The picture given of the cheaper “rooms” doesn’t show the outside. Pictures looked like they might be basic huts, but when I got there I was surprised by these low structures. They looked like dog kennels. When the local guy opened three door, it was so hot, I thought it’s more like an oven! 😅 On my way back, I saw this traditional grave and that reminded me, the best way to describe them is like traditional Chinese/ Asian graves. I switched to the air-conditioned room but there was no soap, shampoo, or shower gel. The room also spelled. I asked where I could get these things, and the local guy told me about a supermarket nearby but didn’t tell me what time it closes so I didn’t get to take a shower! The British sounding owners just sit there like mystery shoppers. Not a word! The only plus was that the food proportion was quite good for the price and I also saw a Tokay gecko. Also, wasn’t a fan of the stray dogs and the pools looked gross with the owners daughter and mostly locals swimming in the smaller one. If you aren’t on a strict budget and without a joint to overlook the inconveniences, maybe save on the tuktuk ride and stay at one of the hotels in town. Also, the spa closes quite early.

The place is very nice! A little bit far from the city center but very easy to move around with tuktuk. Really recommend!

A beautiful, relaxing and magnificent place with a beautiful garden, comfortable and welcoming bungalows. The staff is attentive to your needs, and the natural swimming pool without chemical treatment is refreshing. Once you know this place you never want to leave! I recommend.

Delightfull countryside location away from the town buzz. Natural no chemical swimming pool , adjacent bubble pool, sauna and sun loungers- all in an intimate setting with a choice of good value accomodation. Staff are ever helpful , hiring a motorbike or taxi is made simple, accessing Kampot is merely a short ride away. Food is good quality and wholesome - I shall hopefully return for more of the same.....

An absolutely lovely place to stay. A lovely oasis with great staff and good food. Great pools and lounge places and a fun bar. Wish i could have stayed longer. Highly recomend the place. It is a bit further out from the center but that also makes it such a nice retreat.

Absolutely loved my stay here, Mike, Michelle, Farr, Nene and Rady are all amazing very hospitable friendly people! &make your stay very comfortable. I kept extending my stay and even stayed down in the dorms afterwards. Such a lush place, with a natural pool, gym and spa facilities - not to mention the yummiest food and a menu that caters for all! 10/10 would recommend to anyone going to Kampot, would definitely stay again too 😁

Great place to stay if you are comfortable renting a scooter which is a close drive into town!

The Bohemiaz is a smalk quiet and reasonably priced hotel. The rooms are clean the staff are friendly and the restaurant serves delicious food.

We stayed at Bohemiaz for one night and it was really pleasant. I struggled a little bit with the amount of mosquitoes but I do tend to get bitten more than anyone and react quite badly to it. The room was basic but what do you expect at those prices. The setting is lovely as were the people. Mike, the guy running it, is really welcoming, accommodating and can’t do enough for people. He’s also a really good laugh and makes the atmosphere at the resort.

We ended up staying 3 months at this place with a pool side view. We enjoy the jaccuzzi every after work. We played table tennis and billiards every afternoon. This place is perfect. You can meet locals and expats beacuse they have events almost every night. You will enjoy the sense of community here enjoying movie nights. The best part of this place is the swimming pool, a must visit / try. The room is very decent we had the fan room, because of the very good ventilation and a lot of trees around the place is cool in temperature, AC is not needed. The bathroom is big, a bit old but decent. They have cleaning service its up to you wanted to pay extra or clean the room by your self. We always eneded up cleaning again perhaps our standard of cleanliness is different. The old lady(cleaner) seems like she just change linens but not throughly clean the entire room, younger lady (cleaner) cleans our room perfectly we are always happy when she does our room. She cleans the fan, sweep everthing and the room always smells good. This is place approx. 6.5 km from Kampot centre but it was totally OK. Motorbike rent was just $50 a month renting it from the centre. Lisa, Salim, Toy and Skelly are very helpful and friendly, you will enjoy staying at this place. 100% recommended. The restuarant sells Kambucha which is the best in town and the food here is great with a very reasonable price. The wifi is good too, you can have a decent zoom meeting with the wifi connection. The the staff listens to your concerns and suggestions, the manager is awesome and friendly. We will definitely come back here.

To flee ! The room does not have any real ventilation (I say “real”, you will understand why), so the smell in the room and especially in the bathroom was nauseating! The room has only one fan that blows hot air, it's difficult to get to sleep! Everything was dirty: mold, hair (which wasn't ours) in the bathroom and in the bed, I don't think the sheets were changed. However, if you like animals you will be served: spiders, lizards, crickets, mosquitoes, etc. This is normal and the mosquito net really saved us (despite it being dirty and full of holes). However, when you have a mouse and a rat coming into the room in the middle of the night, it's really not fun anymore. Indeed, there are big holes in the ceiling and any animal can get in... When we told this at reception, the first person told us that she would come back to us, we are still waiting for her. So we went to see a second person who was clearly laughing in our face and no action was made. The area deserves a good cleaning. The worst hotel of our trip to Cambodia. This is a shame because the location is nice.
