Hotels with Bars in Kanazawa

My family (2 kids) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed the city as well as the hotel. I will start with the positives. We stayed at a one bedroom suite with laundry machines which is very convenient and by far the largest hotel room we stayed in Japan. Our kids slept comfortably in the living room on the sofa. The kitchen is very well designed with a huge fridge and sitting areas. The front desk was very helpful in my trip planning with onsen suggestions and they also booked us kimono rental and restaurants after we checked in. The lobby is spacious and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. The location is very conveient being right by the JR station and a big shopping mall. I only have 2 minor issues. First, they weren't willing to make us dinner reservations before check in which seems to be an overal issue with Japan hotels. Second, the breakfast offering is way better at Hyatt Centric, the sister hotel next door and is connected at the lobby area. however, we were turned away when we tried to get breakfast at Hyatt Centric even though some prior reviews said they wre able to do that.

This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Hyatt Centric Kanazawa has a strategic location, located just 2 mins walk from Kanazawa Station. The room is super huge and the cleanliness of the room was kept in tip-top condition, super happy and satisfied with my stay, will definitely come back again!🤩🤩

The hotel definitely feels a bit old and tired, but it's still very clean and comfortable with excellent service. I was upgraded to what was essentially a junior suite due to my status and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my taste but luckily there was a harder pillow in the closest. The toilet has an automatic bidet which will raise the lid as you get near it and then automatically flush (fancy!). Every morning the staff would also provide newspapers, which I thought was really old school. Location-wise this hotel can't be beat. You're literally right next to Kanazawa Station which gives you easy transportation access and also puts you close to dining options. There are a lot of malls around the station with good restaurants and shops. There's also a large 711 just a few steps away. The only gripe I had about the room was that I found the sink area to be a bit too small and there was little space for me to put my toiletries.

The hotel has a great style and design aesthetic. There are many wonderful details that make this a great place to stay. The hotel is well located between the fish markets and castle and a short drive from the rail station. All the main sights are in walking distance from the hotel. The entrance is very subtle and hints at the discoveries to come as you enter the hotel proper. The lobby/breakfast area looks amazing has great examples of local art and crafts spread around as well as snacks and drinks. There is a screened entry to each room which a nice detail. A compact but beautifully designed room awaits. Everything is catered for and has its own place. The spa bath was so good. We has a wonderful stay. The staff are efficient and friendly. Some were not always confident with english but language was no barrier. All are dressed in traditional clothes and despite being a modern hotel the service felt very traditional. The breakfasts were great with a choice between Japanese and Western. The local choice was best. Would recommend the UAN if you are in Kanazawa.

The hotel location is excellent. Take a bus from JR train station to Xianglinfang, just across the road. The station for the return trip is downstairs, and it is about 1 km to walk to Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. Various restaurants are hidden in the surrounding paths, and one Michelin star Otome Sushi is 600 meters away. Next to the hotel is Uniqlo on the third floor and ABC Mart on the second floor in Tokyu Mall. Opposite is Daiwa Department Store in Kanazawa's highest-level mall. There is a foil shop on the negative first floor. When you go out and turn right across two roads, you will find LOFT. Behind the hotel is Da Guo Medicine Makeup. The hotel has parking lot 🅿️ can be reached by car. We lived in a 23-square-meter room, enough to spread out two 26-inch suitcases, the bathroom was large, the bedding was comfortable, and the first night I didn't even recognize the bed and slept very well

Lovely, modern and comfortable hotel located in the middle of Kanazawa touristic area and short walk from the station and shops. Accessible to main attractions of Omicho Market (across the street), Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle. I'd stayed here in 2018 and was delighted to be back in spite of the restaurant for drinks/ dinner still being closed post Covid. Breakfast well presented with a wonderful panaramic view. Front desk on 16th floor are well organized helpful and polite. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle, and within walking distance of Omi Seafood Market. The hotel room is relatively large and very nice. The service is very good, there is a parking lot, 1,000 yen/night. The rooms are clean, hygienic and very cost-effective

I went to Kanazawa for 10 years at work, and this time I tried to stay for the first time for one night of the regular inn. It was a good location standing in front of the station, and it was a good hotel? As a point that I personally worried about, the ＊ parking lot is too dark. ＊ There is no loan of air cleaner. (now any hotel) ＊ The room is cold even if you adjust the air conditioning. ＊ Anyway, the sound of the corridor is noisy and can be heard inside the room. (footsteps, voices) ＊ wifi is difficult to connect. ＊ The desk is small to open a personal computer and work. It was the part I felt. Also, why is the front desk arranged like this? It was so wide that I thought, and the staff was wasting time, and it took time to find documents to sign whether they were not ready in advance. It's too large and round, so I felt that it would be better if I could see a lot of personal information and take a little more shelf or box or something to show it clean. I didn't think it would be possible to stay at the regular inn, but I think I can stay someday.

The upper and lower rafts are very distinctive, the sharing space is large and not repeated, foreigners stay in more places, it is convenient to go anywhere and the bus stop is all at the door...

I’m here now and want to write about my experience as it’s happening. I’m blown away at this property. The beauty, the people, the quiet…except for the waterfall which you hear if you’re outside. I have a balcony room. The AC is splendid! There’s a tub inside the large shower area. The shower water is a little weaker than I normally care for, but YMMV. Breakfast is a huge buffet with very nice options, all Japanese and all high quality. Both mornings, I’ve been served an amuse. Tonight I’ll try dinner for the first time here, and no doubt it’ll be delicious. If you opt out of housekeeping, they leave you a big bag of two each large towels, hand towels and bath towels. Housekeeping is as quiet as a church mouse. I arrived at the Kanazawa train station, and even though I knew that there would be a shuttle bus, and which side to exit from, I didn’t know which one was mine. This information is not on the website, so I’ll tell you that you exit on the west side, and upon exiting, turn to the right, where the group bus waiting area is. And watch for a bus that is white with an orange *****e on the front. One other word of caution. There are two hotels that are named the same. Just because you see the hotel name on the outside, that may not be yours. Do you want to be sure that the driver and the accompanying guide know that the one you want is on this particular street. It’s a really new hotel, as it’s only been open for about a year. I upgraded and got the lounge access and that’s been totally worth it! The afternoon suites are so stunningly gorgeous and there’s a cocktail hour also in the afternoon, but I think it’s really like three or four hours long. The staff speaks their English, but have your Google translate ready for words that they may not automatically know. However, I will say they are extremely eager to understand and please you. I highly recommend this hotel!!
