"I arrived without doing any research for my spontaneous trip, and the temperature difference between morning and evening was truly massive. I got out of the car in summer clothes and shivered uncontrollably. For anyone planning to visit, definitely pack a thick jacket to deal with the unpredictable weather. Even though it was rainy and overcast, the scenery was already stunning. It was just too cold to go out, and I was so disappointed, thinking the next two days would be just as cold. But to my surprise, I woke up to sunshine the next day, and the entire hotel looked like it had a filter applied! When I checked out today, I was actually wearing summer clothes – the weather really is so changeable. This stay involved low temperatures and mild altitude sickness, but I got through it all thanks to the attentive care of our butler, Jasmine. I can't wait to come back next time for the colorful forests!"

"Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a Zen-style King Room. The overall ambiance was pleasant, with a Japanese-inspired decor. The laundry room was a convenient amenity. Soundproofing was just so-so. As the hotel is located at a high altitude, it gets quite cold in the mornings and evenings. The air conditioning only provides cooling, and while there's underfloor heating, it's off by default, requiring a special request to the front desk to turn it on, which is something to keep in mind!😅"

"The hotel environment is excellent, and the service is superb, especially the warm and thoughtful reception service from Hai Jun. It was a very comfortable stay! The breakfast was rich, and the à la carte dishes were also delicious – really great! The hotel is also close to the scenic area, and there's a shuttle bus to take guests there. All in all, I'm very satisfied with everything; it's highly recommended!"

"To visit Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, I specifically chose this hotel for a good rest, staying for two nights. It turned out to be the right choice. Perhaps because the peak season hadn't arrived yet, the hotel staff had ample energy to serve every guest, and they were truly attentive throughout our stay. After parking, someone helped open the car door and carried our luggage. The front desk staff, Anna, helped upgrade our room type, arranged complimentary breakfast, reminded us about altitude sickness precautions, and explained how to use the room facilities. After our trip to Jiuzhaigou, they arranged a bathing set for the room and even helped coordinate our travel photography. All the housekeeping and hotel staff were very polite. Especially a male staff member we met in front of the Chinese restaurant, who gave us useful tips on parking. Additionally, we purchased the hotel's dinner buffet, which offered a rich selection, plenty of seafood, and prompt plate changes. Breakfast was also a very pleasant dining experience. The hotel facilities are excellent, the decor is grand and beautiful, and privacy is well-maintained. Inside, there's a charming street where you can buy handicrafts, a children's activity room, and a travel photography studio. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, you can also consider the small shops across the street, which are also delicious. When we booked, the hotel included three travel photo shoots. I looked at the samples from the 'New Era Travel Photography' studio and thought they were quite good. I wanted a ******* traditional costume photoshoot, and the makeup wasn't the 'influencer' style. So I decided to upgrade the package and included my husband in the shoot. The overall efficiency was high, and I was spoiled for choice when selecting photos. After upgrading the package, I ended up choosing even more."

"I spent a long time choosing this hotel, and I'm glad I did! The location is fantastic. It has its own large courtyard for parking, which is incredibly convenient if you're driving. If you're arriving by bus, the Guoda Parking Lot is right next door, making bus access super easy too. Just a few dozen meters behind the hotel is Bianbian Street, offering a huge variety of dining and shopping options. The hotel's decor is quite nice, and there was no strange odor in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom features a smart toilet, and the overall hygiene was excellent. They provided four bottles of mineral water daily, which was more than enough. Overall, I'm very satisfied! Oh, and they even gave us a small gift upon check-in – a few bottles of drinks. Breakfast was delicious, clean, and tidy. Even with many diners, the staff were quick to clear dishes and refill food, which was a huge plus."

"The hotel is located above the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, which means it's exceptionally quiet due to its higher elevation. For those of us driving, it was very convenient to park directly at the hotel entrance. The butler contacted us in advance, sent us all the necessary information, and even sent us the menu early on check-in day so we could pre-order. This meant we could eat immediately after checking in (the yak hotpot was incredibly hearty!). The room was very clean, and toiletries were refilled regularly. The hotel grounds are quite extensive, and every day of our stay, we got to experience a different activity, each with a strong ******* flavor. The lady teaching the handicrafts was very patient, and all the staff were incredibly attentive. Staying here in Jiuzhaigou was truly excellent and convenient. In the mornings, there was a shuttle to take us to Jiuzhaigou, and getting a taxi back was also easy. Right outside the hotel entrance, there's a large hillside with free-roaming cattle and sheep. (If you're planning a trip to Jiuzhaigou like we did, I highly recommend driving from Chengdu, but make sure you have at least two drivers as it's a five-plus hour journey.)"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The surroundings were peaceful and serene, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The room was modern, spacious, and tastefully decorated, making it very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. We especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which featured a wide variety of delicious options. A lovely bonus was the complimentary supper served in the evening, which was a thoughtful touch after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is also conveniently located near Jiuzhaigou, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!"

"Before the earthquake, I stayed at the InterContinental Jiuzhai Paradise when I visited Jiuzhaigou. I remember thinking it was incredibly beautiful and wanted to come back, so I chose Jiuzhai Paradise again this time. The environment is fantastic, and it's quiet at night, which is great for sleeping. However, the breakfast restaurant has no air conditioning, so it was quite chilly eating breakfast early in the morning. There were a few space heaters, but their coverage was very limited. The butler service clearly tries hard, but I hope they can improve their professionalism, including their communication skills and responsiveness to requests. Everything was perfect until we encountered an issue with the two latex pillows – is this really a common problem in hotels?! The first night, the pillows were too soft, and we didn't sleep well, so we asked for latex pillows. The next morning, my companion, out of boredom, pulled off the pillowcase and found a lot of mold inside – it was truly disgusting... We happened to be checking out, and when we reported it to the hotel, the staff just said, ”Oh, really? We'll report it to housekeeping,” and that was it... There was no further apology. Anyway, since we were leaving, we just put a double pillowcase on and didn't dwell on it to avoid ruining our mood. But it's goodbye to Jiuzhai Paradise for good. I'll be back to Jiuzhaigou many times, but I'll never stay at Jiuzhai Paradise again."

"For a trip to Jiuzhaigou, the Howard Johnson is a very reliable choice. The hotel's overall decor is exquisite, with a strong ******* flair, and the public areas are great for photos. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with amenities, and the bed was just right – not too soft, not too hard – ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The service was attentive and thoughtful, from check-in to check-out, we felt well taken care of. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted great, with local specialties available. The hot spring pools were very relaxing, and the facilities were comprehensive. It's also conveniently located. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jiuzhaigou."

The hotel features comprehensive amenities: spacious guest rooms with complete smart home equipment, a tidy indoor swimming pool, well-equipped fitness center and relaxing spa facilities blending ******* styles. Every public area is neatly decorated and impeccably maintained. All staff provide warm and sincere service, and I single out Vincent for his meticulous, proactive help during my entire stay. The breakfast buffet is plentiful ranging from Western staples to distinctive local ******* cuisines. Surrounded by stunning natural scenery, the resort fully lives up to its premium brand, and I highly recommend it"
