CHINnnnnAn absolutely secluded retreat:
True to its name, Jiushan is a top choice for escaping the world. When they picked me up to go up the mountain, we turned off the national road onto a very small and narrow path. The owner explained that he had to get permission from every villager along the way to build it, and it immediately felt very hidden and mysterious, yet also strangely welcoming.
While not completely surrounded by the nine sacred mountains of Jiuzhaigou, the guesthouse lobby and rooms offer an uninterrupted view of continuous mountain ranges right in front. The scenery changes rapidly with the weather, and simply sitting, lying, or standing and daydreaming, you feel healed by the view. It really is worth staying on the mountain; the scenery is a natural gift that hotels downhill just can't compare to.
When I contacted them in advance, they mentioned upgrading me to a room with floor-to-ceiling windows. It was raining when I arrived, and I ended up in a room called 'Rain' – everything felt perfectly serendipitous. The owner told me that the misty mountain view I saw that day was even rarer than the 'golden mountains in the sun.' I went downstairs and sat under a tent for a while, quietly listening to the rain and bird songs, taking deep breaths of fresh air – it felt like a full body cleanse. Sure enough, the next day, after clear skies, the scenery was completely different, offering an experience of peaceful reading in the sunlight.
On the first evening, I only intended to heat up some beef baked buns I'd bought downhill, but I was drawn to the bonfire that had been set up and ended up sitting there for ages. I didn't have my phone, just watched the crackling fire, zoned out, chatted, and even cadged a few beers.
After checking in, I completely forgot about my plans to go down the mountain to other scenic spots. I've often thought that for city dwellers, travel is a process of returning to oneself. We're bombarded with enough information usually, so being able to be alone in an undisturbed place, even just to daydream, is the best possible experience.

Guest UserFirst time writing a hotel review.
I was very satisfied with the hardware, service, and natural environment. The room had incense (I didn't have time to make ******* incense, and they thoughtfully gave me a set), plenty of drinks, and all the amenities were excellent. I could also enjoy a warm bath in the room. Regarding the service, I especially want to mention that the driver would pick us up very quickly as soon as I called the butler, which was really thoughtful. The most noteworthy aspect is the incredibly comfortable natural surroundings outside the hotel. You can take leisurely strolls, feel the mountain air, and even chat casually with local Tibetans living nearby.
The hotel has a cat and a sheep, so remember to interact with them – they brought us a wonderful experience. Climbing up, there were apple trees, wild peach trees, and more, which instantly brightened my mood when I saw them.
Overall, the experience was excellent and I highly recommend it.

I loved this guesthouse so much I took a lot of pictures. Lu Jing isn't close to the scenic area entrance or the direct shuttle bus stop, but the environment is truly wonderful and it offers a completely different experience from a typical chain hotel. They offer one free pickup (though since I was coming from Huanglong Scenic Area, they could only pick me up at the shuttle drop-off point), and every morning they drop you off at the scenic area entrance. Because it's not near the commercial district, it's very quiet and not crowded. It was perfect for my solo trip. The in-room amenities were top-notch; I slept very comfortably. The bathroom faucets and showerheads were all Kohler, and the room was very clean. The front desk lady even helped me carry my luggage to my room when I checked in, the service was excellent. Next time I come to Jiuzhaigou in the autumn, I'll definitely stay here again!

QiyueyushiqiThe owner is so kind. I arrived on my motorcycle close to 10 PM, and they upgraded me from a double bed to a king-size room. It was just me in a huge king room, and as soon as I walked in, I loved how big and cozy it felt. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was included. On the first day, they offered to make me noodles and even prepared butter tea – I was so full! Both breakfasts were different and absolutely perfect. The little cats in the courtyard were also adorable. I've stayed in many hotels while motorcycle touring, and this is only the second truly great one I've encountered. Highly recommended!
Facilities: All the facilities are very new.
Hygiene: The hygiene was spotless, a hundred times better than I expected.
Environment: The environment is peaceful, with a small courtyard where you can park.
Service: The service was excellent. Both the gentleman who waited for me to check in late at night and the lovely lady the next day were incredibly nice.

Guest UserTraveling with my family of three during the summer holiday, I looked at many hotels and chose this one, Dolanda. The location is excellent; the bus stops right at Zangwang Yanwu Square, making our return trip easy. The area is packed with places to eat, including specialty restaurants, supermarkets, and popular chains like Ba Wang Cha Ji, Luckin Coffee, KFC, and Starbucks—everything you could ask for. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area.
The service was also great! The hotel is on the second floor, and there are dedicated staff downstairs to help with luggage. The front desk staff were warm and courteous. After checking out, I realized I left some cosmetics in the room, and the housekeeper immediately messaged me about it.
The breakfast policy is very thoughtful; children under 17 eat for free, unlike other hotels that charge based on height. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. My daughter and I found the 1.35-meter beds perfect, no need to push beds together.
Jiuzhaigou is incredibly beautiful, and even though it was exhausting, it was absolutely worth it. If I visit Jiuzhaigou again, I'll definitely stay here!

Guest UserThis new Tibetan-style guesthouse is absolutely stunning. The overall design perfectly blends traditional ******* elements with modern minimalist aesthetics, creating a space that's rich in ethnic culture yet stylish and upscale. The lobby's ******* patterns, natural wood textures, and lighting layout are all incredibly beautiful. The corridors and window nooks are meticulously decorated, and the complimentary ******* clothing is perfect for photoshoots. The room interiors are exquisite and tasteful, with a sophisticated color palette. ******* totems and soft furnishings are used just right – not overly showy, but highly distinctive. The window views are expansive, and every corner of the guesthouse showcases a keen sense of aesthetics, preserving regional characteristics while meeting modern living habits. With its strong sense of style, this place is definitely the top choice for those who love taking photos and appreciate a good ambiance. Absolutely fantastic! We stayed for two nights. It seems newly renovated and has a much better ambiance than other B&Bs nearby – felt like a real steal! I don't think there's an elevator, which is why we chose a first-floor room. We could easily get shuttled to and from the scenic area both morning and evening. It was very quiet at night, and there's a delicious beef noodle restaurant nearby. Super satisfied!

Posted on Aug 9, 2026|Bed In Quadruple Room With Shared Bathroom (Male Only)
Anonymous UserCan the hostel please improve its hygiene? On the second morning, I woke up to a bunch of mosquitoes on the wall next to my bed, and dead mosquito bloodstains on the sheets. Only when I got back did I realize I had a bunch of skin inflammation from the bites. I'm truly fed up. All the windows in the room were sealed shut, so the room was stuffy. The good thing is that it has a nice river view outside, and there are restaurants, pharmacies, and convenience stores at Guoda Square. It's also quite convenient for getting to scenic spots and to and from the high-speed rail station.

Guest UserThe room was beautifully decorated and felt very cozy, with relatively new furnishings. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great room at this price point! 🥳 It was raining when I arrived, and I asked the front desk staff if they had hot water. They kindly boiled a kettle for me on the spot, which I really appreciated. 🥺 The only minor drawback was that the water heater temperature was a bit tricky to control – it was either scalding hot or freezing cold, making showering a test of precision. Also, the connection between the pipe and the showerhead was a bit loose, causing some leakage that would unexpectedly spray me. But honestly, at this price, what more could you ask for?

MaiMayMayThe place doesn’t worth the price. Just FYI: The night before I had stayed at another place, closer to the entrance park, only 100 kuai more expensive, and it was much better. 汀泉清居 has very kind, efficient and nice staff, but the situation of the hotel isn’t good. First, the room I stayed in had windows facing the main road, so it was very noisy. Second, the corridor with the rooms is on the same floor as the entrance, so the guests who arrived (in groups quite often) would make a big mess. Third, they have a ******* show at an open area just beside the hotel, making it even noisier. If you expect to relax after a full day of Jiuzhaigou, forget it! You’ll have to wait until after 21:30. After that, earplugs can help cancelling the noise of the road and the guests. Lastly, the shower definitely needs maintenance.
It’s not the worst place; but, overall, it’s not a place to stay after spending the day at the amazing jiuzhai; I’d recommend you spend a few kuai more and book somewhere else.
