Surrounded by nature, if you are looking for city comforts this place is not for you, but if you want to be away from city chaos is a perfect place, right on the water, turquoise color sea, available water activities like kayaking, canoeing, boat trips to different coves, sunken city etc. Only certain time of day it gets noises due to boat visitors. There is an ancient castle and Lycian tombs that attract tourists. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful sea view, was comfortable and spacious, the air conditioner works perfectly. Food was good but they can add more varieties in their menu though all the hotels/motels in the area had similar menus. On arriving at Simena, the hotel sent a motor boat to pick us up and we had a lovely boat trip to hotel with no cost. We stayed 3 nights and was hard to say goodbye to beautiful turquoise coast. Hoping to visit again

Like staying with long lost relations, we became a part of the family, the water is the clearest in the Med - Not just the Sunken City but check out the Aquarium... Fresh food, family friendliness, still somewhat of a secret 30yrs after our first visit.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in Ucagiz because our hotel was only accessible by sea. We had to leave the car in the village of Ucagiz and contact the pension so that someone would come and pick us up with our luggage. This introduction was a good surprise because the Anhk pension located in the small village of Kalekoy, dominated by a crusader fortress, is really charming and even if it remains a stopover on the daily cruises, in the evening calm returns, punctuated only by the passage of a few boats.
In addition, the village of Kalekoy specializes in the manufacture of excellent ice creams with unusual flavors.
The breakfast, complete with pancakes, is very nice served by an efficient team.
A place worth spending several nights there. The only negative point is the price of the rooms which is overvalued compared to the somewhat crude side of the accommodation, but fortunately the natural decor quickly makes you forget these material contingencies.
