Lovely stay with friendly staff and great chef. Service was a bit slow but otherwise a great stay. The roof top pool was particularly great. The chef was very approachable and able to cater for allergy needs. Easy access to Kandy itself and the hotel was able to arrange a van or tuktuk as needed.

Beautiful place, good service and recommend to visit. We came on march very good staff, tasty food. Clean and nice rooms. Rooftop pool with nice view. Quality rooms with good service. Will see Again.

We stayed at Serene Kandy for two weeks as we were doing a medical placement at the local hospital. We weren’t sure what to expect given the recent turmoil and economic crisis in Sri Lanka but the hotel was perfect! Don’t judge it from the outside. The rooms are lovely, super clean, comfy beds and an amazing bathroom with a massive shower. The hotel pool is also wonderful and they kept it open for us as late as we wanted in the evening. We got breakfast included which is well worth the money, they provide an amazing breakfast which was plenty to have as a brunch so kept us going till an early dinner. The staff at the hotel were so lovely and helped us with anything we needed. They were always smiling and very friendly. Whilst we were staying national curfews took place due to protests against the government turning violent around the country. The hotel made sure we never felt unsafe and they contacted other hotels and restaurants for us each day to make sure we could get lovely meals in the evenings. We couldn’t recommend this place more!!

We were here for 2 weeks. Nice city view. The best service and staff ever. They are always so happy to see you and ready to provide any help you need. Super clean rooms. Thanks to administrator Manjula! He can organize whatever you need and suggest to you some interesting places.
