"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The public bath was large and relaxing.
There is no convenience store nearby - you need to walk towards the station to visit the closest (Family Mart) which takes about 5mins one way.
There were 2 things that bothered me:
1. Position of TV. You can’t be on the bed to watch as you cannot turn the TV towards the bed.
2. There were 2 chairs and a table and the height of the table and the part you sit on the chair was same. Therefore I had to bend so much to reach down to eat which was quite frustrating"

"Had a last-minute change of plans and ended up staying at Sotetsu, and it was surprisingly good! It felt very much like a 'Quanjishangpin' (a Chinese hotel chain known for comfort and value). The room was small but had everything I needed. It was super lucky to even find a room on a weekend, and it was quiet at night. Everything went smoothly."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right by Ofuna, JR Ofuna Station, making it very convenient to get around on foot. The Shonan Monorail is also right next door, which is super handy. I think the price of 800-900 per night for this accommodation is reasonable. It feels newer than the Sotetsu hotels; this hotel doesn't look like it was renovated years ago, it seems quite new. The room size is also bigger than the Sotetsu chain hotels I've stayed in before, with enough space for two or three suitcases."

"Even though it rained heavily that day and we couldn’t see Mount Fuji from the room, our affection for the hotel wasn’t affected. The room was decent and spacious, and the most impressive part was the Japanese restaurant. The service and food were amazing, and it became one of our favorite restaurants on the trip."

"This was my first time traveling abroad, my first time traveling alone, and my first time flying alone. The hotel receptionist, Umiya, was Japanese, and we communicated in English just like good friends. In the evenings, the common area was filled with people from all over the world – Filipinos even gave me snacks, and there were Koreans, French, and Argentinians. It felt like a crossroads, forming a big, temporary family. It's also incredibly close to Kamakura Beach, just a short walk away. This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at."

"I didn't realize there was no TV when I made the reservation and was quite surprised upon entering the room. I understood the concept of escaping daily life, which explained the absence of a TV or clock. However, I had something I wanted to watch that day, so it was a slight disappointment.
The hotel itself is stylish, and both the room and bathroom were spacious enough for a comfortable stay. The breakfast, offering three choices, was also very satisfying.
It was also closer to the station than I expected, which was very convenient."

Overall I enjoyed it a fair amount! Did hikes and close walk to the sea too!"

"Although small, it has everything and is well equipped. The hotel is in a good location, close to the bus station and convenient to tourist attractions. It is suitable for 2 people and preschool children. If 3 people live there, they can't even open the boxes, so choose carefully. The reliability of facilities needs to be improved. The door lock of our room was not very good. We had to wait for the staff to help open it at 9:00 in the morning, which was a bit time-consuming."

"The greatest things about this hotel is location and amenities. Location is very close to station, strategic with many food stall and stores, easy to find, and good neighborhood. Also the provide us with so much amenities for free. Basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand and face wash, they also provide us with extra like pajamas, cleansing oil, hair curler, bath powder, ice cube, etc. Love to stay again in this hotel"
