"Wonderful Beachfront Stay with Excellent Service We had a wonderful stay at Turyaa Kalutara from July 26–27. The hotel has a beautiful location with excellent access to the beach, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. A special thank you to Duminda Gunasinghe, the Restaurant Manager, for his excellent service and for doing such a great job managing the restaurant so efficiently. His professionalism and attention to guests made a real difference to our experience. We were also impressed by how friendly and welcoming the entire restaurant team was. The hostesses, waitresses, and chefs were always greeting guests with a warm smile, creating a genuinely pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you as well to Dilmi from the cleaning services team for her exceptionally friendly and caring service. She was always pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with a beautiful beach location and a wonderful team that truly cares about its guests. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is nice and cozy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had gone for a chess tournament and the matches always ended late. The manager, Mohd Shahmir, made special arrangements for us to be able to use the pool after hours. The reception helped load the phones for us as our cards were not being accepted in Sri Lanka. The beach has nice sitting benches to enjoy the sea. July is a rough month for the sea so we could not swim but the views were breathtaking. I am sure this hotel is more hustling and bustling in the tourist season. One advice, buy your own water when you come. Hotels give only 2 half litre bottles a day and if you need more you have to buy except during meal times. In July it is very hot and humid. The super market is close and there are many small souvenir shops in the area. Tuk tuks are available at the gate at all times. Overall a nice experience."

"This is a great hotel with the best chefs in Sri Lanka. The food was superb. The staff were so helpful the rooms and public areas lovely however they need more guests. The combination of recent events ,the Covid crisis and an environmental problem have been negative. This is a great shame as the hotel is a great place to stay. Not a huge amount to see in the area but a trip to the turtle sanctuary was much enjoyed."

It feels like stepping into a hidden paradise where wildlife tranquility exist in perfect harmony! Truly a place to disconnect and relax! What makes this place also really special are the amazing staff, who always take care of us! They are always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy! Thank you again, you’re great, each one of you!! And then there is the food, absolutely outstanding! From breakfast to lunch and to dinner, every dish is freshly prepared with local ingredients and full of Sri Lankan flavour! Each meal is a highlight in itself! We have been traveling a lot through Asia but Sri Lanka and the Ududola Rainforest Resort hits different in a way we could never imagine! This was one of the best journeys we have ever had! Fresh fruits and coconuts were served every morning. the beach is a 5-minute walk away.Better places to relax with a child, a lot of local children. The owners were not expensive, and sometimes they helped with transport for free, took them to the store, hospital, excursions. Sumal is a great guy and very pleasant to talk to, like the whole family! Thank you very much!"

And we agreed on a safari on the river for 5000 for two) Great place!) 2 minutes walk to the beach) There is no fruit in the breakfast photo, they were brought a little later) They also allowed us to rinse off in the room after we had already checked out and returned to get our things) The bathroom is newly renovated))"
