We loved our stay at Horizon Blu! The view from our room was to die for and the breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning. The beach was a very short walk and had comfortable loungers with cute umbrellas. All of the wait staff was very attentive, polite and helpful. Thanks for making our stay in Kalamata a very memorable one!

A local Greek hotel with a large room and a large balcony where you can see the sea. The downside is that the lighting is dim, which is not too uncomfortable. The breakfast service is very good, the food is pure Greek style, and the latte is delicious.

Nice hotel, perfect pool, very clean, plenty of parking spaces.
The hotel is on a busy road, so the area around the pool bar often smells of exhaust fumes, which is probably made worse by the traffic lights right there. The traffic starts at around 6:00, and it is often very loud due to the unreasonableness of some moped and car drivers.
The beach can be reached across the road. It is clean but only around 20m wide with pebbles. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are free. Towels for the pool and beach are also free.
Room is very nice and big, with a view of the sea. Room service is perfect!
The breakfast service could be improved a lot: fried eggs cold, bacon cold, often there is no coffee or hot water for tea. There are often no cups or saucers.
The breakfast staff are really friendly, but the smile doesn't always help.
Overall we liked it, but I think 5 stars is a bit over the top. 4 stars are enough, breakfast 3 stars
Drink prices a bit too high: Aperol Spritz 10€, beer 0.4l 5€ etc.

Nice location, perfect view from the balcony, good breakfast. The levels of the hotel and connections between them were a surprise for us but interesting. This hotel helps us to enjoy the beautiful sea and small walking tours by the seaside, a perfect closure to our summer holidays!!

We stayed here for a week in early October. Weather wasn’t that great but that’s not the hotel’s fault! We had a superior sea view room which was worth it for the great view from the top floor and the larger balcony. The hotel is quite small and never felt crowded. There were always loungers by the pool. Breakfast was fine. Not amazing but perfectly decent. Loads of restaurants within easy walking distance along the promenade and the bus to Kalamata runs in front of the hotel. Only downside was the indoor pool could do with a revamp. The water was cold and the room was pretty dingy.
