Delta Hotels in Jiuzhaigou

Excellent hotel. It is about 11 kilometres (7 miles) away from the Jiuzhaigo national park but there were always taxis or didi around and they charged between 40 and 45 yuan. I think what I liked the most is the decoration and choice of colour palette. Gold, light browns, silver and a hint of red. All very *******. The staff were super nice. They were not fluent in English but they are always willing to be helpful. A translation app is advisable if you have a non-standard request. I recommend the breakfast and buffet dinner - wide selection- as well as the a la carte restaurant (Simmer). Prices for food were very good value for money.

We booked a family room for 2 adults and a 10 yo kid. The room is clean and well designed. The amenities in the hotel is quite complete like laundry room free of charge. Detergent is not provided, however, customer can purchase detergent capsule at CNY5 from the counter at the hotel lobby. There are convenient store and MCD outside hotel building. The hotel also provides a good selection in their breakfast menu which caters customers traveling from western countries. The location of hotel is great, walking distance to national park entrance.

The hotel is definitely my choice when I go to Jiuzhaigou again. Most staff, including the young guys who shuttled us between room and front desk/restaurant, were very friendly and helpful. Staff in the breakfast restaurant were all very nice and offered to help. The Concierge manager Jacky Zhang always replied to WeChat requests on a timely basis and made us feel most welcome when saw us in person. We stayed there for 4 nights and some staff recognized us and remembered our room number! They were all super friendly when we chatted with them. On the other hand, staff in the dinner restaurant 炙 are not too helpful or cheerful and need more training to improve the service. The hotel entrance was not always manned including when we arrived. More staff would be needed to ensure timely assistance for arriving guests. Our suite was spacious and at this time of the year could see a snow capped mountain outside the room's windows. The walk-in closet was a bit small relative to the size of the suite, but could accommodate one large open luggage and one small open one. The door of the washroom near the room's entrance was so heavy it was not possible to use that washroom. The nearby walk-in closet door was also super heavy, in any case, once our large luggage is open, that door became jammed by the luggage and could not be open, so we ended up using the entrance from the other side (the bedroom side). A cab ride to the scenic area took 20 minutes and some 42 Reminbi, that saved us the trouble of trying to find a car park at the scenic area where parking spaces were very limited. Many cabs also awaited tourists outside the scenic area when we were finished sight seeing for the day so there was no problem with getting back to the hotel. We dined at the hotel”s dinner restaurant twice and the food was alright though a bit on the high end according to mainland China's standard and for that yet to improve level of service. We were not offered a menu on the first day of buffet breakfast, but on subsequent days we were offered to choose additional items including different egg preparation, congees, noodles, etc. described in the menu. The breakfast restaurant was a bit small so tables were rather near one another, but we went at off peak hours so that was acceptable. There were enough varieties to keep us satisfied but must say not enough varieties for a 5-star hotel; in particular, there was only one type of salad leaf. The bath tub made a loud strange noise after use. We had to unplug from the electric socket to stop the intermitten loud wind blowing noise. That was reported to the front desk when we checked out, but somehow my communication in poor Putongua mixed with English terms was misunderstood by the front desk initially. All in all, I selected Jiuzhaigou Conrad after reviewing the choices carefully, and I still think this is probably the best choice for my needs. Will stay here again next time!

The hotel is a bit old. I heard that it was the first-tier five-star hotel in Jiuzhaigou. This is the third hotel I stayed in Jiuzhaigou on this trip. I came here specially to experience it. I didn't expect too much from the old hotel, but it felt beyond my expectations. It is integrated into the forest. The original forest is outside the room. The hotel design is very thoughtful and unique. It is more beautiful when the lights are turned on at night. It is an old luxury hotel with a large number of guest rooms. There are probably thousands of rooms in seven buildings. InterContinental should be the largest hotel in Jiuzhaigou. The lobby is covered with glass, with many plants, and the view is transparent and open. You can see the nearby mountains when you sit outside to eat and drink coffee. There are also performances in the evening, which feels very good. Maybe for this reason, there are many conference receptions and travel groups. The disadvantage is that it is too far from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area and occupies a forest exclusively. If you don't drive by yourself, it will be inconvenient to enter and exit. It is close to the high-speed rail station and the airport. Because it is built with a high and low drop, the floor codes of several buildings will make people feel confused. There are too many people at breakfast, and the variety is not rich enough compared to Hilton Resort. But overall, the vacation is still very good. The environment and atmosphere of the hotel are indeed incomparable to other star-rated hotels. It is worth experiencing.

The most expensive hotel in this National Day trip to Chengdu, but still a treasure hotel that is worth the money. The reasons for recommendation are as follows: ⚓️🎢Location & Tour It is a 20-minute drive from Jiuzhaigou, so we booked this hotel after visiting Jiuzhaigou. After all, it is still a little far from the entrance of the valley... The hotel is in Huamei Shengdi Scenic Area, so we arranged a tour of Zhongchagou the next day. The experience can be rated full marks💯 🏔️🏯Environment & Facilities The design of Hotel Indigo is a highlight. I have been to Hotel Indigo in Shanghai before and it has a strong sense of design. This hotel is also adapted to local conditions. The design theme is the sacred eagle culture of the ******* area. It is great, and there are themed artworks everywhere 🎈🛍️Service The hotel provides butler service, Andy Hu provided a lot of help, thank you very much, helped to delay the check-out, arranged the hotel's travel photography activities, very satisfied 👍 The service staff encountered during the stay were very sincere, very nice and responsive, thumbs up 👍 🏮🎁Food & Food Dinner: Experienced the ******* stone pot chicken, the price is not cheap but the taste is superb, waited for a long time, but the moment I ate the food was really super satisfying, the chicken was very tender, the soup base was also very rich, the dipping sauce was amazing, both spicy and non-spicy tastes are delicious, highly recommended Breakfast: You must try breakfast, it's too rich, tried all kinds of local food, I like yak yogurt + tsampa + honey bread the most, the honey is still hanging on the board of honey 🍯, pure and original ecology Help improve some small suggestions: 1. The hotel is integrated with the scenic area, so it is hard to tell whether it is inside or outside the hotel. Building 2 is arranged, a little distance from the lobby, but you can only switch from the 2nd floor, and you are lost when you walk to the 1st floor 2. The hotel restaurant displays cultural and creative products for sale. Although they are beautiful, I have no desire to buy them. A bag costs more than 100 yuan, which feels like a robbery.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The surrounding is lovely, a lot of greenery. The hotel is very new, rooms are clean and spacious. The Breakfast was good, but the menu was repeated the next morning. There is group dance activity in the evening near to the hotel, organized for tourists during holidays. It was exciting to participate in that. 😊😊😊. Service people are helpful. Xena Niu helped us with a lot of useful information before our vacation. It was nice to get a free upgrade to a room with balcony. The manager speaks a little English, the rest doesn’t.

Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, including a children's play center, a gym, a yoga room, and a billiards and card room. Unfortunately, the travel photography did not make an appointment in advance and was not completed, and the swimming pool is not open yet. Cleanliness: Both the rooms and public areas are neat and clean. Environment: The hotel is on a mountain, surrounded by mountains. It feels like living in the scenery. The altitude difference is 1 kilometer. It takes half an hour to drive on the winding mountain road of more than 20 kilometers. It is very exciting, but the road condition is not bad and the scenery is beautiful. You just need to avoid it. Cows and horses raised by villagers. Service: It was National Day when we went, and the hotel prepared a variety of meals throughout the day. Rich activities include Baima ******* welcome ceremony, Baima ******* original ecological toast song, group photo in national costumes, hiking in primeval forest, afternoon tea in the clouds, sunset ceremony, rice cake making, bonfire party, travel photography of ******* and Qiang costumes, etc. The most rare thing is that on the day I checked out, my car tires were under-inflated. The hotel engineering department immediately sent a master named Wang to help me inflate the tires. It was a very considerate service. Thank you very much. The small mountain potatoes used to make glutinous rice cakes are also very delicious. I bought 30 kilograms of them and took them home. All in all, a great experience.

All aspects of the hotel are very good. It is very convenient to go to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. You can take a taxi just outside. The bus that picks up from the high-speed rail station also has a separate stop here, so it is very easy to determine the boarding and alighting points. The hotel staff are also very good, especially Sister Xiao Yang, who is very gentle and has a good attitude. The hotel breakfast is also very good, and the rice noodles are delicious hahahaha. Friends who come to Jiuzhaigou to play, this hotel is worth considering!

1) Reception closes after 12am which makes enquiries cumbersome if you don’t have a china mobile. 2) Only 1 washing machine and dryer to accommodate the whole hotel needs. 3) Hot Spring at the hotel only opens from 5pm to 9pm and advance booking of 30 mins have to be made which makes planning difficult 4) Location is prime as it need to the valley park but beware that you will be getting a lot of noise pollution from both cars and human traffic. The lack of city planning causes a lot of congestion.
