The hotel needs renovation, the road is very bumpy to the hotel.

Superb property, very neat and clean, staff is excellent especially the resident manager, chef, restaurant captain, housekeeping staff and tea factory lady. All are excellent dedicated staff and helpful. Food was awesome. Very well maintained by all. Very caring and true hospitality. Look forward to visit again with my children and would definitely recommend to all my friends. All the best!

Very Special place, need to experience the ambience, and location in the hills of the Sri Lankan high country.

Amazing property. Has a vibe on its own. The room size isn't that big but they have retained its authentic 100 year old building and converted it into hotel rooms. The 6 course meal was good. The service was excellent. The property itself is a wonder and has so much aroma to it with its multiple parks and events that take place. The spice tea offered as welcome drink was something I have never tasted before and was excellent.

Amazing getaway for families or for pairs that enjoy tea. Reminiscent of Wes Anderson hotel and whilst small, it made the a weekend perfect. As eco friendly as it tries to be, hotel to look into car sharing for drop off and pick up at the train station. A lot of wastage for multiple trips down if the hotel is trying to be earth friendly. Tea taster and service staff are amazing.

Amazing Experience, its an Old hotel but I loved the theme!!

Heritage Hotel is first-rate in terms of design and service. I especially like the elevators here, which need to be opened and closed manually, which is very retro. There is a maze garden outside the hotel, a small garden passage similar to Alice in Wonderland, a children's playground, and you can sit on a chair and enjoy the clouds. However, you need to pay attention to the number of guests when booking a room. The order form states that only the number of guests can be accommodated. If the number exceeds the number, you need to pay extra. This time I accidentally booked the wrong number of people and paid a few more US dollars. I learned my lesson.

It is on the mountain, surrounded by rural areas and tea mountains. The tea mountains outside are not as open and grand as those in Yunnan. The floor is very thin and not soundproof. When you walk upstairs, you can hear the clatter downstairs. Simply clocking in at the tea mountain is not as good as in China. You can see the hotel's century-old elevator and factory atmosphere. It is mainly a hotel culture, so there is no need to come if you are short of time. Or if you charter a car, you can clock in, but the doorman will check the guest information. There is no guarantee that you can get in here, so why not try to use the excuse of going in to buy tea? The hotel's tea costs about 30 yuan for half a catty. If you go in to buy a bag of tea and clock in, it's still okay. If you are staying, it is not particularly necessary

There is heating in the room. You can't leave the hotel. It's too cold.

It is a heritage hotel and it is worth the trip. Everything is perfect.

The room was nice and not dated, we did not book dinner but ordered directly, the lamb chops were delicious, the gardens are beautiful.
