Very bad hotel with no basic facilities! The quality of the service staff is low and they have no service concept at all. Strongly despise this hotel! The price/performance ratio is super low, I can’t live there! ! !

This is our second visit to this hotel this year and we will always stay here when visiting Kandy. Excellent hotel with great food, personalized service, extremely friendly staff, clean and big rooms with great views. Great team taking care of the hospitality industry well so the guests will keep returning to this wonderful location. Cheers to Earl Gunasekara and his super team at this hotel.

Kandy is a mountain town, and the houses are basically built against the mountains. This hotel is actually like a resort. It is by the river. There are no attractions or residents nearby. The river is flowing fast, the flowers are fragrant, the birds are singing, and the sound is quite lively. At night, it was pitch dark near the hotel, and it was at least three kilometers away to find a small supermarket to buy anything. The accommodation building seems to be on the third or fourth floors. There is a small swimming pool in the garden. Sitting on the balcony, you can see the green mountain and garden views. I went out for a walk early in the morning and took pictures with my mobile phone of twenty different kinds of flowers! The only drawback is that the facilities in the room are relatively old.

Great service. A 3 star hotel that has the attempted services of 4 or 5. Rooms are a very great value. Clean and has everything you need. Restaurant and bar are a bit overpriced and distance to central Kandy is far if that is a concern.

Das Hotel begrüßt einem mit einer schönen Lobby und dem sehr freundlichen Personal. Wir durften hier 2 wunderbare Nächte verbringen, mit einem fantastischen Blick in das Umland von Kandy. Das Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen ein Genuß und der Pool traumhaft! Das Zimmer groß, sehr komfortabel und sauber! Kurzum ein wirklich tolles Hotel!

A great hotel in Kandy, rooms were very spacious with a lovely private outdoor area with seats and grassed area. Lovely views from the outdoor area. Nice food in the restaurant with plenty of selection. Happy hour in the bar/lounge area was great. The only negative was the loads of steps to get to the pool.

The hotel which is name of Earl's regent Kandy is very beautiful hotel and the staff is very kind and friendly and I want to say one thing the receptionist girl who name is chalani escode me to my room which is 215 and she is very kind I'm so happy about the staff 😀

Like last year I stayed at Earl’s Regent again, this time I was on my own. What a warm welcome….. my bed was beautifully decorated with flowers saying ‘Welcome back’!!! Many of the staff members came to greet me….. it felt like coming home again!! My dear friend Imandi Weligampala, whom I have been in contact with since last year, did everything to make me feel even more at home……. She is such a warm, friendly and sincere person and asked me time and time again if everything was okay and if I needed anything else……. She is the perfect ‘hostess’ and understands her job perfectly well!!! She is highly recommended!!!!!
