Das Hotel wurde seit meinem letzten Besuch teilweise renoviert und kommt jetzt etwas aufgefrischter daher. Das Zimmer ist hübsch, nur das Bad war etwas klein. Das Essen war sehr lecker, am Abend gab es eine Küchenparty und das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

This is a beautiful resort nestled in the Swiss mountains. Stunning views, amazing dining and one of the best spa’s we have ever visited. Kandersteg is quiet but you dont need to leave the hotel. Every need was catered for and we left truly relaxed. Will definitely return in the future!

Grand problème de communication à cause de la langue….. le français n’est pas du tout pris en compte par le personnel…. On a même remarqué que certain personnel ne parlait même pas l’allemand et que c’est l’anglais qui était privilégié. Je trouve ça inadmissible en Suisse. Sinon tout le reste c’est super !

Bestätigte Wünsche bei der Reservation wurden leider nicht umgesetzt. Boxspring Matratzen sind sehr weich. Härtere Matratzen nur in unrenovierten Zimmern. Somit mussten wir das Zimmer wechseln. Es war sehr ringhörig. Keine Türe zum Bad und WC. Unsere Ernährungswünsche haben die Küche für den ersten Abend nicht erreicht. Suppe ungeniessbar. Hauptgang vielen mit Pilzen. (Angemeldete Unverträglichkeit) Im Dorf habe ich mir dann noch eine tolle Pizza gegönnt. Am nächsten Weihnachtsabend bestand der Hauptgang aus etwas Rotkraut und Broccoli…. Im zweiten Versuch etwas mehr Gemüse mit den gewünschten Notfallpommes. Aus unserer Sicht war die Küche entweder nicht motiviert oder schlicht unfähig etwas kreatives und veganes zu kochen. Für diese Preisklasse inakzeptabel. Super hingegen ist die Lage, das Spa mit Schwimmbad, der schöne Holzbau und die stets sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Bella location, piscina interna e piccola Spa, colazione ottima, cosi come la merenda al pomeriggio.
Il ristorante per la cena propone piatti un po' troppo elaborati e pretenziosi, (preferiamo piatti più semplici, tradizionali anche se con materie prime locali)..
Parking compreso (per la Svizzera è un bel plus), personale gentle, cortese e disponibile.
Consigliato per una vacanza tranquilla a contatto con la natura.
