We only booked this at the last minute but we’re so glad we did! Just off the main road, its garden is an oasis with a lovely pool. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. But it is Victor the owner who makes the experience. He is such a warm and welcoming man who cares passionately about the environment and in a proactive sense. He couldn’t have been a better host which is evidenced by the fact that many guests stay here for months on end. He has also suggested that we use our room until 3PM before we leave for the airport. Not many hoteliers would do this. We thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Op onze reis van het zuiden naar Colombo zijn we hier twee nachten geweest. De locatie: Op 50 meter van het station en loopafstand (10/15 min) van het strand. Een grote supermarkt op 3 minuten lopen. Kamer: Een ruime kamer en dito badkamer. Zelfs een afscheiding tussen douche en de rest van de badkamer. Een zeldzaamheid in Sri Lanka ;). Het bed is comfortabel en alles is schoon Tuin: Het zwembad is heerlijk in de warmte van Sri Lanka. Ook de bedjes mét kussens zijn lekker op even op neer te ploffen. Keuken: De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om een (simpele) maaltijd te maken. Ontbijt: Twee ochtenden een verschillend Sri Lankaans ontbijt gehad. Erg attent van Victor om mij nieuwe dingen te laten eten. Ook een meer Westers ontbijt is mogelijk. De host (Victor): Een ongelooflijk aardige vent en altijd in voor een praatje. Hij is heel nieuwsgierig op een leuke manier en heeft zelf ook veel te vertellen. Zijn tip om op het strand te gaan kijken als de vissers hun net binnenhalen was geweldig. Wat kan er beter: De keuken staat heel vol en kan wat schoner. Geen grote dealbreaker voor de rest, maar wel een punt van aandacht. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad. Als je wilt reserveren neem dan direct met Victor op. Dit scheelt hem weer een fee betalen aan bijvoorbeeld booking of Agoda +94 (77) 759 5149

A great place for everybody who is searching for warm-hearted hospitality, a wonderful relaxing pool, deep conversations, lots of fun with the whole family and delicious real Sri Lankan breakfast. We booked one night and stayed finally 2 weeks. Thanks a lot for this fantastic experience! It was a great pleasure to meet you!
