The property have traditional outlook. It's perfect for anyone who want to experience the staying in Japanese style room. The only downside is since the building is old so you will need to watch out for the noise from other guests.

I was the only guest, so when I checked in, there was no one there and there was a phone number written on the front door, so I called the number and entered the room. The landlord was out of town. I was somewhat reluctant to enter the house while I was away.
I guess it can't be helped since it was an old house, but there were insects crawling on the hangers in the room. There was also no television.

Cozy, comfy little guesthouse run by a super-nice and engaging young man who is a "modern Samurai" - dresses the part, super knowledgable about the area, very socially engaged with helping developmentally disabled kids in the area. I wish I'd had more time to stay and talk with him, he seemed like such a great guy. He'll even make you breakfast! Convenient location (2 min walk to a bus stop and 10 min walk to Kamakura station). It's a small place, I think it only has two rooms. If you want a "hotel" environment then look elsewhere, but if you want a personal, homey experience, I recommend it highly and want to come back.
