This is a beautiful hotel situated in a perfect location, however in my opinion the hotel is severely overcrowded for the facilities that are available ll There is only one main pool with sun loungers crammed around, you need to be there before 8am to be sure of getting one. The beech area again is beautiful but to get a bed you need a very early start!!! The main restaurant becomes very busy after 7.30 and queue’s form with people waiting to be seated, the food is good but in my opinion quite repetitive. The main lounge bar is good and the evening entertainment is excellent but trying to get a drink is near impossible One waitress means that many Queue at the bar meaning the wait for service is unbelievable. I don’t know how many guests are using this place at one time but it seems like thousands are here now but the main bar can only seat around 2-3 hundred so it is inevitable that guests are going to be disappointed and poor reviews will come It is very difficult to book the specialist restaurants and again I feel this is due to the overpopulation against a relatively small number of covers available. My 3 star review is for a beautiful hotel that is severely overcrowded, understaffed and poorly managed this resort is a very average all inclusive resort

To the wonderfully staff, especially the manager, Kostas and Vasilis at the AMMUDA bar. Thank you so much. They made our stay unforgettable and did everything and above to make our days special. We will be back in September for sure. Thanks a lot!

Good but not excellent Don’t get me wrong the staff are all lovely, very friendly & helpful there is just some issues with the actual hotel itself Firstly it is very difficult to navigate around with a pushchair.. the lifts often didn’t work either leading to long waiting time (around 10mins) for a lift or having to climb stairs with the pushchair which isn’t ideal. Also inside the accommodation buildings there is lifts with doors you have to physically open which again is very difficult when you have a small child and a baby in a pushchair. The lifts are very tiny so wouldn't advise taking a double pram/ stroller as wouldn’t fit in. Luckily I took 2 single strollers or it would have been a big issue. The main lobby area is very easy with a pushchair however you have to go In and out of fire exit doors and in lifts to get to your actual room. Felt very strange to be using fire exits to get to where you needed to go. Also again difficult when pushing a pushchair and holding a young child’s hands. The baby pool is up steps which also didn’t make sense to me? As if the childrens park. Again, not very well planned out. The room itself was lovely. Nice and clean as is the hotel in general. There is some strange, silly rules however like you can’t take cookies, crepes, sandwiches ect.. away from the street food hub? You have to sit outside on the chairs to eat them but you can take ice cream? Didn’t really make sense as it’s not a restaurant just a snack bar? Also there isn’t enough highchairs in the restaurants at all. Sometimes we didn’t get one at all which meant having a baby sat on your lap whilst trying to eat which wasn’t ideal and a small toddler on an adults chair also not ideal. The food was lovely and there was an excellent choice. I just think overall the planning wasn’t great. I feel like it was designed by a single person without children but as it’s called “Helea Family Resort” it really should be easier for families.

Restaurant Tsouka: Wahnsinn, wahnsinn, wahnsinn. Alles so perfekt abgestimmt, perfekte Portionen, Service super. Barrierefreiheit: Naja was s

We went to this hotel for 11 nights arriving a few days before half term. The first few days were ok with regards to no queues for buffets and being able to get a sunbed. However once it was half term, the queues for the buffet and the sunbeds being reserved early did prove to be hard work. The staff worked so hard though, maybe just not enough staff. I booked a pool view room, however the view we had was a small bit of someone else's swim up pool and then countryside. I would not class this as pool view. I did speak to reception about this but was told it was a pool view. The range of food on the buffet was very similar at meal times and we did get a bit fed up especially evening meals. Did not live up to previous experiences we have had. On the plus side, the buffet at breakfast is amazing with lots of choice. The gyros at the beach were delicious. And the cocktails especially at the bar near reception were amazing. The a la cartes were delicious, we had the italian twice, best tiramisu ever, we had the greek for lunch where the service was amazing, and the sushi restaurant was delicious. What made our holiday extra special was the entertainment team. They were fab, fun and engaging. Every day they would bring the fun to the pool with water polo which my husband and 15 year old son loved. Darts every morning which all the family joined in with and water fitness before lunch. Loved the entertainment area, the evening mini disco at 8.30 was a highlight for my 7 year old followed by fun shows including acrobats, lion king, and the greatest showman. Thanks to all the entertainment team but a special thank you to Ivan. My 7 year old has adhd and Ivan was lovely with him, very patient and fun!! Ivan is an asset to the hotel and definitely made our holiday extra special. The facilities at the hotel are fab, football pitch and tennis court you can hire, water slides at the front and a cinema. Despite the few ******* we had, the hotel was fab overall and we would go back!!
