Tibetans not being truly *******' and strongly suggested that they should preserve their language and culture. I recommended that the hotel could invite a folk expert to host a 'Baima Culture Night Talk' every evening, so guests don't have to seek out the stories of the earliest inhabitants of this land themselves.
Additionally, during the May Day holiday, the hotel had a bonfire party with Guozhuang dancing, which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. Under the glow of the bonfire, both hotel staff and guests were very happy. I strongly suggest making this a regular activity; even with low occupancy, it's a way for staff to relax. What stood out most were two older women who both sang toasting songs in the restaurant and danced here, with genuine joy in their eyes, whether raising a cup or swaying.
The hotel has many local staff, and their service is genuine, slightly informal, and very warm, which I attribute to their environment. The hotel breakfast was much better than I expected. I highly recommend the yak yogurt; it reminded me of the yak yogurt I had 20 years ago at the Delingha farmers' market – sweet and not greasy. When staying at the hotel, try to eat there, as driving to and from the county seat involves a 40-kilometer mountain drive, and the 3km distance shown on Dianping is a straight-line distance. Mountain driving is not easy, and safety comes first. The hotel's yak soup and stir-fries taste good, though the prices are a bit high, but since you're here, just go with the flow.
I've seen many lakes and fjords both domestically and internationally, but Jiuzhaigou truly captivates the soul. It's worth visiting again. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends, and I plan to visit again in the autumn. The hotel is 60 kilometers from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, and parking there can be difficult during holidays. However, driving yourself is best, as you can enjoy the fun of mountain driving. GGuest UserWhen I came to Jiuzhaigou this time, what I was most satisfied with was the hotel's location! It's super close to the scenic area entrance, just a few minutes' walk to the ticket gate. For tourists who are tired after exploring the scenic area and don't want to move, this location is simply 'king,' saving a lot of hassle with transportation.
The check-in experience was also great. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively upgraded our room type for free. The room was spacious, and the overall layout was warm and comfortable, making us feel very well taken care of.
However, there's one small regret I need to mention: the cleanliness details in the room could be greatly improved. Upon checking in, we found two items left by the previous guests that hadn't been cleaned up in time. Although it didn't affect the overall stay much, it did slightly diminish the sense of refinement.
Overall, considering the unbeatable convenient location and the thoughtful free upgrade service, it's still highly recommended. If the hotel could be stricter with room cleaning and inspection details, I believe it would provide guests with a perfect, 10/10 experience. I hope to see improvement next time I visit!

There are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is super convenient. The owner is very professional and thoughtful, even providing tourists with tour route guides and important tips. Parking is also quite convenient; during peak season, you can call the hotel when you're nearby, and a staff member will come to guide you to a parking spot. When choosing a hotel, I specifically looked for one with a shower partition so that the bathroom wouldn't get completely wet after showering. The room has air conditioning, power outlets on both sides of the bed, an electric kettle, a hairdryer, and disposable toiletries, which is very comprehensive.
Some of the facilities are a bit old, for example, the faucet on the sink was wobbly, the showerhead connection was spraying water, and the shower door didn't close properly. However, these minor issues don't detract from the overall experience; I was very satisfied with my two-night stay and the service I received.

We drove here, parking is really convenient, and there are charging piles. The staff are also very considerate, and gave a disposable toilet mat. They will also patiently remind you of the surrounding precautions and avoid pitfalls. Their yak beef soup pot on the 5th floor tastes very good. There is not much to eat around in winter, and I am too lazy to run. There are many varieties of breakfast. For this price, it is still good. In the morning, they also provide free service to the scenic spot, but you need to take a taxi when you come back, but it is also very convenient. The hotel is a little distance from the road, it is really quiet, and it is rare to have a good sleep. It is a very happy stay and I will come again if I have the chance!
