This hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Ofuna Station, surrounded by numerous excellent dining options, including Jiro-style ramen, BBQ, and fast food, many of which are open late into the night. It's also easy to catch the monorail or train to Enoshima from here. The hotel's service was outstanding, truly among the best I've experienced at Japanese hotels. Breakfast is served until 9:30 AM, which is later than any other Japanese hotel I've stayed at. Plus, their queen rooms feature a very comfortable 1.6-meter large double bed."

The Prince Hotel's room view is absolutely stunning, directly facing Shichirigahama Beach with Enoshima in the distance. It's practically a Kamakura must-visit all in one spot, and there are many beautiful cafes down the hill.
Although it's located on a hill, there's a direct elevator from the bottom of the hill up. I highly recommend taking this 'mountain-climbing' elevator, especially if you have luggage – it's super convenient.
It's only a few minutes' walk from Kamakura Koko Mae, the Slam Dunk filming location. The entire area is scenic with the Enoden train. Waking up early to take photos there without crowds is amazing. I also recommend taking the Enoden train for one stop, it's only 200 yen, and you'll have a great time!"

"The 28 sqm must be the built-up area, right? The furniture placement was already extremely compact, and the bathroom was so cramped that one person had to be careful just to turn around. The sink was tiny, requiring us to be extra cautious. In contrast, the toilet area was slightly more spacious. Surprisingly, there was no TV in the room, which was something we found very difficult to adjust to.
The hotel's location is very close to Kamakura Station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.
The service was good, just like in other cities in Japan.
Overall, the value for money wasn't high enough."

"The staff were very friendly, and as soon as I arrived at the front desk, I knew I'd made a good choice. They had the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper, and breakfast included dessert, making it feel more like dinner. The Kamakura vegetable salad was beautiful and delicious, and the freshly baked bread was so good I had seconds.
However, it's a bit far from the station, so I took a taxi; I wish the hotel offered a pick-up service."

"This Japanese-style hotel offered spacious rooms. However, we encountered some issues: a spider found its way into our room, and even worse, my friend caught a very large cockroach in their closet. This made me quite uneasy sleeping on the tatami, as I couldn't help but worry about bugs crawling on me. On the positive side, the location is excellent; it's just a 5-minute walk to Enoden Yuigahama Station, and Yuigahama Beach is a mere 400 meters away, making it incredibly convenient for getting around."

Absolutely great experience. Villa is very comfortable. The host provided everything: towels, toiletries, washing liquid - end everything is top quality! Also kitchen is well equipped and there was a supply of tea and coffee, cooking oil, seasoning. Plus there you can find everything for beach holiday - umbrella, backpacks. In a wrod everything you need is forseen and provided, and the everything is high end quality. Plus he sent us a guid on local attractions, food and places of interest.
Highly recommended!
I'd definitely stay there again.

It's super close to Kamakura Station, only a 3-minute walk, which is really convenient for getting around. Komachi-dori, right next to the station, has a fantastic variety of restaurants. I tried the conveyor belt sushi and Kyoto Katsugyu fried beef cutlet, both of which were delicious.

It's a little far from the station, but it's close to the sea and has a lot of local feeling. The interior of the historic building can be felt particular. There is a drink bar where you can drink coffee. I became a fan completely. Thank you for your help.

LAVENIA PRATAMAWe got room 202, but unfortunately, the electronic lock was broken, so we had to call the hotel numerous times to find a solution.
After about 30 minutes, we finally managed to open the room.
The facilities are very complete and everything works normally.
There's just no wardrobe, so we stored our clothes in the spa room.
The location is very strategic.
Near the station, the beach, the bus stop, and the convenience store.
Overall, I highly recommend it for those staying in the Enoshima area. ❤️

The room is consistent with the picture, very warm, the bedroom has a small balcony, there is a separate living room and kitchen area, the bathtub, washing, bathroom are separated, and the space for two people is enough. Self-check-in and check-out, a few minutes walk from Jiangzhi Electric Yaoyue Station and Jiangzhidao Station. It is recommended to get off at Jiangzhi Island. There are many foods around and there are two large supermarkets. There is a temple nearby, and the tram at the entrance of the temple is very popular. If you don't receive the room door password, you can call the landlord at the door. The landlord's attitude is very nice. Recommended stay.

My dream was a spending a night in Japanese house with a traditional breakfast and I finally had this experience. I had heard about Bushi-san before, but in real life he turned out to be an even nicer person than I imagined. A lot of my friends like to travel to Japan. And now I persuade each of them to visit Kamakura, and I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It was absolutely wonderful

This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward)
Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days, and I really enjoyed the comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I was surprised that the owner spoke Korean so well, and it was great to be able to converse with them. They kindly recommended restaurants near the hotel, and you can even drink and hang out with them at night. It seems they really love Korean music! If I ever come to Kamakura again, I'd love to stay here.

Nearby are Hase-dera Temple and the Great Buddha, and it's also convenient to get to the beach.
The accommodation is excellent, and the toilets and showers are very clean.
The soundproofing is a bit poor; if you encounter loud-talking guests, you can clearly hear them in the room. It depends on the guests you encounter.
Overall, it's quite good.

It's really close to the station and there's a convenience store nearby.
But the bathroom space is really a bit too small, and there are no shelves to store things, which is not very convenient.
In addition, the hair dryer is also broken and cannot blow hot air out😥
