Suorsdei Sawadee
"I can confidently say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at so far in Cambodia. It’s located in a very central area, within walking distance to the main attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly and cools the room very well. There is a smart TV with internet access, and it runs smoothly without any issues. The reception staff are professional and helpful. They clearly know what they’re doing and are always ready to assist. The hotel also provides motorcycle parking. At night, security takes the motorcycles inside and places them back outside in the morning, which I really appreciated from a safety perspective. There is an elevator in the building, which is convenient. This is my second stay at this hotel, and they even recognized me upon check-in. Although check-in is officially at 2 PM, they kindly gave me my room at 12 PM. Hot water is available with no problems. My room also had a balcony, which is great if you want to step outside and get some fresh air. Both the room itself and the bathroom are quite spacious. The price is also very reasonable. Honestly, under these conditions, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the Kampot area. If you’re looking for a clean, reliable, centrally located hotel without unpleasant surprises, I highly recommend staying here."
Montagne Residence
"A very beautiful place and also quite calm place for couples, family and friend. I would love to visit there again if i go to Kampot next time."
AHHA Boutique Kampot
"I was in this Boutique for 1 week, and I had a great time. It's a really nice place to just relax, and it's well cleaned, and the rooms are comfy. I loved the pool, especially after a long hot day. Absolutely great."
Montagne Boutique
"Room was large and comfortable but cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. The building had a bad habit of shaking at all hours of the day and night - not always because a train was going past. I’m a deep sleeper so didn’t notice noise the train or trucks from the road but if you are, I’d suggest the sister hotel (the residence). It is a 5 minute tuk tuk or scooter ride from the river and dining around the hotel is limited."
Twin Hotel Kampot
"I have spent a couple of nights at this hotel – booking quite early, I managed to get it for roughly 30 USD per night. This is a great price and I overall had a good stay. While I booked a standard room which would have had just a window towards the floor (not sure why I did this), I received an upgrade to a room with a balcony. The room was more spacious than the one I had book and despite not using the balcony at all, it was good to get some light into the room. The room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. Housekeeping was good as well. Having said so, the cheap price came along with some caveats: Noisy AC, fridge not properly cooling, noise at some nights from people „chilling outside“ on the floor (those from a smaller rooms without a balcony, chatting and smoking until midnight), and again noise – from the building next door which hosts a „bird nest city“ underneath its roof (something you see a lot in Kampot; they grow bird nests for making soups), so hundreds of birds constantly singing day and night. If you are a light sleeper, definitely stay elsewhere. I always sleep with earbuds, still it was a bit annoying. Last but not least: While there is hot water in the shower during the day, there wasn‘t on any of the mornings (not a huge issue as „cold water“ was not really cold, still it bothered me). I booked this hotel also because of the swimming pool – which is unfortunately useless as it is in a small and shady corner on the ground floor without any sun beds, so you really don't want to hang out here (don‘t trust the pictures) – this was really a shame. Hotel staff is really friendly but hardly speaks any English and therefore is not of any help with question you might have. Frequented by many foreign guests, it would certainly help if the staff spoke slightly better English. The hotel‘s location is good, a bit off the centre (5-8min walk) – feasible, even at night, or just take a tuk tuk. Small supermarket next door. I give this place just four stars because of the price and the room – but not sure if I would stay here again."
KKP HOTEL
"Good location, clean and comfort bed with friendly staffs."
Chateau Kampot
"Excellent hotel. Probably the best in Kampot. Rooms are spacious, well designed and the bed is comfy. Would definitely stay there again, but breakfast could be improved. Facilities are good ( gym, pool and spa) but the ladies in the spa are not friendly."
Nyna Villa Guesthouse
"Good services"
Montagne Regency
"Nice pool and friendly staff. Just next to the train station. Our friend got a rat at his room one night so not to happy. They promised to look over it but did not even clean the room after the rat had eaten his snacks."

Komsan Kampot Resort
"The resort is beautiful, set along the Kampot River with scenic mountain views and fresh air. It offers a spacious environment with a variety of activities suitable for all ages, making it ideal for quality family time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—we had good food, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. We would love to return for our next holiday."
Devi Kampot Resort
"The whole resort is beautiful. So many places to chill by the river. Room was very comfortable and bathroom was big with a wonderful hot shower. Staff were amazing, always happy, friendly and went above and beyond. Easy to rent moto and very accessable by tuk tuk too! We ended up extending an extra 2 nights, can't wait to go back already! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
Champa Lodge
"Very overpriced, poorly maintained and neglected place. I paid 60 British pounds for a 2 day stay in the Boathouse. The property is right on the river and has splendid views but it is well past its best and in need of renovation. There is no aircon and no fridge, the outside bed mattress was missing and pillows were very dirty. The windows are slatted and have no mosquito meshing so you will be eaten alive. The whole building itself was very dirty and unattractive and nothing like the pictures. The staff were all asleep when I arrived in the public areas and totally disinterested. The worst thing was the fact that there was a dead dog in the river right beneath my balcony by the pontoon. It had probably been there for a few days. I alerted the manager and he pushed it away with a stick. 5 minutes later it was there again. Apart from the dead dog there were lots of plastic bottles in the river near my room. I booked this place for my birthday and it was very disappointing indeed. I definitely wouldn't go back. All the positive reviews about this place and pictures are misleading. "Dead dog" pretty much sums up the whole place. Avoid!"
Kampot River Residence
"The environment was good and quiet"
The B Resort
"I stayed at The B Resort from May 6–7, 2026, and had a really good experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful views, especially around the pool and garden areas. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well designed with a modern tropical style. I especially liked the unique bathroom setup and the relaxing outdoor surroundings. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever I needed assistance. The location is also convenient — quiet enough to relax, but still close to the main areas in Kampot. The resort looks exactly like the photos and videos, and the overall environment feels calm and refreshing, both during the day and at night. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Kampot who wants a relaxing stay with good service and a nice atmosphere."
Castle Bayview Resort & Spa
"The hotel was very nice, clean, and had beautiful scenery."
THE SQUARE KAMPOT HOTEL
"The Hotel and Breakfast is good, but I cannot sleep all night deep because of the Air-Conditioner noise. I love everything just only one thing is disturbing my sleep."
The Moon Kampot Boutique
"Absolutely the worst place you could stay in kampot. Lots of stones from ex quest raise Big Red Flags. Manager is a smart mouthed young girl who's uncle owns most of kampot. Frequently no power or WiFi. TV reception is crap rooms leaking water, jackhammer at 6.30am Mosque singing all hours day and night, KTV bar 50mtrs away playing until 3am. Pool is filtered 3 nights a week. Clean rooms once a week. And pay $85.usd for 4weeks electricity not using aircon. This place is a NIGHTMARE. Do not stay thete no matter how desperate you are. "
The Cozy Corner-Budget Hotel
"Very friendly personal, clean and silent place 👍"
Lodge Moni Essara Kampot
"Stayed here with a large group for work and it was really wonderful. The manager and staff are so attentive and helpful. Thanks to Mr. Seyha and his team! The grounds have plenty of things to do for activities in both rain and sun. Really beautiful quiet spot in Kampot."
Villa Vedici
"Stayed in a range of hotels in SE Asia, and this was probably the most memorable - in a bad way. I don't know how any location can have a 'view' of the river, the room was dirty, dark and not well cared for. There was a hole in the wall of our room (yes, a hole) that was covered with a metal paper that flapped in the a/c breeze all night, to the point of insanity. when we complained the upgraded our room (how nice!) but charged us the difference in price (not surprised!) The pics and positive (outdated) reviews REALLY oversell this place. We were sort of counting the hours til we could check out and move on."
Rainforest Hotel by Nsun
"Sweet hotel in Kapmot that exceeded all my expectations. The staff were friendly and breakfast was amazing"
