Kanazawa Hotels with Kitchens

"Overall, my experience at this hotel was great. The environment was quiet and comfortable, and the decor felt quite new, making for a very relaxing stay. The room itself was clean and tidy, with complete amenities. Having a washing machine and microwave was really practical, especially for a multi-day stay. The location was also good, making it convenient to get to attractions and restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly and easy to communicate with. All in all, it offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended for anyone visiting Kanazawa."

"This is the kind of homestay where many people live together. There is only a separate space for three people, and the rest are public facilities. The hotel’s location is about 10-15 minutes away from the station. In a street full of restaurants, the convenience store is far away, but the izakaya next to it is very characteristic. There are more locals, the owner is very enthusiastic, and a large conch is also presented. . The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic, and patiently help us guide the way. It may be that we are used to living in an environment with a separate bathroom, but feel that the private space is too small and inconvenient. There is nothing in the room except the quilt. We are not used to it and can only go out and stroll around. If you don’t mind these, language communication is barrier-free, and those willing to interact with locals, you can choose here."

"Very convenient location. Walk about 10' from the east exit of the Kanazawa station. Easy to find. The stairs are steep and the owner helped me to carry my luggage to the 1/F, where my bed was. When I was back at night, he showed me around and gave me the necessary details in person. Even asked me to take my shower earlier because the hostel that night was fully booked by marathon runners who were joining the race today (Oct 29). He helped me to clear my problems about the special traffic arrangements on the marathon day as well. What a helpful and friendly host! The hostel is clean as well. Towels will be charged if needed."

"Upon arrival, the sofa bed was already set up, making the room feel very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, range hood, dishwasher, dish soap, and dishcloths – everything you could need. The toilet was separate from the washroom and shower. The shower had great water pressure. I didn't notice any skincare amenities provided in the room, but pajamas, toothbrushes, and razors were available for guests to pick up in the lobby. The lobby featured a spacious lounge and reading area, along with a drink vending machine. Downstairs and a right turn led directly to a food mall. Across a small street, to the left were a hair salon and an excellent seafood restaurant, while to the right was Hyakubangai shopping street. The front desk staff, who I believe was from Southeast Asia, could communicate well in English and had a pleasant demeanor. On a side note, here are some Kanazawa sightseeing recommendations. My child's top pick was Myoryuji Temple. It was reportedly built by the local lord as a covert defense against the central government, featuring many ingenious (though perhaps not very sturdy) hidden mechanisms. Many temples in that area were supposedly established for similar strategic purposes. My personal favorite was Nagamachi, near the Buke Yashiki (Samurai District). It's an area concentrated with former samurai residences – imagine a beautiful Japanese version of a historic mansion district like the Yuyuan Road or Huashan Hospital area in Shanghai. Scattered nearby are art shops, small museums detailing local history, and craft galleries. It’s quite fascinating to explore and learn about Kanazawa's past. There's also a small alley, possibly only open in the evenings, with yakitori izakayas called 'Hashi-something' (Bridge-something)? Higashi Chaya District, on the other hand, felt a bit like a 'tourist street' – the kind you find in many cities, whether genuinely old or a recreation – with somewhat homogenous merchandise. Still, it's very picturesque for photos. The Asano River itself was just like any small river in a Japanese provincial town, with scenery not quite comparable to the impressive urban riverfronts back home in China."

"A little far from the station, 2km30min can be walked, is a Japanese-style old house, very tasteful, bathroom toilet only one, room available space is small, there are tableware kitchen utensils can be used, there is a microwave oven and oven water cooker, but also encountered three kind Taiwanese editors."

"This was my first time staying at a completely renovated old house, but it was clean and spacious, and I was able to relax very comfortably. The location was also good, as it was only a 10-minute walk to Kanazawa's downtown area. The staff were also very polite."

"First of all, I have to mention checkin. Because I didn't look at the information carefully, I arrived at Neon Hotel about 9 pm. After I didn't know how to enter. Haocai met some guests and told us before I knew that I had to go to the Hotel Kanazawa next to the train station to do Checkin first. They will give you Neon Hotel's Access code . Enter the hotel and room. The room is clean and tidy. The space is enough for 4 of us. It is comfortable. There is a washing machine in the room to wash clothes. Very convenient. Hotel location is a bit difficult to find, but of course, it can be found by Google map god. There is no parking lot nearby. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. The hotel is about 7 minutes from the train station. It is convenient."

"It was located just across the roadfrom the Kanazwa JR station that also housed a mall, airport transfers and loads of good food. The place was larger than I expected but provided excellent service and daily breakfasts (noy buffet-style) in their second floor restaurant. A sign of how good service was - it was a little drizzly when we left but we said no to the offer of an umbrella as the station was less than 5 min away (and it was a very light drizzle). The lady accompanied us to the station just so she cd take the umbrellas back from us! The onsen was nice but I didn't hv time to try out any other facilities."
