Would NOT recommend doing 'Malik' tours. If you do, discuss the price. He will try to rip you off. Scamming business owner. Tour was way overpriced, and I'm sure the driver isn't even getting much of the money... while Malik sits back in Kandy counting his money. Smiling on the outside but deceitful on the in. He looks at white skin and all he thinks is 'MONEY!!!'

We stayed opposite The Mango Garden in the Radisson Blue hotel, and went to the Mango Garden for dinner. My husband had the chicken curry, as you can see seven dishes came out. Absolutely delicious. I had the prawn noodles, so tasty! Amazing, Amazing value!

What a besutiful place in Kandy!! Very friendly owner with an open mindset. Close to the famous Kandy lake and to the main city center with a lot of restaurants. I can definitely recommend staying here! Thank you Malik for your kindness!! See you!!

Don’t get a tuk tuk from this hotel, find one elsewhere as they overcharge for almost every journey. Use Uber or pick me where possible. Bathroom stank at times and room was full of mosquitos. I had one meal at the restaurant which was supposedly fried chicken but was inedible. Wouldn’t recommend.

部屋は清潔、水回りも使いやすく快適でした。何より宿のスタッフの方々のホスピタリティが素晴らしい。特にオーナーのマルタさんに本当にお世話になりました。夜明け前の暗い早朝に トゥクトゥクで駅まで送ってくださりチケット購入のお手伝いもしてくれ更に列車の席まで荷物を運んでくださる親切さ。 こんなに良くしてくださるオーナーさんに出会ったことありません。 一人では駅まで辿り着けませんでした。 この宿のお陰でスリランカがもっと大好きになりました。 本当にありがとうございました！ それからスパも最高でした。 旅の疲れが取れました。

Malik et toute son équipe nous ont accueilli avec gentillesse. L’endroit est bien tenu et bien situé. La cuisine est délicieuse. Malik est venu nous chercher à la gare. a organisé facilement un transfert vers notre destination suivante et nous a donné de très bons conseils pour la suite de notre voyage.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. L’équipe est top, repas très bons, nous avons été super bien accueillis. Bien placé aussi, car il ne donne pas directement sur la route avec beaucoup de circulation. Mention spéciale pour les massages qui sont sur place ! Je recommande.

I had an excellent time at Hotel Mango Garden when staying in Kandy. Malik was one of the nicest/friendliest hosts I came across on my travels and even upgraded my room on arrival. He was really generous with his time and provided me with information about the local area and helped provide advice about future travel plans. The hotel itself was clean, spacious and a good location close to lake but still in a quiet part of town. I also met other solo travellers here who I went on to climb Adam’s Peak with. Would recommend Hotel Mango Garden to anyone. Thanks again Malik, it was a please meeting you!
