Jiuzhaigou Hotels with Breakfast

Our stay at Jiuzhai Yunshang was truly special and one of the highlights of our trip to Jiuzhaigou. Nestled beautifully in the mountains, the inn offers a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. A special mention has to go to our personal butler, 扎西, who made our stay incredibly memorable. He was warm, thoughtful and attentive without ever being intrusive. He made sure our time was well spent by arranging wonderful experiences such as mountain mushroom picking and a visit to a local Zhang household, giving us the opportunity to experience the local culture and way of life. What we especially appreciated was the perfect balance between activities and personal time. 扎西 made sure we had things to look forward to while also giving us plenty of space to simply enjoy the villa, take in the mountain scenery and listen to the rain in complete peace. It was exactly the kind of slow, relaxing escape we needed. The villa itself was beautiful, with clean and modern interiors complemented by gorgeous Zhang-style aesthetics. It felt luxurious yet warm and deeply connected to its surroundings. Thank you to 扎西 and the team for making our stay so thoughtful and memorable. This time in Jiuzhaigou, I booked this B&B with a private hot spring in Zhangza Town, and the experience was fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with a cozy and comfortable off-white color scheme. The outdoor private hot spring pool was the highlight – soaking in the warm water under the stars at night created an incredibly atmospheric and photogenic scene. All the fatigue from a day of travel instantly melted away. The location is right at the entrance of the scenic area, making it very convenient to get there, and they offer free shuttle service. The breakfast was also delicious, with freshly cooked rice noodles and steamed dim sum, perfect for a hearty start to the day.

Staying here felt just like home, with thoughtful service and every request met. I'm a bit of a clean freak, and even though the hotel's main color scheme is off-white, it was impeccably clean, which I really appreciated! The hotel is located in Pengfeng Village, right outside there are breakfast spots and restaurants, super convenient. But it's not right on the main road, so it's very quiet, which I loved. The owner is incredibly nice and even drives guests to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area in the morning, which is a huge plus. They are very generous; there are complimentary bottled waters right by the elevator, and over ten different travel amenities like personal care kits available for guests to take as needed. The attention to detail is impressive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit and highly recommend it to my friends.

This hotel is perfect for travelers who aren't in a hurry to get to the valley. During peak hours, it can take over 30 minutes by taxi to and from the Jiuzhaigou Tourist Center. The hotel and rooms offer stunning views, located in the Huamei Shengdi town. Within walking distance, you'll find basic amenities like convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. It's also easy to get a taxi to Zhongzha Valley. The room facilities are on par with what you'd expect from a five-star resort hotel. Overall, the service was generally mediocre. Two things, however, stood out as excellent: Firstly, a slightly older male staff member during check-in was incredibly enthusiastic. He noticed it was our first stay and gave us a detailed介绍 of child-friendly attractions nearby. Secondly, when our TV broke, two maintenance staff members worked diligently for a long time into the evening, eventually discovering the IP was down and replacing the TV – they worked very hard late at night. Additionally, the shuttle drivers within the hotel were very responsible, always offering rides if they saw us on the road. Other services were rather cold. After discovering the TV was broken, the front desk initially dismissed it as a signal issue. It took a second call before they sent maintenance. There was no butler contact throughout our stay, but oddly enough, we received a call asking for a good review after we checked out. During our stay, there was a celebrity filming, and a staff member actually blocked our way to our room, asking us to make way for the celebrity – it was baffling.

The B&B environment is beautiful and quiet, far exceeding my expectations. The room was also very clean. The hot water kettle is the kind that heats directly, which is very convenient. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic; she carefully explained how to use the room's facilities and even helped with luggage. The breakfast was also very generous, and you could get free refills if needed. The driver provides free pick-up and drop-off to scenic spots, which is super convenient, and he was very enthusiastic about introducing the local specialties. I'm extremely satisfied!

I've stayed at many Hilton hotels across the country, and I want to share my honest experience from this stay. We were in Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong from the evening of the 29th to the 2nd, and stayed at this hotel. The price, at 1400 a night, wasn't cheap but not overly expensive either. We chose it hoping for good service and environment, but were a bit disappointed. Here are my thoughts: 1. The hot water tap in the bathroom was broken... That's a bit much. 2. The carpet wasn't treated for slip resistance; it was very easy to slip and fall. 3. Drinks weren't refilled when the room was cleaned, even though they were included in my booking. These were just cheap sodas and the like, but such details shouldn't be overlooked in a five-star hotel. 4. It gets very cold in the mountains at night, and the hotel didn't have hot air conditioning. We had to get a portable heater, which made the air incredibly dry. 5. The hotel is located in a resort area, but all the surrounding businesses have closed down. There's nothing to browse or eat nearby in the evenings. We had to go all the way to the 'Eternal Love' area for dinner. On our first night, not wanting to travel, we ate the hotel's buffet dinner and ended up with diarrhea. There were only 4 types of chilled seafood, and the other dishes were just mediocre. 6. The TV was very small, and the bed was extremely soft, not suitable for people with back problems. Overall, regarding the general detail experience, I can only give it a 68 out of 100.

We arrived at the hotel rather late, and the staff proactively upgraded our room. The room was spotlessly clean and fully equipped. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle service to the scenic area, making getting around very convenient. The front desk service was attentive, the breakfast was good, and the overall experience was fantastic. We will definitely choose to stay here again if we visit Jiuzhaigou in the future.

So glad we chose this forest hotel; it really added a unique touch to our trip. It's located deep inside Zhongzhagou Valley, which is already stunning. If you're not in a rush to get to Jiuzhaigou, you could easily spend a few extra days here. There's even a hiking trail behind the hotel if you're into that. We were incredibly lucky and spotted wild rabbits on the lawn in the afternoon, evening, and early morning! The hotel also offers dining, and there are ******* restaurants in the village. However, you'll find more options down the mountain, which is only about a fifteen-minute drive away. We had to leave after breakfast to head to Jiuzhaigou, but we definitely could have stayed another day to explore the surrounding scenery.

The Yushe Yunshan Hotel was a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was relatively clean, and the breakfast was definitely one of the highlights. There was a delicious spread with a wide variety of choices, making breakfast an enjoyable part of the stay. The service from the staff was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful, which really made a positive impression and added to the overall experience. However, I do feel that the hotel was somewhat misrepresented on Trip.com. It was marketed as a luxury hotel, but in my experience, it did not quite live up to that description. The atmosphere and overall experience felt more like a hotel primarily catering to local guests rather than a luxury property aimed at international travellers. Overall, the hotel has some strong positives, particularly the excellent staff service, cleanliness, and breakfast. However, expectations should be adjusted when booking, as I would describe it as a comfortable local hotel rather than a true luxury hotel.
