L hotel est bien placé sa terrasse à l extérieur est agreable. Il n y a malheureusement pas de parking réservé a l hotel. Le mobilier des chambres est un peu vieillot.,tabouret defonce frigo poussif

Hotel Rex is a decent choice when visiting Kalamata. It is centrally located (2-3 min walk to the city centre) and parking outside hotel is abundant. The building is very nice, old but well maintained. Staff excellent, breakfast simple but tasty and the rooms renovated. A/C was efficient and silent. To sum it up: Very decent hotel, nothing luxurious but nothing negative to talk about. If you need a "simple" stay without the amenities of a 5 star hotel, then hotel Rex is a safe choice.

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι σε ωραίο σημείο στο κέντρο της Καλαμάτας ωστόσο το κτήριο δεν είναι σε καλή κατάσταση: φθορές στο δωμάτιο στα πατώματα, υπήρχαν 2 πρίζες από τις οποίες η μια μόνο λειτουργούσε, το μπάνιο πεντακάθαρο αλλά οι κουρτίνες είχαν λεκέδες, όταν τακτοποίησαν το δωμάτιο ενώ λείπαμε δε βάλανε σεντόνι στο ένα κρεβάτι ενώ υπήρχαν παπλώματα （που είχαν χρησιμοποιηθεί από άλλους?） Η συμπεριφορά του προσωπικού ειναι εξαιρετική και το πρωινο πολύ καλό .

I went here for a frappe after visiting the Saturday market in Kalamata. It's an interesting old building in the pedestrianised area in the city centre. A good coffee and friendly service. Totally relaxing sitting under the orange trees.

+πρωινό και βραδινό -ηχομόνωση 000 Ζωγραφισμένοι τοίχοι ξεφλουδισμενοι τοίχοι Ξεθωριασμένα πατώματα και βγαλμένα ξύλα πατώματος 2 πρίζες σε 3κλινο Δε δουλεύει το ψυγειάκι Άκυρες τρίχες στα κρεβάτια Άκυρες τρίχες στο μπάνιο πριν καν μπούμε Ένα κρεβάτι είχε σπασμένο πόδι και ήταν πεσμένο Το aircondition δεν δουλεύει Ανύπαρκτος εξαερισμός Κάναμε μπάνιο και ο αφρός έκανε overflow από την αποχέτευση δαπέδου

Πήγαμε πρόσφατα 3ημερη εκδρομη με το σχολείο. Πραγματι οι σοβάδες ηταν σκισμενοι και οι πρίζες έτοιμες να βγουν. Τα σεντόνια δε ξέρω από ποτέ τα έχουν εκεί και αν ποτέ τα αλλάζουν διότι και είχαν ασχημη μυρωδιά και εγώ με κάποια αλλά άτομα ξυπνήσαμε την επόμενη μέρα με σπυράκια στο σώμα μας. Ευτυχώς τουλαχιστον είχαμε πάρει και μαξιλαροθήκες να μην πάθουμε κατι στο πρόσωπο. Το φαγητό που μας παρείχε το ξενοδοχείο για πρωινο και για βραδινό δεν ήταν και κατι το ιδιαίτερο αφού μερικά από αυτα ήταν μπαγιάτικα. Η εξυπηρέτηση καλή αν κανεις φυσικά μερικές εξαιρεσεις

We were able to check in early which was great. The room was OK, very clean but really needs a refurb as it is quite dated. We had a fridge with water which was nice. No mosquito nets on the doors so we weren't able to open them at night but there was aircon. Breakfast was good & plentiful. The building is beautiful and very central to the old town & market.

Horrible. Nos cambiaron de habitación para una “suite” igual de horrorosa q la anterior pero más grande. El colchón era espantoso con muelles que se te clavaban en la espalda. Eso si, la pagamos en metálico porque según el recepcionista nos hacía “mejor precio. De las 4 estrellas, dos se les cayeron hace mucho, mucho tiempo.
