Tzaneria Apartments Skiathos

Fantastic! Our stay with Eva was so lovely I am a little ashamed I have not got round to reviewing earlier! We stayed last August 2023. Firstly the location was amazing, just a short walk (sub 5 mins with 2 small children) from bustop 12. The rooms are situated above a fab supermarket, covering more than just the essentials: beach gear, bakery, coffee, etc with very friendly staff. A stones throw from tzaneria beach, or a short walk (a little verticle, but worth it) to kanapitsa. For those more adventurous you have a fantastic, hilly ＜5km (ish) walk around the southern tip of the island with fantastic views. Vrom and kolios beaches within reasonable distance, or a quick trip, couple stops on the bus either way to achladias or paraskevi for those who'd rather skip the trek. Regular water taxis make for a great way to get into town, nearest being at tzaneria, times displayed at the jetty The buses are very regular throughout the day Lots of restaurants dotted nearby Eva was the perfect host welcoming us to share her wonderful home. The apartments were spacious, clean, a well equipped kitchen, homely decor and sported great views from the balcony. Lots of little touches, which were reflected in the online photos, added to a very pleasant experience. Needless to say we shall be returning again soon

Wonderful location and perfect host. We stayed for 8 nights before heading into town for the remainder of our holiday. Beautiful, spacious apartment, 2 adults, 2 children (2&5), well equipped kitchen,lovely decor and feels so homely. Great balcony, views, superb supermarket underneath, lovely coffee and bakery. Close to a wonderful beach with boat access to town. Some lovely restaurants in walking distance and bus stop at the end of the road. To top it off Eva the host is truly fabulous. We will be back!

Very upset. We arrived at the property to find it locked up. I called the number left in previous communications but there was no answer but left a voicemail message. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from a gentleman saying he was from the local booking agency to say the property owner was away and that we should find alternative accommodation! This was a ridiculous and unhelpful comment as it was 29th January and the island was not in tourist season, so this was almost impossible. We had just arrived on the only daily flight on the island and it was now 5pm. He then asked if we were actually on the island! Of course we were as we had said were outside the property! He said he would find an alternative apartment. The gentleman then called back to say he had organised accommodation at the Polykratis Apartments in the town centre. This was by the Polykratis Restaurant and for our trouble he was arranging a free meal. However, the ccommodation was terrrible (damp, musty and a very small cheap room unlike the spacious apartment we had booked at Tzaneria) plus the restaurant was a building site and obviously not open for business. we told him the room was terrible and that he would find another place for us. We went looking ourselves and found a room at the Meltemi Hotel on the harbour front, being one of only 2/3 hotels open. The gentleman then called back to say he had found a 2 bedroom apartment for us - at the Meltemi! There was no apartment. We are very disappointed

Superb position very close to lovely beach . Above supermarket ( run by owner of apartments), for goods. Eva very helpful and met us with welcome pack. Apartment clean and pretty, in lovely setting. On the bus route serving all the Skiathos beaches. Water taxi from the beach to Skiathos.
