Toyoko Inn Kagoshima Chuo Eki Nishi Guchi Reviews

Pros: The hotel locates near the west exit of Kagoshima Central Station. It takes less than 3 minutes walk to get there from the station. However it would take 8-10 minutes walk to reach the airport bus terminal which is close to the east gate of the station. Space of a double room is satisfactory and average in Japan. Cons: Breakfast is very simple so we just ignore the breakfast on the the third day. No USB sockets in the room. One should not expect much facilities and services with reference to the price.

The hotel is very close to Kagoshima Chuo Station. There is a large supermarket and the Ferris wheel next to it. The room is very clean and cost-effective. The hotel has an average breakfast and is full. I will stay here again. The room can also see the Ferris wheel.

I booked a total of two rooms, a single room and a two-bed room. The waiters were very polite and the room was quite tidy. However, the mattress and pillows were a bit hard. The hotel provided pajamas (when I booked the room, I saw many comments like Not provided), you can pick it up from the storage cabinet in the lobby. The breakfast area in the lobby is a bit small, but because the breakfast options are very small and the taste is okay, the waiting time for a seat is not long. The hotel is very close to the station, and there are shortcuts in the shopping mall to get there. However, when the shopping mall is closed, you have to walk a long way, so everyone should be aware that there are many restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Japan. I rarely give negative reviews and I couldn't bear it this time. We originally wanted to stay here when we came back to Ibusuki, but fortunately we could cancel, but we really couldn't stay here again. The small room is not a problem. I don't know if we Chinese people are given the same rooms, 602 and 1302, facing the railway tracks. The trains come and go at 5 o'clock and it is so noisy that I can't sleep. The breakfast is too scary, there is almost nothing except rice. There wasn’t even a glass of milk, and the service staff’s attitude was extremely bad. I will never stay at a Toyoko Inn again!

The quality is the same as the hotels under other groups. It rained when I went there, and the front desk kindly lent us umbrellas. The sanitary napkins and other supplies provided are the same as those in other hotels of the same group that I have visited before. The group's hotels have always attracted guests with preferential prices. 

The location is excellent. Just turn right at the west gate of JR Kagoshima Chuo Station and walk for 2 to 3 minutes. It is convenient to get to Ibusuki and Nishidaiyama by car. It is a budget hotel and is very popular. The restaurant on the first floor has a microwave and dining area. The hotel is relatively clean and hygienic. Self-service check-in and check-out procedures, breakfast is average; shortcomings: the room smells of cigarette smoke, the hair dryer is loud and windless, and the shower head is uncomfortable to use.

The hotel's breakfast and facilities are very good. It is located just a 3-minute walk from the station. However, there are train tracks behind the hotel. There will be noise when the train passes by. If you are concerned about the sound, please avoid this hotel.

It was very clean. The shampoo also smelled very nice. When I go again, I would like to stay there because the location is good.

The transportation is very convenient, 100 meters from the station, the breakfast is also good, the room is not big, Toyoko's hotel is very cost-effective, and the location is good. This time I changed the check-in to complete it myself on the machine.

The location is very close to Kagoshima Chuo Station. I booked a twin room and both beds were 4 feet and very comfortable. There is a bathtub for bathing. The room is smaller but not much luggage.
