It is a business hotel located in the downtown Tenmonkan in Minami Kyushu, but it was only called ”Rem”, and I was able to sleep well as rarely for me to sleep until I was woken up by the alarm clock. The city trams and buses are running on the road right in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast at the talis in the building because it was breakfast for the night, but it was quite well organized and substantial. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

Highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Kagoshima for a short time! The location being inside the JR Station is very convenient, and the hotel was clean. Had a lot of free amenities, like some epsom salt bath! The room itself is a typical small room like you see everywhere in Japan. Would definitely recommend if you visit Kagoshima!

Maybe I checked in late. It was after 7pm and the room was full, so the room I was assigned was not very good. There was a musty smell in the first room I entered. After I told the front desk, I changed to a second room with a bigger musty smell. But my friend is very nice. He changed with me 😂 But his room was not very clean and there were girls' hair on the wash basin and shower head. . . . But the hot spring is good, the internal environment is ok, and there are ice cream snacks

For self-driving travel, the location of this hotel is very good and it is very convenient to go to any Kagoshima attractions. However, please note that the parking lot is closed from 0:00-07:00 every night, and the hotel will still arrange for room cleaning every day. There is a chapel where weddings can be held. The Shiroyama Hotel in Kagoshima is an old five-star hotel founded in 1963. The current Emperor and Empress of Japan have stayed here. It may not be an exaggeration to say that this hotel is the best hotel in Kagoshima. The address of this hotel is located on the top of Shiroyama, the site of the Southwest War. A 5-minute walk from the hotel entrance is the Shiroyama Observation Deck where you can overlook Sakurajima. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to Kagoshima JR Station, which runs every half hour. All hotel staff are friendly and well-trained. The facilities inside the hotel are very complete and there are many restaurants, including Japanese restaurants and Western restaurants. I personally recommend the semi-buffet lunch at The Lounge Casablanca on the 4th floor. There are a variety of appetizers and soups to choose from. For the final dessert, the waiter will push a cart to you and ask you what you want. The hotel has its own bakery and dessert shop, and its desserts also have a counter in Kagoshima JR Station. The hotel's large bathhouse has an open-air hot spring. Sitting in the hot spring, you can overlook Sakurajima in the distance. The most important thing is that this hotel is not expensive! If I go to Kagoshima next time, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

This hotel is very new, the room and lobby environment have nothing to say, the bed is very comfortable. However, the room we booked was arranged on the first floor closest to the front desk. Fortunately, the room was soundproofed and there was no noise impact. It should be noted that the link to this room I took on Trip.com will be arranged on the first floor. If you want a higher floor, please choose a sea view room (you can book in the spg app and you can score points). Behind the wall facing the hotel is the sea, but I didn't see it on the first floor. In addition, the hotel does not have a restaurant. The breakfast option of 200 yuan per person on Trip.com is actually a lunch box. You have to go to the front desk to get the room in the morning. We also argued with the front desk for this. If you have a friend who mind, you can decide whether to do it yourself, but the uncle at the front desk said that this lunch box was very delicious, I didn't try it, because the whole family was at the entrance of the hotel and it was cheap and convenient to buy food. There is not much to eat around, there is a tea restaurant across the road, it is a family restaurant, don't go too late for dinner, otherwise there is nothing. Basically that's it.

2023年4月10日利用。場所は鹿児島の繁華街でもある電停(路面電車)天文館の駅前で、バスの停車前にもありランドマーク的な存在だとも言えるかと思います。確かに1階にはショッピングモールがあったり、最近のホテルという感じで、改装か新築された印象で館内は綺麗でした。構造は7階がフロントで、8階から14階が客室。15階がレストランで朝飯もこちらになり、天気の良い日は桜島も見え、鹿児島らしい地元の料理が出た点では文句無いかと思います。しかし減点となったのは以下の点 ●ホテルの車止めが無いところ駐車場が少し離れたところにあるため荷物がある場合、どうしても車止めは必要かと思います。もう構造上仕方ないのですが、車で来た場合重い荷物を運ぶのにはやや辛いかなという印象を受けました。 ●提携駐車場がやや遠いチェックアウトの時晴れてる(雨天ではない場合)なら特段問題ないのですけど、雨が降っていたらややキツいかなと言う印象を受けました。 ●朝のレストラン内容は問題ないのですが名物「鶏飯」(けいはん)目当てに来ている宿泊者が多いと思います。しかし、補充が足りないというか出汁と米だけ残っており、具材補充の頻度が遅いかなという印象。食材を大切にする気持ちは理解しますけど少し疑問が ●廊下の音響問題たまたまなんですけど夜23時頃の話。フロント階にタバコを吸いに行った時、廊下を歩いていると他の室内からですが中の音が聞こえて来たのには少し閉口してしまいました。場所柄もあるのか解りませんが所謂オトナのお遊びの音なんですけど、防音はもう少し何とかして欲しいかなと感じました。色々書きましたが、基本室内もレストランも綺麗ですし鹿児島では悪くないレベルのホテルかと思います。確かに鹿児島では城山とかサンロイヤルが有名ですけど、便利性、値段を勘案するとこの先良いホテルになるのではないかと期待しております

This is a new hotel with bunk beds which can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The beds were spacious and a good size. We stayed in the executive bunk family room which can accommodate 6 persons. It may be a bit tight for 6 persons but just right for our family of 4. There is full size washing machine cum dryer in the room which is very useful for washing our clothes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast with a good spread but as there is no dining area, you need to pack your breakfast into bento boxes and eat them in your room. But we saw a sign which says breakfast will be separately charged from Jan 2024 onwards. Now, breakfast is complimentary and included in the room rate. The hotel also does not have car park but there is more then sufficient coin parking right next door which cost 600 yen from 2000 to 800. The location is quite central and a short 5-10 min drive to Tenmonkan. There is also a good ramen restaurant across the road from the hotel, Rai Rai Tei which is worth trying. Just a tip, we got a much better room rate on Rakuten than the usual Agoda, *********** sites.

The hotel is in the most convenient planetarium block for eating, drinking and playing. The room is not big but it is clean. There are buses nearby to and from the airport. It takes only ten minutes to go to the beach to see Sakurajima Volcano. It is not far from AEON. There is a streetcar downstairs.

This time, I used this hotel for the first time. The front desk is neither good nor bad ... But I thought I should study the treatment a little more. The public bath uses Fine Ten Water, and those with sensitive skin will feel the effects immediately. I also found Refa's shower head to be very comfortable to use, probably because the water pressure was higher than what I use at home. Use the hair dryer and your styling will look better than usual. Also, the room was equipped with a clothes deodorizer, and I was curious about this home appliance, so I was glad I was able to try it out. People who go to yakiniku etc. for dinner will probably find it very popular. The rooms are comfortable, but the public bath is recommended.

The appearance, the room, etc. feel old, but it is a walking distance to the astronomical museum, and it is less than 2 km if it is Kagoshima Chuo station, but it feels like it is a distance that cannot be walked in 1 km if it is Kagoshima station. The room is compact and has an outlet near the bed pillow and the charging is perfect. Isn't the cospa good enough considering the location and price?
