The separation between the two rooms is vague, and the voices of people sitting in other seats are noisy, so it is not comfortable for people who want to eat quietly.The restaurant cannot be called a high-class inn.

Also, my husband is Italian, but he's not used to having rice, miso soup, and fish in the morning, so I asked him if he could switch to a Western breakfast if possible, and he kindly agreed. I had a Japanese breakfast on the first day, but my husband's Western breakfast was also very appealing, so I asked him the day before if I could have a Western breakfast on the second day, even though I knew it would be impossible. I was able to enjoy a Japanese breakfast on the first day and a Western breakfast on the second day. It was a little disappointing. That said, the Kutani ware and Yamanaka lacquerware that was served was wonderful and I was able to enjoy it with my eyes. If I have a revisit, I would like to choose a la carte kaiseki because the seafood was fresh and delicious. In the guest room, the washroom and toilet were the latest equipment, but there are many steps in the room and it is not barrier-free, so elderly people need to be careful. In terms of security, I felt inconvenient in managing the key because the room door is not an auto-lock but a cylinder lock and the safety box is old-fashioned. It seems that the lobby floor will be renovated at the end of GW, but the guest rooms and large public baths are still retro Showa era.

GW最終日に利用しました。コロナ禍の旅行に不安がありましたが、館内の感染対策は万全で、大浴場の洗面台には除菌シートが用意され、共用部への配慮もあり、安心して過ごすことが出来ました。スタッフの接客も“エレベーターに同乗しない、短時間の説明”等、徹底した姿勢が窺えました。サービス面では、客室案内・夕食のサーブをしてくださった若い男性スタッフの対応が素晴らしく、細部への気遣いが自然で、ホスピタリティがあり、大変印象が良かったです。 お食事は、旬の食材を用いた工夫された献立でした。ただ、夜は繊細で上品な懐石料理.には及ばず、少し野暮ったさを感じるお味。朝も出汁巻き玉子に味が無く、味付けを忘れたのかと疑う程...味の好みは人それぞれですが、残念な思いが強かったです。とは言え、配膳される九谷焼・山中塗の器の数々が素敵で、目で楽しむことが出来ました。再訪があれば、山海の幸は新鮮で美味でしたので、素材そのものの味をストレートに感じるアラカルト懐石を選びたいと思います。客室は、洗面所・トイレは最新設備でしたが、室内に段差が多くバリアフリーでは無い為、高齢者には注意が必要です。セキュリティ面では、客室扉はオートロックでは無くシリンダー錠、セーフティボックスも旧式の為、鍵の管理に不便さを感じました。GW後、リフォーム休業との事でしたので、再開を期待しています。
