"The hotel is quiet and clean with nice Onsen (natural hot spring baths). The location is near the train station but not near enough to hear the trains. The dinner and breakfast were both good. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. It was raining (pouring actually) on us prior to our arrival and they dried our shoes, dried our umbrellas, and wiped us off when we walked in. We're definitely staying there again only for longer next time."

"Our opening experience wasn’t great. You enter at street level into a minimal shop. Like the previous reviewer, we too arrived at 3 and were told we were too early to check in. We asked if we could have a drink in reception and were told reception was empty because we were too early. It wasn’t welcoming. On return, after 4, we were welcomed and shown to a stylish and pleasant room. Yes, the sink looked like it came from a local prison, but the bed was comfy, the space was vast and the bathroom well stocked. Location wise, we found this hotel to be well suited. The front noise from the crossing was considerable, but ear plugs dealt with that for us. The breakfast was sad. Silent, uncomfortable and frankly miserable. Low lighting, uncomfortable chairs and no atmosphere whatsoever. We liked the style choices of the hotel, although it was very minimal, but it was no hotel experience. It was just a room to rent. The staff were polite and tried to bridge our language gap. We liked the location, the mattress and the room itself! We would not return or recommend to others due it’s sombre, cold and unwelcoming atmosphere."

No possibility of going in the garden, nothing outside (even to have a walk…), nothing to do except the onsen, borrowing except for the atmosphere…"

Lots of surprise items such as bath salts, shoe heater which made the stay extra memorable. Highly recommended!"

"The Koko Hotel surprised us with its service for guests, such as welcome drinks and good breakfast, as well as its large rooms occupied with a sofa and table in there. Besides, the hotel is located right in the city center, that is very convenient for exploring Kanazawa's main tourist destinations, museums, and even for shopping. However, what we really appreciated was the hotel's staff. We had never encountered such warm hospitality, respect, and assistance in our problem that we had faced as we arrived to the hotel. To be specific, my son lost his bag, but he couldn't remember where it could happen whether it was in a local bus from the Kanazawa station or in a highway bus that we took from Shirakawa-go station. The hotel manager called both the local bus company as well as and to the highway bus company to get reliable information. Unfortunately, the bag couldn't been find."

"The location is extremely convenient as the hotel is directly connected to Kanazawa Station. It was very easy to go everywhere since the hotel is inside the station building itself — just enter the station and take the elevator to the 3rd floor for reception. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful during the self check-in process at the machine. The room was comfortable, clean, and quite spacious. The hotel also provides luggage storage, which was very convenient while waiting for the next train schedule. It was also very easy to find food because there are many restaurants around the station, plus a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby."
