Lovely hotel, we stayed here September 2023, check in was pleasant, stergos and his cousin (apologies I am unable to recall your name) were welcoming and friendly. We upgraded our room upon arrival. Food, we found the food to be of a very high standard, fresh bread daily from the Sarikas bakery, to comment on other reviews regarding food being cold, I did not experience this as a problem, if you like food piping hot there is provision for you to reheat. There is fresh salad, vegetables and different items for consumption each day I didn't find myself struggling for something to eat and I am picky with food, my only comment for improvement to the hotel would be to provide chicken at the Gyros snack counter. The burgers and pizza I ate here were very good. Staff overall were friendly and made us feel at home. The cleanliness around the Hotel in general was great and I always felt like I was in a clean well presented and organised environment wherever I went. Rooms, we had upgraded rooms, they were nice and clean, however I did find 1 of the 3 rooms I stayed in (upgraded for available periods so moved 3 times) very small, the first was adequate but not spacious and the last was huge which was a whirlpool room, we also experienced the rooftop jacuzzi room initially as part of our upgrades, whirlpool room for me was ok, whirlpool was covered and not heated, some whirlpools are however in the sun, the rooftop terrace was wonderful and very private with a heated jacuzzi which I enjoyed very much. When I book a superior room space is an expectation as included for me personally as otherwise I don't see what makes it superior, just my opinion. All the rooms I stayed in were superior and only one provided great space, I understand that all rooms will not be exactly the same but it does seem to be a difficulty of the hotel layout that they are not all of a same size and layout, it didn't detract from our overall experience just to set expectations for other travellers with what to expect. Evening entertainment is good, it doesn't run late which I liked, I go on holiday to relax not to party and faliraki centre is a short taxi ride away if you want lively at night, the only issue in the hotel with entertainment is space, if you want to sit at a table you need to get there early, the lagoon pool bar area is not extensive enough in size to accommodate everyone really although I believe there is new adults only area including bar that is opening in 2024 so this should help solve this issue. The hotel has won sustainability awards which I find appealing, and also continues to improve things for it's customers which I really like, overall it felt like a home from home and very civilised in behaviours, the hotel do not tolerate poor behaviour which I endorse. A quick note re evening dining for men, you are expected to wear shoes to dinner, daytime dining you can wear sandals, it wasn't a problem to us but this seems to present issue for some people. I didn't find
